The upcoming hotel project located in the thriving district of Jumeirah Village Triangle recognised for its innovative design at the 2016-17 Africa & Arabia Property Awards
Dubai,United Arab Emirates, 26 September, 2016: (ME NewsWire) Millennium Place JVT Dubai, one of the latest hotel projects from leading Dubai-based property developer The First Group, has received a Highly Commended Award in the Best New Hotel Design & Construction category at the 2016-17 Africa & Arabia Property Awards.
The property eclipsed a host of high-profile rivals to receive the honour, which was judged by an esteemed panel of more than 70 internationally recognised architectural and design experts.
The objective of the awards is to acknowledge excellence in the property industry worldwide and to promote the highest international standards for construction and design.
The striking 34-storey glass-clad Millennium Place JVT Dubai, which is scheduled to open in 2019 and will be managed by Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is The First Group’s fourth hotel property currently under development in Dubai, with other projects located in Dubai Marina, Business Bay and Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).
The First Group’s hotel portfolio also includes the prestigious Wyndham Dubai Marina, which is managed by the world’s largest hotel operator, Wyndham Hotels Group.
The awards recognition follows the recent appointment of Indian Test cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar as The First Group’s newest ambassador. Gavaskar, who is widely recognised as one of the greatest opening batsmen in cricket history, is also an investor in Millennium Place JVT Dubai.
The 599-room hotel will be situated in a prime location in the heart of one of Dubai’s most sought-after commercial and residential communities, close to several major landmarks and attractions.
Millennium Place JVT Dubai has been designed with business and leisure guests in mind, with stand-out facilities including two specialty restaurants, a spa, business centre, and a luxurious rooftop clubhouse with swimming pool, gym, steam rooms and a sundeck.
The First Group was officially presented with the award at a gala dinner presentation held in conjunction with the IPAX Africa & Arabia exhibition in Dubai on 22nd September.

وتفوق المشروع العقاري على مجموعة من المنافسين البارزين ليتم تكريمه إثر ذلك من قبل لجنة تحكيم مرموقة مكونة من أكثر من 70 خبيراً معروفين دولياً بمجال التصميم والعمارة.
ويكمن هدف هذه الجوائز في تكريم التميز في قطاع العقارات حول العالم والترويج لأعلى المعايير العالمية في البناء والتصميم.
وستقوم مجموعة فنادق ومنتجعات "ميلينيوم" بإدارة الفندق الرائع "ميلينيوم بلايس" في قرية جميرا تراينجل بدبي، ذي الواجهات الزجاجية والمؤلف من 34 طابقاً والمقرر افتتاحه عام 2019. وهو يعتبر الفندق الرابع الذي تطوره شركة The First Group حالياً في دبي، حيث تقع المشاريع الأخرى التابعة للشركة في كل من دبي مارينا والخليج التجاري وقرية جميرا سيركل.
وتتضمن حافظة شركة The First Group أيضاً فندق "ويندهام دبي مارينا" الفاخر، الذي تديره مجموعة فنادق ويندهام كبرى شركات إدارة الفنادق في العالم.
وجاء هذا التكريم عقب تعيين أسطورة الكريكيت الهندي سونيل جافاسكار كأحدث سفير للعلامة التجارية لشركة The First Group، ويعد جافاسكار أحد أعظم حاملي المضرب الذين يفتتحون المباريات في تاريخ رياضة الكريكيت، إلى جانب كونه من المستثمرين في فندق "ميلينيوم بلايس" في قرية جميرا تراينجل بدبي.
وسيقع الفندق المكون من 599 غرفة في موقع رئيسي في قلب واحدة من أكثر المناطق التجارية والسكنية المرغوبة في دبي، وبالقرب من عدد من المعالم وأماكن جذب الزوار والسكان بالمدينة.
وجرى تصميم فندق "ميلينيوم بلايس" في قرية جميرا تراينجل بدبي مع الأخذ بالاعتبار الضيوف من رجال الأعمال والسياح على حد سواء، وهو يشتمل على مرافق متميزة تضم مطعمين متخصصين، ومنتجع صحي، ومركز أعمال، ونادي فاخر على سطح المبنى يضم بركة سباحة وصالة ألعاب رياضية وغرف بخار وتراس مكشوف للحمامات الشمسية.
وجرى تقديم الجائزة رسمياً إلى شركة The First Group خلال حفل عشاء فاخر أقيم بالتزامن مع معرض"آيباكس أفريكا آند أرابيا" في دبي يوم 22 سبتمبر الجاري.
وقال داني لوبرت، رئيس مجلس الإدارة المشترك لشركة The First Group في سياق تعليقه: "إنه لشرف كبير لنا أن نتسلم هذه الجائزة نيابة عن كل من ساهم في تطوير فندق ’ميلينيوم بلايس‘ في قرية جميرا تراينجل بدبي والذي تم تصميمه ليرفع من سقف معايير قطاع الضيافة في منطقة قرية جميرا سيركل المزدهرة".
