employees honored for long-standing service
Manama,
Bahrain: 28 October 2016: Sika
Arabia, a joint venture with Saudi Sumam Chemicals, held a gala dinner to celebrate
20 years of success established across the GCC countries on Friday, 21 October
2016 at Art Rotana, Bahrain. The dinner also honored 27 employees who had dedicated 15 years or
more of service to the company.
The
dinner was attended by His Excellency, Mr.Etienne
Thévoz, Swiss Ambassador to Qatar and Bahrain and and Mr.
Paul Haelg, Group Chairman and Mr. Abdullaziz Zaidan, Sika
Arabia Chairman and other distinguished guests
from the construction industry.
More than 150 guests were present at the event.
Speaking at the
event, Mr. Ashraf Wahib, Area Manager GCC, said, “Over the past 20 years, Sika
Arabia has established itself as an industry
leader in specialty chemical products and industrial
construction materials. Today, we are celebrating a key milestone for
Sika Arabia in the GCC, as the largest producer of construction chemicals
across the Middle East and Africa. Our strategy for the next five years is to double our
turnover both by accelerating organic growth and through acquisitions. We are
confident, that our excellent network with a strong supply chain presence in
the region will enable us to achieve our vision and satisfy the growing demands
of our customers.”

Sika Arabia, has a highly skilled,

Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, UAE and in Manama,
Bahrain, with two additional plants in the pipeline.

أقامت شركة سيكا العربية، وهي مشروع مشترك مع الشركة
السعوديه سمام للكيماويات ، حفل عشاء كبير احتفاء
بمرور 20 عاماً على عملها الناجح في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. وتم خلال الحفل، الذي أقيم في فندق أرت
روتانا يوم الجمعة 21 أكتوبر، تكريم 27 موظفاً أمضوا أكثر من 15 عاماً من العمل في
الشركة.
وحضر الحفل 150 ضيفاً من بينهم سعادة السيد اتيان ثيفوز، السفير السويسري
لدى قطر والبحرين، والسيد بول هالق، رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة سيكا، والسيد عبد
العزيز زيدان، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة سيكا العربية، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الضيوف
البارزين من قطاع البناء.
وفي كلمة القاها خلال الحفل، قال السيد أشرف وهيب، مدير منطقة دول مجلس
التعاون الخليجي في الشركة: "لقد رسخت شركة سيكا العربية وجودها خلال العشرين
عاماً الماضية كرائدة في قطاع المنتجات الكيماوية ومواد البناء الصناعية. واليوم
نحتفل بمحطة بارزة في مسيرة الشركة في الخليج باعتبارنا أكبر منتج لكيماويات
البناء في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا. إن استراتيجيتنا خلال السنوات الخمس المقبلة هي
العمل علي مضاعفة حجم اعمالنا من خلال زياده الحصه السوقيه و الاستحواذات. كما ان
شبكتنا الممتازة و تواجدنا القوي بعدة مصانع علي مستوي المنطقه، ستمكننا من تحقيق
رؤيتنا وتلبية الطلب المتزايد لعملائنا".
وأضاف: "نيابة عن مجلس إدارة الشركة وأعضاء الإدارة، أشكر جميع
موظفينا الذين مكنتنا مساهماتهم القيّمة من تحقيق رؤيتنا وقيمنا ومهمتنا. إن
موظفينا هم أهم جزء من شركتنا، ونعتز بالموظفين الذين خدموا معنا لمدة طويلة
وعائلاتهم، والذين جرى تكريمهم الليلة تقديراً لالتزامهم واخلاصهم ومساهماتهم في
نجاح الشركة، ونتطلع إلى العمل معهم لسنوات طويلة قادمة. ونود أيضاً أن نعرب عن
جزيل شكرنا لعملائنا الذين أدت علاقاتنا الممتازة معهم إلى تنفيذ العديد من
المشروعات الناجحة".

المزود الرئيسي للمنتجات الكيماوية والمواد الصناعية المتخصصة التي تخدم الأسواق
الصناعية وأسواق الانشاءات بما فيها النقل والبحرية والسيارات. وتصنع سيكا إضافة
إلى ذلك العديد من مواد البناء والمونة الاسمنتية الجاهزة لتزويد دول المنطقة بها.
