Barcelona, Mobile World Congress, 26th February 2018, Sony Mobile Communications (“Sony Mobile”) today announced that Xperia Ear Duo is rolling out from Spring 2018, with pre-order starting from Mobile World Congress 2018.

Xperia Ear Duo features Dual Listening technology, so you can listen to music and receive notifications, whilst simultaneously hearing environmental sound or conversation. Whether you’re listening to music during a workout or commute, it’s an unparalleled ambient experience.




The Spatial Acoustic Conductor, developed by Sony’s in-house technology incubator Future Lab Program™, allows the sound generated behind the ear by the unit´s driver to be transmitted directly into the ear. The specially designed ring supporter surrounds the ear canal so your music can blend seamlessly with sounds from your environment.




The volume intelligently adjusts based on your surroundings and background noise, with Sony’s Clear PhaseTM audio technology eliminating sound dispersion for crystal clear listening.




Smart assistance when you need it




Driven by Sony’s ultra-low power consuming “SPRITZER” chip and a sophisticated multi-sensor platform, the “Daily Assist3” feature will recognise time, location and activities to offer relevant information throughout the day - reminding you what time your next meeting is when you reach the office or narrating the latest news headlines.




Xperia Ear Duo also responds to head gestures – the advanced sensors allow you to answer or decline incoming calls by shaking or nodding your head, or skipping through music by shaking your head left and right. You can also control your music and volume by simply tapping and scrolling on the device.




Voice control is also built in with flexible access to the personal assistants you use most, whether it’s Google Assistant or Siri. Quad microphone beam-forming isolates the sound of your voice, filtering out external noise to help you set reminders, send messages, make calls or launch an application, all freely and easily.

Made from durable stainless aluminium and soft rubber, Xperia Ear Duo sits under the ear to avoid interference with glasses or accessories. The open-ring supporter comes in three different sizes, and IPX2 splash proofing means it’s comfortable enough to wear all day, every day.




You’ll be able to enjoy up to four hours listening on a single charge, and the innovative compact case doubles as a charger, providing up to three times more power when you’re on the move. What’s more, the case offers a fast charging feature, giving you two hours of listening with just twelve minutes of charging.

تمت صناعة "Xperia Ear Duo" من الألمنيوم المتين المقاوم للصدأ والمطاط اللين من أجل تثبيته تحت الأذن تجنباً لتشابكه مع النظارات أو الإكسسوارات الأخرى. وتأتي دعامة الحلقة المفتوحة بثلاث مقاسات مختلفة، في حين تعني ميزة IPX2 المقاومة للماء والغبار أنه بالإمكان استخدام هذا الجهاز على مدار الساعة كل يوم.

Camera technology innovation preview



At Sony, we know how important a sophisticated camera is in a smartphone, so we have continued to push the boundaries of what is possible. At MWC our new ultra-high sensitivity camera technology which has the power to see the unseen — including images in extreme low light - will be showcased. With a newly developed dual camera and Sony's newly developed fusion image signal processor which makes real-time processing possible, it allows image capture in extremely dark conditions thanks to its unprecedented ISO sensitivity 51200 for photos and ISO 12800 for video which is currently only possible with inter-changeable lens cameras. French pavilion participates in the events of the second session of Batimat Egypt 2018

Business France, the national agency for the internationalization of the French economy, will be organizing the French pavilion at BATIMAT EGYPT, a promising event for the country construction sector.




For the second edition of BATIMAT EGYPT, the French Embassy is proud to organize the French presence on the show. Ten small and medium size French companies will be represented on the event, companies willing to develop partnerships with Egyptian counterparts. An official visit from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region leaded by its first vice-president, Mr. Etienne BLANC, is also scheduled. This visit will give the opportunity to the companies to show their expertise and identify Egyptian partners.




The French sustainable city club will also be represented on the French pavilion. The Club aims at promoting the French offer and at contributing to the structuration of an Egyptian sustainable city sector through the identification of needs, high potential market segments and operational decision makers. The Sustainable City Club fosters synergies between its members to propose comprehensive solutions to identified local challenges.




The construction sector is very dynamic in Egypt and we are pretty sure that BATIMAT will be a good opportunity to develop new commercial relations between France and Egypt.

جناح فرنسي يشارك بفعاليات الدورة الثانية لمعرض باتيمات مصر 2018

ستقوم الوكالة الوطنية لدعم تنمية الاقتصاد الفرنسي دولياً "بيزنس فرانس" بتنظيم الجناح الفرنسي المشارك بفعاليات معرض باتيمات مصر وذالك في الفترة من 1 الى 4 مارس القادم والذي يمثل حدثاً واعداً لقطاع التشييد والبناء في البلاد. 

وقد صرح ليدوفيك بريفوا ، مدير مكتب بيزنس فرانس في مصر ان السفارة الفرنسية ستنظم مشاركة الشركات الفرنسية في الدورة الثانية لمعرض باتيمات مصر، إذ ستشارك عشر شركات صغيرة ومتوسطة في هذا الحدث، وهي شركات راغبة في تطوير عمليات شراكة مع النظراء المصريين. كما يتضمن جدول الأعمال زيارة رسمية للسيد إتيان بلانك ، اول نائب لرئيس المجلس الإقليمي لمنطقة أوفرن-رون-ألب حيث ستتيح هذه الزيارة للشركات فرصة عرض خبراتها وتحديد الشركاء المصريين. 

