Senior personnel to host pre-conference workshop and serve keynote speakers in two sessions
UAE, 29 November 2015 – DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) is set to participate in the 2015 edition of Operational Excellence in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals OpEx MENA conference, which will be held from December 6th to 8th, 2015, at the Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel, in Abu Dhabi. OpEx MENA is a highly anticipated event that promotes Operational Excellence and provides an ideal networking platform for producers, solution providers, technology companies and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) specialists to exchange market news and state-of-the-art technology in order to effectively enhance operating systems of organizations.
This year’s OpEx MENA features a range of new activities including a special pre-conference workshop organized and developed by DuPont who is a sponsor for the event. Entitled ‘Extracting Maximum Value from Assets and Operations: An Industry Imperative,’ the workshop will discuss how companies can leverage operational excellence and strengthen integrity to drive profitability within a dynamic and ever-evolving sector. The workshop will be led by regional Solutions Architects Franco Polli from DSS UAE, and Marc Hoppenbrouwers, Senior Solutions Architect, from DSS the Netherlands.
Polli said, “This conference has always provided an ideal venue for Oil, Gas, and Petrochemicals producers to discuss Operational Excellence, which is a top priority for companies in the sector. We have organized a pre-conference workshop that will review the key elements and best practices of optimized asset management systems to support companies get prepared to face the market in light of the declining oil prices and increased attention towards loss prevention, risk management, yield increases and cash releases. OpEx will commence with a welcome reception that will allow the delegates to interact in a relaxed atmosphere. Badar Alam, Global Solutions Architect Leader, and Franco Polli, OpEx Senior Solution Architect, from DSS, will both be actively participating in the event as key note speakers. They will deliver strategic presentations and share valuable insights regarding key issues facing the sector. Alam will be speaking on how operational improvements contribute to the bottom line and enumerate means of implementing operational excellence effectively, while Polli will head the discussion on Asset Optimization and Productivity.
OpEx was launched in 2013 and is now on its third year. The event has garnered the attendance and participation of distinguished companies who are leading influencers in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
