AVIAREPS CELEBRATES 20th ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW OFFICE OPENINGS IN KAZAKHSTAN & VLADIVOSTOK

(Berlin, 5 March 2014) AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation, hospitality and trade promotion representation, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2014 with the official opening of two new offices; one in Almaty Kazakhstan, and the other in Far-Eastern Russia in Vladivostok. The announcement was made in conjunction with the opening of the world’s largest travel and tourism exhibition - ITB Berlin, which opened today at the Messe Berlin and will continue until March 9th 2014.
Says Michael Gaebler, Chairman & CEO AVIAREPS Group: “The opening of an office in Almaty provides our international clients access to the bourgeoning and dynamic market of Kazakhstan, which is something exciting for all of us. Additionally, the opening of our office in Vladivostok makes it our fourth Russian office in addition to Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. Vladivostok’s opening allows us for the first time to provide a permanent sales and marketing presence in Russia’s Far East and was the result of increasing client demand for that region.” The new office openings bring AVIAREPS’ global network to a total of 48 spread across 39 countries. The next office opening to be scheduled for May 2014 will bring the number of countries with an AVIAREPS presence to 40, and will open as an acquisition in Myanmar. Says Gaebler: “Today we have over 600 AVIAREPS professionals around the world providing local knowledge, networks and expertise to ensure the continued success of our clients in each key market. As part of the AVIAREPS Agenda 2020 programme that we launched last year, we expect to reach a total of 50 offices before the end of 2014.”
