An impressive inauguration event for Sofitel Dubai Downtown

Sofitel Luxury Hotels officially launches the flagship, city property Sofitel Dubai Downtown after opening on the 1st of May, 2014 (9th November 2014 - Dubai) The 4th of November marks a historical milestone in the portfolio of Sofitel Luxury Hotels with the official grand launch of the region’s flagship city hotel, Sofitel Dubai Downtown. The evening was hosted by His Highness Sheikh Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan represented by His Excellency Hamad Bin Ali Al Darmaki, Chairman of Tanmeya Abu Dhabi, Owner of Sofitel Dubai Downtown and esteemed Sebastien Bazin, CEO and Chairman of Accor Group; who welcomed over one thousand revered regional and international guests, dignitaries and VIP’s. Sofitel is a brand that connects cultures, locations and landmarks. During the opening of the property, Klaus Assmann, General Manager, has stated that with Sofitel Dubai Downtown comes a piece of France to Dubai. Last night it was all about Dubai welcomes Paris, two cities that are linked through two famous towers; the Eiffel tower for Paris and Burj Khalifa for Dubai. Everything around the hotel was especially created to bring out a sense of Paris. From the hotel’s main entrance which was transformed into a Parisian street, to the lobby with its ‘street artists’ to the pool with the Eiffel Tower. All this unique scenery with the backdrop of the breathtaking Burj Khalifa.The finest selections of French and Arabic culinary delights were offered while performers where in the stage and around the guests. The event closed with fireworks and an after party at the hotel’s new rooftop lounge, “Above”.  “We are extremely proud of our Hotel’s performance during its first six months of operation. Our team has worked with passion and dedication to excellence and we welcome you all to discover Sofitel Dubai Downtown” stated Klaus Assmann, General Manager of the hotel. “We look towards our future with the certainty that we will become one of the leading hotels not only within Dubai and the UAE but as well as the region.” حفل افتتاح رائع لفندق سوفيتل داون تاون دبي سلسلة فنادق سوفيتل الفخمة تحتفل رسمياً بأول فندق لها في دبي داون تاون بعد افتتاحه بتاريخ الأول من مايو 2014 دبي، 9 نوفبر 2014 يعتبر تاريخ الرابع من نوفمبر لحظة تاريخية بالنسبة لسلسلة فنادق سوفيتل الفخمة مع الافتتاح الرسمي المهيب لأحد فنادقه الأولى في المنطقة، وهو سوفتيل دبي داون تاون. حضر الحفل ممثل سمو الشيخ سعيد بن زايد آل نهيان معالي حمد بن علي الدرمكي، رئيس مجلس إدارة تنمية في أبوظبي، والذي يملك فندق سوفيتل دبي داون تاون، بالإضافة إلى حضور السيد سباستيان بازين، المدير التنفيذي ورئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة اكور، حيث رحبا بشخصيات بارزة ومهمة زادت على ألف من الضيوف الذين قدموا من دول المنطقة ودول عالمية أخرى. سوفيتل هو اسم يربط بين الثقافات والأماكن والمعالم المميزة. خلال افتتاح الحفل، استهل السيد كلاوس آسمان، المدير العام للفندق خطابه قائلاً " يعتبر فندق سوفيتل بمثابة انتقالة جغرافية لجزء فاخر من فرنسا إلى دبي. وإن ليلة الافتتاح كانت تجسد مدى ترحيب دبي لباريس، المدينتان اللتان تضمان أشهر برجين في العالم، برج إيفل في باريس وبرج خليفة في دبي. تم تصميم كل شيء حول الفندق بطريقة مميزة تعكس روحية وجمال مدينة باريس. فما بين المدخل الرئيسي للفندق والذي تحول إلى أحد الشوارع الباريسية، إلى اللوبي الذي ضم "الرسامين المتجولين في الشوارع" إلى منطقة المسبح التي ضمت تمثال برج إيفل. وبدا برج خليفة، هذا الصرح الشامخ، واضحاً خلف هذا المشهد الباريسي الرائع. وتم تقديم تشكيلة من أفخر أنواع المأكولات الشهية التي يشتهر بها المطبخ الفرنسي والعربي على حدٍ سواء، بينما كانت العروض الفنية تملأ منصة المسرح وتحيط بمنطقة الضيوف. تم اختتام الحفل بألعاب نارية وحفلة ما بعد الحدث في اللاونج الجديد الواقع في السطح العلوي، "أبوف". كما أضاف السيد كلاوس آسمان قائلاً: "نحن فخورون جداً بأداء الفندق خلال أول ستة شهور مضت. بذل خلالها فريق العمل لدينا كل ما لديه من شغف للوصول إلى درجة التميز، ونرحب بكم جميعاً لاكتشاف أروع التجارب في سوفيتل دبي داون تاون. ونتطلع إلى المستقبل بكل ثقة كي يكون الفندق من أحد الفنادق الرائدة ليس في دبي فحسب، بل في جميع أرجاء المنطقة."