إلى جانب ذلك سيشارك نادي المدينة المستدامة الفرنسي بالجناح. ويهدف هذا النادي إلى الترويج للعرض الفرنسي والمساهمة في إعداد قطاع مصري للمدن المستدامة وذلك من خلال تحديد الاحتياجات وقطاعات السوق ذات الامكانات الكبيرة إلى جانب التعرف على متخذي القرارات التشغيلية. هذا ويعمل نادي المدينة المستدامة على تنشيط التعاون بين أعضائه بهدف تقديم حلول شاملة لتحديد التحديات المحلية. 

جدير بالذكر أن قطاع التشييد والبناء في مصر يتمتع بنشاط كبير ونحن على أتم ثقة بأن معرض باتيمات سيكون فرصة جيدة لتطوير علاقات تجارية جديدة بين فرنسا ومصر.

فاروس القابضة تفوز بجائزة جلوبال فايننس كأفضل بنك استثمار في مصر لعام 2018

حصلت شركة فاروس القابضة للاستثمارات المالية على لقب أفضل بنك استثمار في مصر ضمن قائمة جلوبال فايننس، وهي إحدى أكبر المجلات المالية المتخصصة، لأفضل بنوك استثمار في العالم لعام 2018.

Ibbenbüren. The production of Neolyse Ibbenbüren GmbH, a joint venture of AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals and Evonik Industries AG at the AkzoNobel site in Ibbenbüren (Germany), is off to a successful start.

The plant with its state-of-the-art membrane technology has an annual capacity of 120,000 metric tons of potassium hydroxide solution and 75,000 metric tons of chlorine and hydrogen.



Operated by AkzoNobel, the facility strengthens the respective leading positions of both companies.

AkzoNobel commercializes chlorine and hydrogen, while Evonik distributes the locally produced potassium hydroxide solution and processes parts of it into other products such as potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate and potassium formate at its Lülsdorf site.



“The Ibbenbüren facility sets a completely new standard for the chlor-alkali industry,” said Werner Fuhrmann, Chairman of the AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals Executive Board, during the official opening ceremony of the new facility. “It enables us to secure the supply of our customers in the long term while further improving our company’s sustainability profile and operational efficiency.”



The new production process at the site improves the ecological footprint of every metric ton of chlorine produced in Ibbenbüren by 25 to 30 percent, resulting in lower energy consumption and fewer CO2 emissions. “We demonstrated throughout the course of the project that two experienced partners can contribute their diverse experience to intelligently shape their business environment. We complement each other very well and look forward to continuing our collaboration, which benefits our customers and therefore ultimately also the market for potassium hydroxide,” noted Dr. Harald Schwager, Deputy Chairman of the Evonik Executive Board, on the occasion of opening the plant.



AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals is the market leader for industrial salt, chlorine and chloromethanes in Europe.

إيبنبورن. بدأ إنتاج شركة نيوليز إيبنبورن المحدودة؛ وهي شركة مشتركة تتألف من شركة اكزو نوبل للكيماويات المتخصصة وشركة إيفونيك للصناعات (ش.م.)، في موقع اكزو نوبل، إيبنبورن بألمانيا، بدايةً ناجحة.

تبلغ الطاقة السنوية للمصنع الذي يتمتع بأحدث تقنيات الأغشية 120،000 طنًا متريًا من محلول هيدروكسيد البوتاسيوم، و75،000 طنًا متريًا من الكلور والهيدروجين.

تُدعِم المنشأة، نظرًا لإدارتها من قبل شركة اكزو نوبل المناصب القيادية لكلا الشركتين.

تتاجر شركة اكزو نوبل في الكلور والهيدروجين، بينما تُوزع شركة إيفونيك محلول هيدروكسيد البوتاسيوم المُنتج محليًا، وتُعالج أجزاءً منه وتُحولها إلى منتجاتٍ أخرى مثل كربونات البوتاسيوم وبيكربونات البوتاسيوم وفورمات البوتاسيوم وذلك في موقعها في لولسدورف.

أثناء حفل الافتتاح الرسمي للمنشأة الجديدة صرح فيرنر فهرمان، رئيس المجلس التنفيذي لشركة اكزو نوبل للكيماويات المتخصصة بأن "منشأة إيبنبورن تضع معاييرًا جديدة تمامًا لصناعة الكلور القلوي". وأردف بقوله "فهذه المنشأة تُمكننا من توفير الإمدادات لعملائنا على المدى الطويل، مع تحسين حالة الاستدامة بالشركة وكفاءتها التشغيلية".

وعملية الإنتاج الجديدة في الموقع تُحسن البصمة البيئية لكل طن متري من الكلور المُنتج في إيبنبورن بنسبة تتراوح ما بين 25 إلى 30 بالمائة، مما يقلل استهلاك الطاقة، وانبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون. وصرح دكتور هارالد شواجر، نائب رئيس المجلس التنفيذي لشركة إيفونيك، بمناسبة افتتاح المصنع قائلًا "لقد أثبتنا خلال مدة المشروع أن شريكَين من ذوي الخبرة يمكنهما المساهمة بخبراتهما المتنوعة في صياغة بيئة عملهما بمهارة، فنحن نُكمل بعضنا البعض على نحوٍ جيدٍ للغاية كما أننا نتطلع إلى مواصلة التعاون فيما بيننا، مما يجلب النفع لعملائنا، ومن ثَم لسوق هيدروكسيد البوتاسيوم".

تُعد شركة اكزو نوبل للكيماويات المتخصصة رائدة السوق في إنتاج الملح الصناعي والكلور وكلورو الميثان في أوروبا.
