set to grow at 7.4% annually to US$244 bn in 2016
Leading international safety,
security and fire protection exhibition to focus on product launches, new
technologies
The 16th and largest ever
edition of Intersec, opened for business at the Dubai International Convention
and Exhibition Centre yesterday (Sunday, January 19th), with
organisers reporting a 22% growth in number of participating exhibitors.
Global demand for security
services is set to grow at 7.4% annually to US$244 billion in 2016.* According
to recent research by G4S, the growth rate in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi
Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman) is as high as 10%. With 1,210 companies
from 54 countries opting to showcase their products and services at Intersec, the
region’s premier international showcase for the safety, security and fire
protection industries, this robust response underlines the growing importance
of the Middle East region in the international marketplace.
Spread out across 9 halls,
Intersec 2014 got underway with a well-attended opening ceremony presided over
by chief guest HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. HH Sheikh
Mansoor later toured the exhibition extensively and was accompanied by senior
representatives from the government, with a particularly strong representation
from Dubai Police, Dubai Police Academy and UAE Civil Defence, along with
organiser, Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

Encompassing four key focus
areas: Commercial Security & Information Security; Safety & Health;
Fire & Rescue and Homeland Security & Policing, Intersec 2014 is attracting
a wide-representation of trade visitors from the safety, security and fire
protection industries from across the greater Middle East region. Some of the
hot topics expected to cause waves at the exhibition include: the integration
of surveillance, access control and all other security systems into one; PSIM
(Physical Security Information Management); Continuous migration from Analog to
IP (CCTV, data storage etc); and the launch of a new remote alarm system for
homes by Dubai Civil Defence.
The exhibition has attracted
participation from a large number of local and regional companies and record representation
from country pavilions and industry associations. A slew of product launches
are scheduled over the event’s three days as exhibitors compete for the
attention of the wide spread of trade visitors and buyers from the region and
beyond.

Taking
place tomorrow (Monday 20th January) as part of the series of conferences running
alongside Intersec is the Safety Design in Buildings Conference. Held under the
patronage of the Directorate General of Civil Defence – Dubai, the conference
will be opened by Lt. Col. Jamal Ahmed Ibrahim, Director of Preventive Safety
Department, Dubai Civil Defence.

