UAE, November 30, 2016 – Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has reaffirmed its commitment, loyalty and allegiance to the UAE’s wise leadership amidst the country’s 45th National Day celebrations marked by great pride and a strong sense of national identity and belonging. During HBMSU commemoration, the UAE flag was hoisted while the national anthem was being played in the background. The ceremony was also an opportunity for participating faculty members, administrators, and learners to reiterate their commitment to the vision of the country’s founding fathers to build a nation based on justice, equality, openness, understanding, and co-existence.
HBMSU Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Al Awar took pride for being part of the UAE’s 45th National Day commemorations which he described as a demonstration of the Arab state’s rich history and achievements. Dr. Al Awar added that the Emirates’ foundation has provided the world with an exemplary model of a successful unitary state in the modern Arab World. He further confirmed HBMSU’s commitment to the wise leadership that has always been proactive in human capacity development and nation building efforts according to the UAE’s traditional values and goal of bringing happiness to its people.
“Celebrating National Day is a historic moment for all UAE citizens and residents who have shown great love for country first instilled in us by the late Sheikh Zayed and the late Sheikh Rashid. They planted the seeds for the union’s development and progress and their vision of a bright future for the country remains under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. As we celebrate four and half decades of our nation’s establishment, we reaffirm our commitment to stand united with our leaders in their efforts to position the UAE as the number one country in the world. We are armed with determination and passion to conquer the impossible in the name of love for our country, trust for our leadership, and belief in our capabilities,” Dr. Al Awar concluded.

الإمارات، 30 نوفمبر2016 – جدّدت "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية" عهد الوفاء والولاء للقيادة الرشيدة وسط مشاعر غامرة بالفخر والاعتزاز بالانتماء لأرض الإمارات، وذلك على هامش الاحتفال بالذكرى الخامسة والأربعين لتأسيس الاتحاد. وشهدت احتفالات اليوم الوطني رفع العلم الإماراتي على أنغام النشيد الوطني، بمشاركة أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والإدارية والدارسين الذين أكّدوا العزم على المضي قدماً على درب الاتحاد الذي خطه المؤسسون الأوائل "رحمهم الله" لبناء دولة قوية قائمة على قيم العدل والمساواة والانفتاح والتفاهم والتعايش السلمي.
وأعرب الدكتور منصور العور، رئيس "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الذكية"، عن فخره واعتزازه بإحياء العيد الخامس والأربعين لدولة الإمارات في يوم وصفه بأنه من الأيام المشهودة على امتداد الوطن، كونه شكّل مقدمة النجاحات وبداية البدايات والانطلاقة القوية للاتحاد، الذي وضع حجر الأساس لدولةٍ قدمت للعالم المثال الوحدوي الأوحد الناجح في العصر العربي الحديث، مؤكداً الالتفاف حول قيادةٍ حكيمة لطالما كانت سبّاقة في طرح رؤى استشرافية انبثقت عنها تجربة ريادية هي الأولى من نوعها في بناء الدولة والإنسان، استناداً إلى قيم خالدة وغاية نبيلة في تحقيق رفعة الوطن وإسعاد الشعب.
وأضاف العور: "إنّ الاحتفاء باليوم الوطني ليس مناسبة عابرة، وإنما هو إحياء للحظة تاريخية محفورة في وجدان كل من تشرّب حب الإمارات، الذي غرسه فينا المغفور لهما الشيخ زايد والشيخ راشد "رحمهما الله"، عندما زرعا بذرة الاتحاد لتتحول إلى شجرة وارفة بظلال العطاء والنهضة والنماء، في ظل القيادة الرشيدة والرؤية الثاقبة لسيدي صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس الدولة "حفظه الله"، وسيدي صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله". ولا يسعنا، ونحن نحتفي بأربعة عقود ونيّف على انطلاقة وطننا نحو علياء المجد، سوى أن نؤكد التزامنا بالوقوف صفاً واحداً تحت رايته الشمّاء لمواصلة مسيرة التميز والريادة وصولاً بالإمارات إلى المركز الأول عالمياً، متسلحين بالعزيمة والإصرار على قهر المستحيل، حباً ببلدنا وثقةً بقيادتنا وإيماناً بقدراتنا."
