Anti-bacterial properties of key ingredient ‘miswak’ help ensure overall oral health
Dubai, UAE, March 8, 2015 – Dabur International, one of the most trusted and recognized personal and healthcare companies in the world, has launched its new alcohol-free Dabur Miswak Mouthwash packed with powerful natural ingredients to help ensure strong teeth and gums. The new mouthwash is a natural cleanser that effectively fights plaque and gum disease, prevents tooth decay and toothaches, and eliminates bad breath.
The oral rinse’s key ingredient is ‘miswak,’ an effective teeth-cleaning twig used by Arabs since ancient times. Miswak comes from the Salvadora persica tree (‘Arak’ in Arabic) popularly known as the ‘Toothbrush Tree.’ Believed to be the purest form of dental cleansing, the use of miswak has been proven to be effective in fighting germs due to its anti-bacterial properties.

Germ Kill and Mint Fresh, which are packed with powerful natural ingredients, are the two Dabur Miswak Mouthwash’s variants. Germ Kill, in addition to containing Miswak is also fortified with fennel to prevent and kill bacteria-causing germs. Germ Kill fights plaque, helps remove yellow stains, ensures strong and healthy gums, and provides fresh breath and thorough cleansing.
Mint Fresh, on the other hand, wards off plaque and yellow stains and promotes healthy gums through its effective natural ingredients such as peppermint oil that ensures deep cleansing of the mouth and mint and menthol flakes that bring intense fresh breath.
