Participation reaffirms Airbus’ ongoing commitment to supporting its long-lasting partnerships with Qatar
Doha, Qatar, 07 March, 2018: Airbus today announced that it will be participating in the sixth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) which will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre from the 12th to the 14th of March.
Held under the patronage and vision of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, the exhibition gathers together maritime and defence leaders from around the world to develop solutions to the industry’s most pressing challenges and share knowledge and insights around cutting-edge military technology.
DIMDEX provides an excellent platform for Airbus to demonstrate its commitment to working with its partners across the world to provide the most innovative products and services that will enable public and private sector companies to access the best possible resources to meet the evolving needs of the maritime, defence and security industries.
During the exhibition, Airbus will showcase a wide portfolio of its innovative products and solutions at its stand (H4-109a), which is located in the French Pavilion. Highlights include a range of Airbus mock-up helicopters such as the Naval NH90 NFH and the VSR700, an unmanned reconnaissance helicopter, which made its first flight in May 2017.
A number of Airbus Defence and Space mock-ups will also be displayed including the A330 MRTT, a multi-role tanker and transport vehicle that provides unrivalled capabilities and the C295, a multi-mission state of the art aircraft, which represents an unmatched choice for regional military transport or medium range maritime patrol.
A mock-up of Airbus Pléiades, the earth observation satellites constellation system that supports military operations with unmatched intelligence services, will also be displayed. Additionally, the Cyber: SOC-in the box and global offer, Zephyr, Airbus’ High Altitude Pseudo-Satellite (HAPS) and the Virtual Customer Brief (VCB) will feature.
First held in 2008, DIMDEX has witnessed continuous growth since its inception to become a leading event in the international maritime defence and security industry calendar. The three-day event will also feature the international strategic Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC), the visit of warships to Doha Commercial Port and several elite VIP delegation visits.

الدوحة، قطر، 7 مارس 2018 - أعلنت شركة إيرباص اليوم عن إتمام استعداداتها للمشاركة في النسخة السادسة من معرض ومؤتمر الدوحة الدولي للدفاع البحري "ديمدكس" والذي سيعقد في مركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات في الفترة من 12 إلى 14 مارس الجاري.
ويأتي هذا الحدث تحت رعاية صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، أمير دولة قطر، والذي يجمع قادة العالم في مجال القوات البحرية والدفاع لتطوير حلول للتحديات الأكثر إلحاحاً في هذه الصناعة وتبادل المعرفة والرؤى حول التكنولوجيا العسكرية المتطورة.
ويوفر معرض ديمدكس منصة ممتازة لشركة إيرباص لإثبات التزامها بالعمل مع شركائها في جميع أنحاء العالم لتقديم المنتجات والخدمات الأكثر ابتكاراً التي من شأنها تمكين شركات القطاعين العام والخاص من الوصول إلى أفضل الموارد الممكنة لتلبية الاحتياجات المتطورة لكلاً من القوات البحرية والأمن والدفاع.
وخلال الحدث الاستثنائي، ستعرض شركة إيرباص مجموعة واسعة من منتجاتها وحلولها المبتكرة في جناحها (H4-109a)، الذي يقع ضمن الجناح الفرنسي. وتشمل أبرز ما ستعرضه الشركة مجسمات لطائرات الهليكوبتر مثل طراز Naval NH90 NFH وطراز VSR700 وهي طائرة هليكوبتر استطلاعية بدون طيار، والتي قامت بأول رحلة لها في مايو من العام الماضي.
كما سيتم عرض عدد من نماذج منتجات إيرباص للدفاع والفضاء بما في ذلك طائرة الـ A330 MRTT، الناقلة العسكرية متعددة المهام التي توفر قدرات لا مثيل لها، بالإضافة إلى طائرة C295، ذات الاستخدامات العسكرية المتعددة، والتي تمثل خياراً لا مثيل له للتنقلات العسكرية الإقليمية أو الدوريات البحرية متوسطة المدى.
كما سيتم عرض مجسم "إيرباص بليادس"، للأقمار الصناعية المتخصصة برصد كوكب الأرض والتي تدعم العمليات العسكرية والخدمات الاستخباراتية بقدرات وتقنيات لا مثيل لها. كما سيتم عرض حلول في العديد من المجالات مثل الحماية الإلكترونية The Cyber: SOC-in the box ، وزفير (Zephyr)، و(HAPS) و .(VCB)
وقد شهد معرض ومؤتمر الدوحة الدولي للدفاع البحري (ديمدكس)، منذ انطلاقه في عام 2008، نمواً مستمراً ليصبح حدثاً رائداً على أجندة صناعة الدفاع البحري والأمن الدولي. وسيضم هذا الحدث البارز، والذي ينظم على مدار ثلاثة أيام من ١٢ إلى ١٤ مارس، المؤتمر الدولي الاستراتيجي للقيادة البحرية في الشرق الأوسط Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC)، كما سيشمل زيارة السفن الحربية إلى ميناء الدوحة التجاري والعديد من زيارات كبار الشخصيات البارزة.
