Cutting-edge design concepts in focus at Future Zone
Cutting-edge lighting designs, innovative new technologies and the latest in the world of luminaires crafted by some of the world’s leading lighting designers, will be on show at the inaugural Future Zone, part of the upcoming Light Middle East 2013, taking place in Dubai next week from Monday October 7th to Wednesday October 9th.
Designed to serve as an exclusive show window for the latest products, concepts and innovations that have the potential to transform the world of lighting design, the Future Zone will feature some of the industry’s most well known names.
“The Future Zone will provide lighting designers, industry professionals and trade buyers from the region an unmatched, up-close look at some of the design trends and technologies that can change the way the lighting world operates,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “Having already gained wide support in its inaugural season, the Future Zone will feature some highly interesting design concepts and innovations.”
Among those participating at the Future Zone include international lighting giants such as: GE Lighting, Osram, iGuzzini, LG, acdc, Trilux, Linea Light and ERCO.
GE Lighting is showcasing two of its path-breaking innovations at the Future Zone – the Lumination™ LED Linear and the ERS LED Scalable Street Lighting system.
The Lumination™ LED Linear is a thin and uniform illuminated lighting panel suspending from the ceiling, powered with Intrinsix™ technology to maximise the performance, control and efficiency of the LEDs within the fixture. When turned on, it produces a perfectly even glow, and while off, it is nearly transparent with the LEDs hidden inside the frame. The double asymmetric distribution provides glare free, vertical and horizontal illuminance, an ideal solution for retail settings and a wide range of other projects.
The award-winning ERS LED Scalable Street Lighting range of luminaires is an energy-efficient roadway lighting system. This system meets a wide range of applications, including highways, streets, boulevards and walking areas, and has won a Best-in-Class designation in the “Roadway Lighting” category in the 2012 Next Generation Luminaires™ (NGL) Solid-State Lighting Design Competition.

iGuzzini will present the innovative Laser Blade, the first indoor linear LED recessed fitting with a circular light emission. The Laser Blade has won several awards such as the “interior luminaire of the year” at Lux Awards 2012 and the iF Design Awards in 2013. Despite its extremely compact dimensions, Laser Blade guarantees high output and the special shape of the optics gives bright, circular distribution for retail applications.
Richard Holmes, iGuzzini Middle East Regional Director, said: “Laser Blade is the first fitting of its kind that is completely in tune with the direction of the lighting industry. The technical development of LED as a light source is developing at such a pace that it is not possible for product development to keep up. It has long been the desire of many architects and designers to have light without seeing light fittings! With the development of Laser blade iGuzzini has achieved this.”
Among the other notable products and innovations on view include the 360+ series of architectural downlights from acdc and the innovative range of art gallery luminaires from Osram.

Light Middle East is the region’s foremost trade event for lighting design and technology. The 2013 edition will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 7th to 9th. The trade fair and conference will feature an unmatched range of lighting and design solutions, the Light Insight Arabia conference and the Light Middle East Awards.

