Dubai – Cairo/ 19 Novemeber 2017: - Eventtus announces a new investment
round of 2 mil. USD led by Algebra Ventures and 500 Startups. This brings the
total capital raised by the company to 2.65 mil. USD in less than 2 years.
Previous investors include Raed Ventures and MEVP. The investment is among the
top 10 investments that have been in the MENA region in the past 6 months. This
comes in the context of the growth of the events industry and a clear mindset
of event organizers globally keen on integrating digital apps and features for
enhancing the event experience for participants.
The investment will allow Eventtus to accelerate its
expansion in the Middle East and introduce new products to also compete on a
global scale. The company’s roadmap focuses on developing new platform features
for optimizing the outcomes of all event stakeholders. New features range from
making the lead generation process more efficient for exhibitors to
diversifying the revenue generation options for organizers. Also, Eventtus is
on course to launch its’ new AI module that will enable participants to
identify the best people to connect to at each event based on a machine
learning algorithm that understands their business goals better and better with
each interaction.
Eventtus has been working on technologies such as social
media integration, personalization or real-time intelligence, and has seen an
impact in the engagement rates of attendees and an increase in the longevity of
event series. In this context, features such as the customized event agenda,
the event sharing feed or the real-time polls that Eventtus launched in the
past 18 months have proven to be an anticipation of the attendees’ and
organizers’ newly-discovered expectations. Thus, events served by Eventtus have
seen an increase in the engagement rate of attendees of up to 91%.
This is the fourth investment made this year by Algebra
Ventures - a VC fund backed by CISCO, EBRD, and IFC. “Our investment in
Eventtus is premised on the technological disruption that is happening globally

حصولها على مليوني دولار تمويل بقيادة صندوق استثمار Algebra
Ventures وشركة 500 Startups
وبذلك يصل إجمالي التمويل الذي حصلت عليه من الشركة
إلى 2.65 مليون دولار في أقل من سنتين. وتشمل قائمة المستثمرين السابقين
"رائد فينتشورز" و"MEVP". ويعتبر هذا
الاستثمار من بين أكبر 10 استثمارات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا خلال
الأشهر الستة الماضية. ويأتي هذا التمويل في سياق نمو صناعة المؤتمرات وتزايد
احتياج السوق لدمج التطبيقات الرقمية وتعزيز التجربة والمميزات التي يحصل عليها
المشاركون في الحدث.
وسيسمح هذا الاستثمار لشركة إيڤنتوس بتسريع توسعها في
منطقة الشرق الأوسط وإدخال منتجات جديدة للتنافس على نطاق عالمي. وتركز خارطة طريق
الشركة على تطوير مميزات منصة جديدة لتحسين تجربة جميع المشاركين في المؤتمرات.
وتتراوح المميزات الجديدة من جعل عملية خلق الفرص أكثر كفاءة للمنظمين لتنويع مصادر
الإيرادات لهم. كما تعمل إيڤنتوس على إطلاق "وحدة الذكاء الاصطناعي والتي من
شأنها تمكين المشاركين من تحديد أفضل المستهدفين بالاتصال بالنسبة لكل حدث، على
أساس خوارزمية تعلم آلي يتزايد فهمها لأهداف أعمالهم ويتحسن مع كل تفاعل.
وقد اختبرت إيڤنتوس تقنيات مثل التكامل مع وسائل الإعلام
الاجتماعية، وتفعيل التخصيص والتحليلات في الزمن الحقيقي، وهي تشهد انعكاس ذلك في تزايد معدلات التفاعل من قبل
المشاركين في الحدث، وكذلك تكرار سلسلة تننظيمه.
وفي هذا السياق، أثبتت بعض المميزات مثل جدول أعمال المؤتمر المخصص أو مشاركة الأحداث
أو استطلاعات الرأي التي أجرتها إيڤنتوس في الأشهر الـ 18 الماضية أنها محل
لتوقعات الحضور والمنظمين. وهكذا، شهدت المؤتمرات التي نظمتها إيڤنتوس زيادة في
نسبة التفاعل فيما بين المشاركين تصل إلى 91٪.
وتعتبر هذه الجولة من التمويل هي الاستثمار الرابع
الذي قام به صندوق استثمار Algebra Ventures، وهو صندوق رأس المال
استثماري تدعمه سيسكو والبنك الأوروبي للإنشاء والتعمير، ومؤسسة التمويل الدولية.
