UK teenager yesterday met Lewis Hamilton and will watch today’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix action live
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, 29 November, 2015: A
teenager will have his wish come true when he watches the action unfold
at today’s 2015 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.
Joshua Robinson, a
fifteen-year-old from County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is a life-long
motorsport fan, but has been unable to attend races because he suffers
from several conditions including spina bifida that have confined him to
a wheelchair.
Knowing that Joshua
always wanted to visit the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, his parents contacted
the Starlight Children’s Foundation, an Australia-based organisation
that grants a once-in-a-lifetime wishes for seriously ill children and
their families
Now Joshua and his
parents are in Abu Dhabi for a weekend of thrilling F1 action, and he
has already met Lewis Hamilton at Yas Marina Circuit.
