Awards included Retail
Distributor of the Year and PC Accessories: Retail Vendor of the Year
Abu
Dhabi, United Arab of Emirates (29 May 2014) – Genius Computer Technology (GCT),
one of the region’s leading distribution companies and solution providers in
the field of IT peripherals, and networking, has won two awards at this year’s
Middle East Retail Academy (MERA) 2014 Awards: Retail Distributor of the
Year and PC Accessories: Retail Vendor of the Year on behalf of
Genius.
Genius
won in the PC Accessories Retail vendor category of with 43% of the votes in a
line-up that included Belkin, Logitech, Microsoft, and Targus. GCT Distribution
won the Retail Distributor of the year with 33% winning votes ahead of Grand
Stores, ITE, Redington Lifestyle, and Trigon.
Milad
Jabbour, CEO at GCT, said, “We are delighted with this recognition from our
retail partners and owe them a big ‘thank you’ for the continued success and

nomination and ultimate win in the categories they were shortlisted. This
year’s shortlisting process in each of the vendor categories involved a
combination of continuous Middle East channel feedback over the past 12 months,
independent market data and input from a DISTREE Events selection committee.”
The
overall winner in each category was determined through a live electronic vote
at the ‘MERA: 2014 Awards’ Gala Dinner on May 21st at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr
in Abu Dhabi in conjunction with DISTREE Middle East 2014.

هذا العام خلال حفل توزيع جوائز أكاديمية التجزئة فى الشرق الاوسط 2014
أبوظبى، الامارات العربية المُتحدة ( 29 مايو 2014) - شركة GCT هى واحدة من الشركات الرائدة
فى مجال التوزيع و توفير الحلول فى مجال تقنية المعلومات و الذى يشمل مُلحقات و
طرفيات الحاسب الالى و الشبكات. وقد حصلت الشركة على جائزتين فى مُلتقى DISTREE الشرق الاوسط لعام 2014 و هم :

موزع للبيع بالتجزئة لعام 2014 (Retail Distributor of the Year)
2- شركة Genius : أفضل
مُصنَع لملحقات الحاسب لعام 2014 (PC Accessories: Retail Vendor of the
Year).
وقد حصلت Genius على
جائزة أفضل مُصنع لمُلحقات الحاسب الالى بنسبة تصويت بلغت 43% من مجموع أصوات
السادة الحضور حيث تفوقت على 4 مُرشحين أخرين و هم : Belkin و Logitech و Microsoft بالاضافة الى Targus.
بينما حصلت شركة
GCT على جائزة أفضل مُوزع للبيع
بالتجزئة بنسبة تصويت بلغت 33% كى تتفوق GCT على
المُنافسين المُشاركين فى التصويت و هم : Grand Stores و ITE و Redington
Lifestyle، بالاضافة الى شركة Trigon.
وفي لقاء مع السيد ميلاد جبور – المدير و الرئيس
التنفيذى لشركة GCT قال : " نحن سُعداء بهذا