معرض الإضاءة في الشرق الأوسط 2013 يقدم التصاميم الإبداعية والمفاهيم المستقبلية لرواد الصناعة
تنطلق في دبي الأسبوع القادم فعاليات معرض الإضاءة في الشرق الأوسط 2013 خلال الفترة الممتدة من يوم الإثنين وحتى الأربعاء 7 – 9 أكتوبر في مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعار ض، وعلى هامش المعرض تقام الدورة الأولى من "فيوتشر زون" التي تسلط الضوء على أحدث مفاهيم تصميم الإضاءة والتقنيات الحديثة المبتكرة والأحدث في عالم الإنارة، الذي يقدمه أبرز مصممي الإضاءة في العالم.
تمثل منطقة "فيوتشر زون" نافذة عرض حصرية لأحدث المنتجات والإبداعات التي يمكنها أن تطور عالم تصميم الإضاءة حيث يشارك فيها عدد من أشهر الأسماء والشركات.
وقال أحمد باولس الرئيس التنفيذي في إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت الجهة المنظمة للمعرض: "تقدم منطقة فيوتشر زون لمصممي الإضاءة ومحترفي الصناعة والتجار في المنطقة، إطلالة فريدة للتعرف وعن قرب على عدد من توجهات وتقنيات التصميم التي يمكن أن تغير طريقة العمل في عالم الإضاءة. وقد حظيت فيوتشر زون بدعم واسع لنسختها الافتتاحية وستقدم عددا من مفاهيم وإبداعات التصميم الهامة ".
ومن بين المشاركين في "فيوتشر زون" عدد من عمالقة الإضاءة الدوليين مثل جنرال الكتريك، أوسرام إيجوزيني، إل جي، ecdc، تريلوكس، لينيا لايت وإركو.
تقدم جنرال الكتريك للإنارة اثنين من أحدث ابداعاتها في "فيوتشر زون" وهما إنارة LED الخطية ونظام إضاءة ERS LED في الشوارع.
إنارة LED الخطية هي عبارة عن لوحة إنارة رفيعة وموحدة معلقة في السقف تعمل بتقنية Intrinsix™ للارتقاء الأقصى بالأداء والتحكم والكفاءة لمصابيح إضاءة LED في المستقبل. عند تشغيلها تقدم وميضاً متساوياً تماماً وعند إيقاف تشغيلها تكون شبه شفافة مع مصابيح LED المستترة داخل الإطار. يوفر التوزيع المزدوج غير المتماثل تنويراً عمودياً وأفقياً غير متوهج، وهو حل مثالي لخلفيات التجزئة ومجموعة واسعة من المشاريع الأخرى.
أما التشكيلة المتميزة لمصابيح إضاءة ERS LED للشوارع فهي عبارة عن نظام إضاءة طرق موفر للطاقة. يلبي هذا النظام مجموعة واسعة من التطبيقات مثل الطرق السريعة، الشوارع، مناطق المشي وحصلت على لقب "الأفضل في فئة إضاءة الطرق" في مسابقة تصميم إضاءة الحالة الصلبة لإنارة الجيل القادم (NGL) في العام 2012.
من جانبه أوضح "جورج باو متري"، مدير عام جنرال الكتريك للإنارة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا وتركيا، أوضح قائلا: "يعد معرض الإضاءة في الشرق الأوسط واحداً من أهم المنصات الإقليمية التي نحرص على المشاركة فيها لاستعراض تشكيلتنا المتنوعة من حلول الإضاءة التي تركز على الاستدامة في إطار توجه المنطقة نحو دعم ترشيد استهلاك الطاقة في الإضاءة. وسنقدم أحدث التقنيات في فيوتشر زون لنؤكد على خبراتنا القوية في إبداع الإضاءة".
وفي سياق متصل تقدم "إيجوزيني" الشفرة الليزرية" Laser Blade الإبداعية، وهي تركيب إضاءة LED الداخلية الخطية الأول الذي يصدر إضاءة دائرية. وقد حصلت الشفرة الليزرية على العديد من الجوائز مثل "أفضل إنارة داخلية في العام" في جائزة لوكس 2012 وجائزة iF للتصميم في 2013. وبالرغم من الأبعاد المدمجة للغاية إلا أن هذه الشفرة تضمن نتاجاً عالياً كما أن الشكل الخاص للبصريات يقدم توزيعاً دائرياً ناصعاً لتطبيقات التجزئة.
وقال ريتشارد هولمس المدير الإقليمي لـ "إيجوزيني" في الشرق الأوسط: "الشفرة الليزرية هي أول تركيب من نوعه الذي يتماشى تماما مع توجه صناعة الإضاءة. إن التطور التقني في LED كمصدر إضاءة يتسارع بخطى ثابتة من المستحيل لأي تطور آخر مواكبته. لقد كانت رغبة العديد من المهندسين والمصممين منذ زمن بعيد الحصول على الضوء دون رؤية تركيبات الضوء وهو ما نجحت في تحقيقه إيجوزيني من خلال الشفرة الليزرية".
كما يقدم المعرض مجموعة أخرى من أهم وأبرز المنتجات والإبداعات مثل سلسلة 360+ من الإضاءة المعمارية السفلى من acdc والتشكيلة المبتكرة من مصابيح المعارض الفنية من أوسرام.

يعد معرض الإضاءة في الشق الأوسط، الحدث التجاري الأبرز لتصميم وتقنية الإضاءة في المنطقة. تقام دورة المعرض هذا العام في مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض خلال الفترة من 7 – 9 أكتوبر. يقدم المعرض والمؤتمر التجاري تشكيلة فريدة من حلول الإضاءة والتصميم، إلى جانب مؤتمر "رؤى الإضاءة العربية" و"جائزة الإضاءة في الشرق الأوسط".
