فتح باب التقدم لبرنامج جامعة نورثمبريا، جامعة سانت جورج، غرينادا للعام الدراسي 2022-2023

 

الإمارات العربية المتحدة، دبي، 5 ديسيمبر 2021: أعلنت جامعة سانت جورج في غرينادا، جزر الهند الغربية أن قبول الأطباء الطموحين أصبح متاحاً ضمن برنامج جامعة نورثمبريا، الذي يقدم للطلاب فرصة لبدء مسيرتهم المهنية بمجال الطب في المملكة المتحدة.

توفر الشراكة بين جامعة سانت جورج وجامعة نورثمبريا للطلاب في العالم فرصة للعيش في مدينة نيوكاسل أبون تاين، بينما يكملون حتى 50٪ من دراستهم في المملكة المتحدة، ويحصلون على شهادة دكتوراه في الطب.

التقديم متاح للانضمام إلى جامعة نورثمبريا للعام الدراسي القادم الذي يبدأ في سبتمبر 2022. ويمكن للطلاب الآن تقديم طلباتهم من أجل الانضمام للحصول على شهادة طبية من جامعة سان جورج والبدء في جامعة نورثمبريا، ما يوفر لهم تجربة تعليمية دولية حقيقية.

وفي تعليق له، قال الدكتور جيمس كوي، مدير البرنامج والرئيس المشارك والأستاذ المساعد بعلم التشريح في جامعة سانت جورج بالشراكة مع جامعة نورثمبريا: "في مبنى مدينة جامعة نورثمبريا في نيوكاسل أبون تاين، استثمرت الجامعة أكثر من 250 مليون جنيه إسترليني في مرافقها على مدار العقد الماضي. ويشهد المبنى الجامعي تطوراً متواصلاً بهدف توفير بيئة مناسبة لطلاب الطب القادمين من جميع أنحاء العالم لبناء مستقبلهم. يعيش جميع طلاب جامعة سانت جورج معاً في سكن ترينيتي سكوير في غيتسهيد، المشروع الحديث، على بعد عشرين دقيقة فقط سيرًا على الأقدام أو ركوباً بالمترو سريع من حرم المدينة الجامعي. عند العيش والدراسة في بيئة دولية، يحظى الطلاب بتعليم طبي شامل ومتنوع ثقافيًا، يشكل أساساً لأي مهنة طبيب ناجح" ، هذا ما قاله الدكتور جيمس كوي ، مدير الدورة ، والرئيس المشارك والأستاذ المساعد في علم التشريح في جامعة سانت جورج بالشراكة مع جامعة نورثمبريا".

ومنذ إطلاق البرنامج في المملكة المتحدة في يناير 2007، استقبل منذ ذلك الحين أكثر من 1700 طالب طب في نيوكاسل.

تتضمن برامج الطب الاستثنائية المتاحة نقاط دخول متعددة للطلاب من أنظمة تعليمية مختلفة حول العالم. ويمكن لطلاب جامعة سانت جورج الذين يبدؤون رحلتهم في جامعة نورثمبريا الانضمام إلى برنامج لمدة أربع سنوات أو خمس سنوات أو ست سنوات. تشمل البرامج قبل السريرية لمدة خمس وست سنوات دورات دراسية مخصصة لإعداد الطلاب لكلية الطب أثناء تحصيل العلوم قبل السريرية.

يركز برنامج كلية الطب خلال العامين الأخيرين على العلوم السريرية، مع فرص التدريب في أكثر من 70 مركزاً سريرياً ومستشفيات تابعة لجامعة سانت جورج في الولايات المتحدة أو المملكة المتحدة. يؤكد التدريب السريري على المسؤولية والنضج والرحمة في تطوير التميز المهني. يتعلم الطلاب كيفية التصرف كأطباء، وتحمل المسؤولية، والعمل بانسجام مع الزملاء المحترفين، وإظهار النضج.

يتمتع طلاب جامعة سانت جورج بفرصة دراسة الطب في عدد من أفضل المستشفيات وأكثرها شهرة في العالم. تشمل الدراسات السريرية التي يتلقاها الطلاب الدورات الأساسية والتدريب الداخلي والرعاية الأولية والمناوبات في تخصصات مثل الجراحة وطب الأطفال والطب النفسي وطب الأسرة.

ضاعفت السلطات الحكومية على المستويين الدولي والوطني ضغوطها من أجل مكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب. لذلك أصبح تحديد الهوية والتحقق من الأطراف الثالثة في الشركات المالكة المستفيدة (العملاء، المودرين، الوكلاء، المستشارين إلخ) مكونا رئيسيا في عملية الانضمام والتعويض في إطار برنامج "اعرف عميلك".

وفي مزيد من التفاصيل هو أهمية هذا الموضوع، أضاف أنطون: "بينما الاعتراف واسع بهذه الإلتزامات بالنسبة للصناعات المنظمة مثل البنوك، شركات التأمين وغيرها من شركات الصناعات المالية، فإن هناك مؤسسات أخرى اليوم تتأثر بشكل مباشر بهذه المتطلبات للإفصاح وسوف يستمر هذا التوجه في النمو مستقبلا في القطاعات والصناعات على مستوى العالم. بالتالي، من الضروري توعية الشركات، العاملة في مختلف القطاعات، بكيفية ضمان امتثالها للإلتزامات التنظيمية، اتخاذ قرارات قائمة على معلومات صحيحة، الحيلولة دون استخدام أعمالها لغسل عائدات الجرائم المالية والحفاظ على إلتزامها وتجنب الغرامات."

stc and Thales collaborate to develop digital solutions for businesses

stc and Thales have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration in various areas, such as: ICT, AI, cybersecurity, smart cities, IoT, machine connectivity, identity solutions, payment solutions, and 5G satellite solutions. Through this partnership, stc aims to develop and enhance digital solutions in order to provide its customers with cybersecurity solutions, as well as provide training to enhance digital skills in these technologies through stc Academy.

Al Masaood Automobiles expands scope of ‘Al Masaood Confidence’ to include owners of certified pre-owned vehicles

Under programme, CPO customers can replace vehicles 15 days from date of purchase

Abu Dhabi, December 6, 2021 - Responding to high customer demand, Al Masaood Automobiles, the exclusive distributor for Nissan, INFINITI and Renault in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western region, has announced that it is expanding the scope of its ‘Al Masaood Confidence’ programme to include the owners of certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles.

‘Al Masaood Confidence’ was launched initially for new car buyers, giving them the option to ask for a replacement of their vehicles if unsatisfied with their purchase. The programme provides a 15-day satisfaction guarantee, which means that a customer can select another car of their choice as a replacement within 15 days from the date of purchase.

The company has now extended the same guarantee to buyers of CPO models. Within the set timeframe, Al Masaood Automobiles’ customers can avail themselves of the programme to replace their units with another pre-owned vehicle. For Nissan buyers, they can benefit as well from the company’s ‘Nissan Intelligent Choice’ fleet of CPO vehicles, the first manufacturer-backed warranty for CPO in the region.

Apart from vehicle replacements, customers can also enjoy a host of other benefits under ‘Al Masaood Confidence’ such as roadside assistance services and an exclusive employment payment protection plan.

An added option, the employment protection plan is an innovative solution designed to protect customers from unexpected events and anticipate their requirements post-pandemic. This insurance coverage assures them that their monthly instalments will be paid for up to four months in case they were made redundant by their employers.
