The Committee of the Minister of Interior’s Scientific Research Award has received 288 applications to participate. The topics applied for the Second Edition of the Minister of Interior’s Award for Scientific Research cover various police and social sciences. The 324 arbitrators of specialized professors and academics were nominated from 25 university and educational entities from the UAE and abroad.
The Award’s Board of Trustees emphasized the importance of participating in the distinguished applied research of the Minister of Interior’s Scientific Research Award, which includes both local and international awards. In order to promote and exchange expertise, the Board recommended entering into partnerships with universities and scientific research entities both within and outside of the UAE.
The Board previously held a meeting in Abu Dhabi which was chaired by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees. The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Abdul Quddous Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Director General of Total Quality at Dubai Police; and Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau. Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi and Dr. Husam Sultan Al Ulama, members of the Award’s Board of Trustees, also attended the meeting.
Major General Al Nuaimi noted that the subjects of the applied research cover a number of research fields including: Management and Organizational Excellence, Security and Police Work, Social Issues, Law, and Applied Sciences.
He also praised the efforts that have been exerted in the process of achieving the desired goals of the Award, which include establishing an institutional structure to support security research and studies, upgrading security work, and consolidating scientific research as an essential tool for building a knowledge base that suits all modern sciences and has various applications in the fields of security.
During the meeting Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau, Head of the Executive Committee of the Minister of Interior’s Scientific Research Award, and member of the Award’s Board of Trustees, reviewed the report and achievements of the Chairman of the Executive Committee at the Award’s Secretariat.. He also provided benchmarking statistics from the First Edition of the Award. The Award’s Board of Trustees also reviewed a list of nominated arbitrators for the Second Edition of the Award. Additionally, they discussed the issue concerning accepting applications after the application deadline and the compensation for the arbitrators alongside other measure taken for the current cycle of the Awards.

تلقت لجنة جائزة وزير الداخلية للبحث العلمي 288 مشاركة، موزعة على بحوث متنوعة في العلوم الشرطية والاجتماعية؛ وغيرها ضمن الأبحاث المقدمة للمشاركة في الدورة الثانية لجائزة وزير الداخلية للبحث العلمي، وتضمنت قائمة المحكمين 324 من الأساتذة والأكاديميين المتخصصين، تم ترشيحهم من 25 جامعة ووجهة علمية وأكاديمية من الدولة وخارجها.
وأوصى مجلس أمناء جائزة وزير الداخلية للبحث العلمي، بأهمية مشاركة الأبحاث المتميزة في جائزة وزير الداخلية للبحث العلمي بالجوائز المحلية والدولية، وعقد الشراكات مع الجامعات وهيئات البحث العلمي في الدولة وخارجها؛ تعزيزاً لتبادل الخبرات.
وكان المجلس عقد اجتماعاً في أبوظبي؛ برئاسة اللواء الدكتور ناصر لخريباني النعيمي، الأمين العام لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية؛ رئيس المجلس،بحضور أعضاء مجلس أمناء الجائزة اللواء الدكتور عبد القدوس عبد الرزاق العبيدلي، مساعد القائد العام لشرطة دبي لشؤون الجودة والتميز، والعقيد الدكتور صلاح عبيد الغول مدير مكتب ثقافة واحترام القانون بوزارة الداخلية، وكل من الدكتور مطر حامد النيادي ، والدكتور حسام سلطان العلماء أعضاء مجلس امناء الجائزة.
وذكر الأمين العام أن الأبحاث المقدمة للجائزة اشتملت على عدد من المجالات البحثية أهمها، مجالات الإدارة والتميز المؤسسي، والأمن والعمل الشرطي، والمشكلات المجتمعية، ومجالات القانون والعلوم التطبيقية.
وأشاد بالجهود المبذولة لتحقيق الهدف المنشود من الجائزة لإنشاء منظومة مؤسسية لدعم البحث وتشجيع الدراسات الأمنية، والارتقاء بالعمل الشرطي في المجالات كافة، وترسيخ البحث العلمي كأداة أساسية لبناء قاعدة معرفية قادرة على استيعاب العلوم الحديثة، وتطبيقاتها المتعددة في المجال الأمني.
وعرض العقيد الدكتور صلاح الغول مدير مكتب ثقافة واحترام القانون، رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لجائزة وزير الداخلية للبحث العلمي، عضو مجلس أمناء الجائزة خلال الاجتماع، تقرير رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لسكرتارية الجائزة وإنجازاته، وإحصاءات الدورة الثانية للجائزة مقارنة بالدورة الأولى، كما تم عرض قائمة المحكمين المرشحين لتحكيم الأبحاث المشاركة في الدورة الثانية لاعتمادها من قبل المجلس، وموضوع طلبات المشاركة الواردة بعد غلق باب تسلم الأبحاث، واعتماد مكافآت المحكمين. وناقش المجلس الإجراءات المتخذة بالنسبة للدورة الحالية.
