Launch of EOS brings total number of crypto assets available on the platform to ten
Move comes as investors increasingly seek to diversify into altcoins
Users own the asset and benefit from eToro’s established checks and procedures
May 05, 2018 - eToro, a global trading and investment platform with over nine million users, has today added EOS onto its platform, bringing the total number of cryptocurrency assets available on the site to ten.
EOS is the token linked to one of the most powerful infrastructures for decentralized applications. EOS is a blockchain-based, decentralized system that enables the development, hosting, and execution of commercial-scale decentralized applications (dApps) on its platform.
The addition of EOS follows NEO and Stellar earlier this year and comes as investors increasingly turn their attention to altcoins, as they seek new investment opportunities and diversification for their portfolios.
It will now be available on the eToro platform alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Stellar and NEO.
Cryptocurrency investors on eToro own the real underlying asset, with eToro acting as custodian.
eToro users benefit from eToro’s verification procedures, security processes and established reputation within the crypto community.

أعلنت شركة "إيتورو" (eToro)، الشبكة العالمية للتداول الاجتماعي والاستثمار والبالغ عدد مستخدميها 9 ملايين مستخدم، عن إضافتها للعملة الرقمية "إي أو إس" (EOS) إلى منصتها للتداول، ليصل بذلك عدد العملات المُشفرة المتاحة على المنصة إلى عشر عملات.
وعملة "إي أو إس" هي رمز "توكن" (token) مرتبط بواحدة من أقوى البنى التحتية للتطبيقات اللامركزية، وهي عبارة عن نظام لا مركزي قائم على تقنية البلوكتشين يتيح إمكانية تطوير واستضافة وتنفيذ التطبيقات اللامركزية التجارية على منصتها.
ويأتي إضافة عملة "إي أو إس" بعد أن تم في وقت سابق من العام إضافة عملتي "إن إي أو" (NEO) و"ستيلر" (Stellar)، وفي وقت يتزايد طلب المستثمرين فيه على "العملات البديلة" (altcoins)، في ظل سعيهم للحصول على فرص استثمارية جديدة وتنويع محافظهم الاستثمارية.
وستتاح الآن إمكانية التداول بعملة "إي أو إس" على منصة "إيتورو" إلى جانب سلة العُملات الرقمية المتوفرة الأخرى، "بيتكوين" (Bitcoin) و"إيثريوم" (Ethereum) و"بيتكوين كاش" (Bitcoin Cash) و"إكس آر بي" (XRP) و"ليتكوين" (Litecoin) و"إيثريوم كلاسيك" (Ethereum Classic) و"داش" (Dash) و"ستيلر" و"إن إي أو".
ويمتلك مستثمرو العملات المُشفرة في شبكة "إيتورو"، الأصول الأساسية الحقيقية، حيث تقوم "إيتورو" بدور الوصي فقط. كما يستفيد مستخدمو المنصة من إجراءات التحقق وعمليات الحماية، والمكانة الرائدة التي تتمتع بها الشركة ضمن فضاء العملات المشفرة.
