- Investment in Lyft represents investment in the sharing economy -
TOKYO, 12 March, 2015 -- (BUSINESS WIRE/ME NewsWire) -- Rakuten, Inc. (TOKYO:4755) today announced that it has agreed to purchase a 11.9% stake in Lyft, the San Francisco-based ride-sharing service provider and sharing economy pioneer. Rakuten is investing $300M as the lead investor in Lyft’s series E investment round.

طوكيو, 12 مارس 2015– (بزنيس واير/ميدل ايست نيوز واير): أعلنت اليوم شركة "راكوتين" (المدرجة في بورصة طوكيو تحت الرمز: TOKYO:4755) أنها وافقت على شراء حصة تصل إلى 11.9 في المائة من شركة "ليفت"، مزودة خدمة النقل المشترك ورائدة اقتصاد المشاركة التي تتخذ من سان فرانسيسكو مقراً لها. وتستثمر "راكوتين" 300 مليون دولار أمريكي كونها المستثمر الرئيسي في السلسلة "إي" من جولات "ليفت" الاستثمارية.