افتتح سمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم معرض إنترسك 2014 في دورته السادسة
عشرة، صباح اليوم الأحد الموافق 19 يناير، بمركز دبي التجاري العالمي، الذي سيستمر
حتى يوم الثلاثاء، بمشاركة 1210 شركة ونمواً بنسبة 22% في عدد العارضين وأبرز
المشاركين لأكبر شركات الأمن في العالم من 54 دولة.
وحضر الافتتاح عدد من كبار الشخصيات والمسؤولين في شرطة دبي والدفاع المدني وسفير
بريطانيا وعدد من كبار المسؤولين في إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت الشركة الألمانية
العالمية المنظمة لمعرض إنترسك.
ومن المنتظر أن ينمو الطلب العالمي
على الخدمات الأمنية بنسبة 7.4 % سنويا ليصل إلى 244 مليار دولار في 2016*. وتشير الأبحاث
الصادرة عن G4S إلى أن نسبة النمو في الشرق الأوسط (الإمارات، السعودية، قطر، مصر،
الكويت، عمان) تصل إلى حوالي 10 %. يعد إنترسك، المعرض الدولي البارز لصناعات الأمن
والسلامة والوقاية من الحرائق في المنطق حيث يعكس هذا الإقبال القوي الأهمية
المتنامية التي تحظى بها منطقة الشرق الأوسط في السوق الدولي.
يقام المعرض في 9 قاعات وقد افتتح
المعرض سمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، كما قام سموه بجولة شاملة في
قاعات المعرض بصحبة كبار المسؤولين من الجهات الحكومية وكان هناك حضور قوي ولافت
لشرطة دبي وأكاديمية شرطة دبي والدفاع المدني الإماراتي إلى جانب مسؤولي الشركة
المنظمة إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت.
وخلال الافتتاح أوضح أحمد باولس
الرئيس التنفيذي في إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت قائلا: "لا تزال منطقة الشرق الأوسط
واحدة من أهم الأسواق وأكثرها إثارة لصناعات الأمن والسلامة والوقاية من الحرائق
وهو ما يظهر بوضوح من خلال معدلات نمو إنترسك. كانت المنطقة دائما ولا تزال
مستقبلا جيدا للأفكار والتقنيات الجديدة كما تتأكد هذه الحقيقة من خلال نجاح
العارضين الذين يستخدمون إنترسك كمنصة مميزة لإطلاق منتجاتهم.
وأضاف باولس: "تقدم دورة المعرض
الحالية تشكيلة أوسع من المنتجات والخدمات والتقنيات الحديثة مقارنة بالدورات
السابقة كما تتضمن برنامج مؤتمرات شامل يضيف الكثير إلى الفوائد التي يحرص المعرض
على توفيرها للمجتمع الإقليمي".
ينقسم المعرض إلى أربعة أقسام رئيسية
هي الأمن التجاري وأمن المعلومات، الصحة والسلامة، الحرائق والإنقاذ، والأمن
الوطني والشرطة ويشهد إنترسك 2014 إقبالا كبيرا من الزوار التجاريين في صناعات
الأمن والسلامة والوقاية من الحرائق من كافة أنحاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
ومن بين الموضوعات الهامة التي يُتوقع
أن تشهد مناقشات واسعة: دمج مراقبة الدخول وكافة النظم الأخرى في نظام واحد، PSIM (إدارة
المعلومات الأمنية المادية)، الانتقال الدائم من الأنظمة التناظرية إلى أنظمة الآي
بي IP (CCTV، تخزين البيانات الخ)، وإطلاق نظام جديد للتبليغ عن حرائق المنازل عن
بُعد والذي تطلق الدفاع المدني بدبي.
استقطب المعرض عددا كبيرا من الشركات
المحلية والإقليمية إضافة إلى تمثيل قياسي لأجنحة الدول وجمعيات الصناعة. ومن
المنتظر أن يشهد المعرض خلال أيامه الثلاثة إطلاق العديد من المنتجات حيث يتبارى
العارضون لجذب انتباه قطاع عريض من الزوار التجاريين والتجار من المنطقة وما
وراءها.
الراعي الرئيسي لمعرض إنترسك هو
"أركان لحلول الإدارة الأمنية"، وهي أحد أبرز موردي الحلول الأمنية
التجارية في الشرق الأوسط التابعة لمجموعة "إجاده" لإدارة الأصول. وأوضح
راشد بن ناصر، مدير العمليات في المجموعة قائلا: "نعمل في عدد من أكبر وأفخم
مشاريع التطوير في دبي وتوفر لنا المشاركة في إنترسك المنصة لاستعراض إمكانياتنا
لجميع أنواع الحاجات الأمنية التجارية للزوار والعارضين من حول العالم".

المدير الإقليمي في "بوش سكيورتي سيستمز ميدل إيست"، العارض البارز

وضمن برنامج مؤتمرات على هامش المعرض
يُقام غدا (الاثنين 20 يناير) مؤتمر السلامة في تصميم المباني تحت رعاية القيادة
العامة للدفاع المدني بدبي. يفتتح المؤتمر المقدم جمال أحمد إبراهيم، مدير إدارة
السلامة الوقائية في الإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني بدبي.
وقال روبرت أزيمي، مدير "إف إم
أبروفالس" الأمريكية: "يتميز المؤتمر بتركيز الكبير حيث يضم في منصة
واحدة قطاعا عريضا من المحترفين بما يتمتعون به من خبرات ودراية. كما يوفر المؤتمر
فرصا لتناول عدد من التحديات المباشرة التي نواجهها جميعا. لقد تطور القانون
الإماراتي لممارسة تأمين الأرواح والوقاية من الحرائق بشكل كبير بمرور السنين بفضل
القيادة العظيمة للقيادة العامة للدفاع المدني بدبي".
وفي حديثه عن حاجات سوق الأمن في
الشرق الأوسط أوضح "مايك ريان"، رئيس تايكو للمنتجات الأمنية قائلا:
"كما في العديد من الأسواق حول العالم تتراوح حاجات المستخدمين الأمنية في
الشرق الأوسط من أصغر الأعمال إلى المقار السكنية إلى الشركات الكبرى أو الشركات
الصناعية التي تتطلب أعلى مستوى الحماية".
تنظم ميسي فرانكفورت 11 حدثا وبذلك
تعد من أبرز المنظمين لمعارض مؤتمرات قطاع تقنية الأمن والسلامة الدولي المتنامي
