Bee’ah’s landmark of sustainability has partnered with yet another world-renowned entity, following agreements with Zaha Hadid Architects and Al Futtaim Carillion
SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates, November 18, 2017 –(AETOS Wire)- Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading and award-winning environmental management company, has signed an agreement with Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, a world-renowned, multi-disciplinary design practice based in Italy. The agreement will provide bespoke furniture, fixture, equipment and interior design services for Bee'ah's new, iconic headquarters in Sharjah.
HE Salim Al Owais, Chairman of Bee’ah, signed the agreement with Antonio Citterio, co-founding principal of Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel on Friday, 10th November 2017, at the offices of Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel in Milan, Italy. Other attendees included Group CEO, HE Khaled Al Huraimel, and HE Abdullah Hassan Al Shamsi, Consul-General of the UAE in Milan.
Offering his insights on the momentous signing, HE Salim Al Owais, Chairman of Bee’ah, said “We have always prided ourselves on implementing best-in-class practices and forming alliances with global specialists to execute ambitious projects. One of our most ambitious projects to date is our new headquarters, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Through this agreement, we look forward to utilising their unique aesthetics to complement the design of the headquarters to achieve our vision of creating an architectural icon of sustainability.”
The signing is with yet another world-renowned entity, following agreements with Zaha Hadid Architects and Al Futtaim Carillion. It demonstrates top companies in their respective industries working together to create Bee'ah’s landmark of sustainability. The guiding strategy behind the headquarters was to implement world-class practices and form alliances with leading entities to produce exceptional results.
Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which specialises in the fields of architecture, interior and urban design, are renowned for their exceptional work, and rank among the most distinguished designers in the world. Their timeless, world-class designs have led to their success globally, spanning continents and catering to some of the world’s most illustrious establishments. Some of their most recent projects include the interior design of the Bulgari Hotel Beijing, located in the heart of the Embassy District in China’s capital city. In addition, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel’s portfolio includes the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in Milan, London and Dubai; the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Milan; and the Ermenegildo Zegna group headquarters in Milan.

Bee’ah’s new, iconic complex will be powered by 100 per cent renewable energy sources and was designed by the late Zaha Hadid, a world-renowned and award-winning architect. The landmark building will be the first building in the UAE that is powered by green renewable energy and is expected to achieve the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, the green-building standard's highest rating. Its ultra-low carbon, minimal water consumption and efficient use of materials during construction, embody sustainable principles.

الشارقة ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة ، 18 نوفمبر 2017-("ايتوس واير")- وقعت "بيئة"، الشركة الرائدة والحائزة على العديد من الجوائز في مجال إدارة البيئة، اتفاقية مع "أنطونيو سيتيريو وباتريشيا فييل"، الشركة العالمية في مجال التصميم ومتعددة التخصصات والذي سيتم اتخاذه ايطاليا مقراً لأعمالها، لتزويد "بيئة" بأثاث مفصّل حسب الطلب مع كامل التجهيزات والمعدّات وخدمات التصميم الداخلي لمقر "بيئة" الجديد والأيقوني في إمارة الشارقة.
ووقع الاتفاقية سعادة سالم العويس، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة "بيئة"، مع السيد أنطونيو سيتيريو، المؤسّس الرئيسي في شركة "أنطونيو سيتيريو وباتريشيا فييل"، وذلك يوم الجمعة الموافق 10 نوفمبر 2017 في مقرها الرئيسي في ميلان، إيطاليا، بحضور الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة سعادة خالد الحريمل، و قنصل عام الدولة في ميلانو، سعادة عبدالله حسن الشامسي.
وقال سالم العويس، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة "بيئة"، على هامش توقيع الاتفاقية "لطالما كنا وما زلنا نفتخر بتطبيق أفضل الممارسات العالمية عبر تشكيل تحالفات متينة مع أصحاب التخصصات العالمية من مختلف دول العالم بغرض تنفيذ مشاريع طموحة، ولعلّ مشروعنا الأحدث المتمثل بإنشاء مقرنا الجديد، الذي صمّمته شركة زها حديد للتصاميم المعمارية، هو خيرُ مثالٍ على رؤيتنا الطموحة التي نتمناها، ومن خلال هذه الاتفاقية نتطلع إلى بناء وتطوير أكثر المباني استدامة في المنطقة وتحقيق رؤيتنا في خلق أيقونةٍ معمارية مستدامة".
وأضاف أن الاتفاق الجديد جاء استكمالاً للاتفاقيات التي تمّ عقدها مع شركة زها حديد للتصاميم المعمارية وشركة الفطيم كاريليون، إضافة إلى أنه يجسد الطريقة التي تتفاعل بها تلك الشركات وتتكامل في مجالاتهم التخصصية بغرض خلق مَعْلَم شركة "بيئة" للاستدامة البيئية، حيث تهدف الاستراتيجية الخاصة ببناء المقر الجديد إلى تطبيق أفضل الممارسات العالمية المُتبّعة وتشكيل تحالف مع الشركات الرائدة في هذا المجال لتحقيق نتائج استثنائية.
من جانبه قال السيد أنطونيو سيتيريو: "يشرفّنا جلب خبرتنا في مبادئ التصميم الداخلي إلى مشروع حضاري مثل مشروع مقر "بيئة"، حيث قمنا بتصميم العديد من المشاريع البارزة حول العالم، لكن هذا المشروع هو إضافةٌ فريدة لشركتنا، وسيكون المشروع في الوقت ذاته معلماً متألقاً ويعكس رئيتنا للاستدامة البيئية".
تجدر الإشارة إلى أنه سيتم تزويد المُجمّع الأيقوني الجديد لشركة "بيئة" بالطاقة من خلال مصادر طاقة المتجدّدة بنسبة 100%، وهو من تصميم الراحلة زها حديد المُصمّمة العالمية والحائزة على العديد من الجوائز. وسيكون المقر الجديد لشركة "بيئة" المَعْلَم الأول في دولة الإمارات الذي يتم تزويده بالطاقة المتجدّدة والذي يُتَوَقَّع له أن ينال شهادة الريادة في تصميمات البيئة والطاقة (LEED) – درجة البلاتين، وهو التصنيف الأعلى من بين معايير البنية المستدامة، وتَظْهرُ بوضوح مراعاته لمبادئ الاستدامة البيئية من خلال الإصدار شبه المعدوم للكربون والاستهلاك المنخفض للماء والاستخدام المُرَشَّد للمواد خلال عملية التشييد.
