AUC TO DISCUSS THE EFFECT OF STUNTING ON EGYPT’S FUTURE GENERATION

Lecture, “Stunting: What is it? How is it Affecting the Future Generation of Egypt, and What are its Implication on the Egyptian Economy and Social Development?” as part of the Provost’s Lecture Series at The American University in Cairo (AUC).




Stunting is a medical term used to describe a condition where the child does not reach his or her expected height throughout childhood and hence in adulthood.




The Provost Lecture Series promotes dialogue amongst the larger AUC community and the public on issues of public importance at the national, regional, or international levels.
