Leading UAE developer voted tops in hotel, architecture, retail, residential categories for its RAK portfolio
Al Hamra Real Estate Development (AHRED), was recognised at the Arabian Property Awards 2015, during a glittering gala ceremony at the JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai on 12th November, where Ras Al Khaimah’s largest developer, picked up no less than six awards for its current real estate portfolio.
“To be recognised in six separate categories, for our innovative architecture, use of technology, sustainable design and environmentally friendly masterplan, is testimony of Al Hamra’s capabilities to design and deliver innovative projects. It clearly demonstrates our commitment to developing world-class communities that continually raise the bar in terms of design and function,” said Barry Ebrahimy, Head of Commercial, Al Hamra Real Estate Development.
The prestigious ‘Hotel Architecture’ category was awarded to the five-star luxury, beach-front Waldorf Astoria Hotel, which will now compete on the global stage in London where the World’s Best international winners will be revealed.
The top award for the ‘Mixed-Use Architecture’ category was bestowed upon Al Hamra’s flagship development, the one billion dollar Falcon Island project, located next to Waldorf Astoria. Launched in 2014 and due for handover in 2017, the 2.2 million-square-foot island project is located within the natural lagoon that forms part of the Al Hamra Village complex and comprises a collection of just 150 luxurious five to eight-bedroom Canal, Beach and Park residences.
The Falcon Island win was closely followed by a ‘Retail Architecture’ category award for its Manar Mall, shopping complex, which is currently under an impressive renovation and expansion plan. Next in line were two awards for its popular Al Hamra Village community, which bagged the ‘Architecture Multiple Residence’ and ‘Golf Development’ categories.
The final award was given to Royal Breeze Residence which scooped the ‘Residential High-Rise Development’ category award. The development offers a shoreline lifestyle spread across five residential towers with apartments and penthouses offering 42 up to 670-square metres of space, complemented by stunning Arabian Gulf or scenic golf course views.

The Arabian Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades in the residential and commercial property industries. Following a stringent judging process, held in London, involving a panel of 80 international experts and presided over by two members of the UK House of Lords, Al Hamra was rewarded with the most significant building projects in the region.
Commenting on the quality of entries, which came from 12 countries across the region, Stuart Shield, President of the International Property Awards, said: “Once again, Arabian developers have excelled in this competition by entering a select number of simply stunning developments. These projects are architecturally innovative, aesthetically beautiful, highly functional, eco-friendly and feature state-of-the-art technology.”
Following its Arabia Property Awards success, AHRED will have the opportunity to compete against other winning entries from Africa, Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, USA, Central & South America, the UK and Asia Pacific to find the ultimate World’s Best in each award category in the 2015/6 International Property Awards.
الحمرا للتطوير العقاري تحصد ست جوائز من الجوائز العقارية العربية 2015
فازت شركة الحمراء للتطوير العقاري التي تعد واحدة من أكبر شركات التطوير العقاري في رأس الخيمة بما لا يقل عن ست جوائز عن محفظتها العقارية الحالية من جوائز العقارات العربية 2015 التي أقيمت في فندق جي دبليو ماريوت ماركيز بدبي يوم 12 نوفمبر الحالي.
وقال باري ابراهيمي المدير التجاري في شركة الحمراء للتطوير العقاري:" ان الفوز بست فئات مختلفة عن الابتكار المعماري واستخدام التكنولوجيا والتصميم المستدام والجماليات المراعية للبيئة هو شهادة لقدرات شركة الحمرا في تصميم وتنفيذ المشاريع المبتكرة. كما وان هذا الإنجاز إن دل على شيء فإنما يدل على التزامنا بتطوير تجمعات عالمية المستوى ترفع باستمرار المستوى النوعي من ناحية التصميم والوظيفة".
وذهبت الجائزة الكبرى لفئة "التصميم المعماري المختلط الاستخدام" الى مشروع الحمراء الريادي متمثلا بمشروع جزيرة الصقر، والذي يقع بجوار الدورف أستوريا، وتبلغ تكلفته مليار دولار الذي أطلق عام 2014 ومن المقرر إنجازه عام 2017. ويقع مشروع الجزيرة الذي تبلغ مساحتها 2.2 مليون قدم مربعة في بحيرة طبيعية تشكل جزءا من مجمع قرية الحمرا وتتضمن تشكيلة من 150 منزلا فخما تتألف من خمس الى ثمان غرفة نوم تنقسم الى منازل القنال والشاطئ والمنتزه.
ومنحت فئة "التصميم المعماري الفندقي" المرموقة لفندق والدارف استوريا الفخم فئة خمس نجوم المطل على البحر"، والتي ستتنافس الآن على الساحة العالمية في لندن حيث سيتم الكشف عن أفضل الفائزين في العالم، بينما فاز مجمع مركز تسوق المنار بفئة "تصميم التجزئة" وهو حاليا يخضع للتجديد والتوسيع من خلال خطة مثيرة للإعجاب. ثم تبع ذلك جائزتين لمجمع قرية الحمرا عن فئة "السكن المعماري المتعدد" وفئة "مشروع الجولف".
وذهبت الجائزة الأخيرة الى "رويال بريز ريزيدانس" الذي حصد الجائزة عن فئة " مشروع البرج السكني". ويوفر هذا المشروع نمط حياة مطل على البحر عبر خمسة أبراج سكنية مكونة من شقق وبنتهاوسات تتراوح مساحتها بين 42 متر مربع و670 متر مربع مطلة إما على الخليج العربي او ملعب الجولف بحدائقه الغنّاء.
وقال ابراهيمي:" ان القيمة الاستثنائية مقابل المال والزيادات المستدامة في الإيجارات والبناء الممتاز والتجهيزات النوعية هي حجر الزاوية في خدمات الحمرا. أننا لا نقدم لمالكي المنازل بيئة جميلة وملائمة للأسرة وحسب بل نعتبر خيارا رائجا لدى المستثمرين بامتلاكنا مجموعة واسعة من الفرص عبر نطاق محفظتنا العقارية".
وتعتبر الجوائز العقارية العربية جزء من الجوائز العقارية العالمية العريقة التي توصف بأنها من أرقى الامتيازات في قطاعي العقارات السكنية والتجارية. وفي اعقاب عملية تحكيم صارمة في لندن تجريها لجنة مكونة من 80 خبير دولي ويترأسها عضوان في مجلس اللوردات البريطاني، فازت الحمرا بجوائز افضل مشاريع البناء في المنطقة.
وفي تعليقه على جودة المشاركات التي جاءت من 12 بلدا في المنطقة، قال ستيوارت شيلد رئيس الجوائز العقارية الدولية: "مرة أخرى تميزت شركات التطوير العربية في هذه المنافسة بالمشاركة بعدد محدود من المشروعات التي لا يمكن وصفها الا بأنها مدهشة. فهذه المشاريع تتمتع بالابتكار المعماري والجمال الهندسي والمرونة العملية العالية ومراعاة البيئة والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة".
وبعد هذا النجاح في الجوائز العقارية العربية ستتاح لشركة الحمرا للتطوير العقاري للتنافس ضد الاعمال الفائزة الأخرى من افريقيا وأوروبا وكندا والكاريبي والولايات المتحدة الامريكية وامريكا الوسطى والجنوبية والمملكة المتحدة واسيا الباسيفيكي لتحديد المشروع الأفضل في العالم في كل فئة من فئات الجوائز في الجوائز العقارية العالمية 2015/2016.
