A photographic exhibition, “Indelible” by photographer Randa Shaath, organized by The Photographic Gallery at The American University in Cairo (AUC).
The exhibition is Shaath’s work of the last two years where she takes her camera inside the homes of family and friends and acknowledges ordinary and familiar objects, moments, and spaces that we often overlook, granting them a grace that evokes the people that breathe life into them asking the question “when does one feel at home?”

She is currently teaching photography at AUC. She was the Photo editor of Al-Shorouk daily newspaper in Egypt from 2008 till April 2014. She has also worked as a photographer and graphic designer for children’s books, photographer for Al-Ahram Weekly from 1994-2005 and served on the editorial board of Zawaya an arts and culture magazine.
