Partnership to offer exclusive travel and hospitality services to Oman’s most famous tourist destinations at highly competitive rates

Oman’s Ministry of Tourism and Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, have announced the launch of “Oman Short Breaks”, a joint project to provide great-value, ready-made holiday packages in various major tourist destinations in Oman, during a launch event held last night (March 18, 2013) at the Atlantis Hotel – The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The holiday packages include return tickets from Oman Air and accommodation at any of Oman’s wide selection of upscale hotels.
Popular destinations that are featured in the holiday packages include the capital Muscat and Salalah, a popular city in the Dhofar region known for its waterfalls, lime-stone cliffs, beaches and heritage attractions as well as Khasab, in Musandam peninsula.
Ghasi Humaid Al Hashmi, Acting Director General of Tourism Promotion, Oman Ministry of Tourism, said: “The Oman Ministry of Tourism is taking advantage of its strategic partnerships with the key players in the travel and tourism industry to further intensify our campaign to promote Oman’s most attractive tourist destinations. Oman Air currently operates 7 daily flights from Dubai to Muscat, 4 daily flights from Dubai to Salalah, and 3 daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Muscat. في حفل خاص أقيم مساء أمس (18 مارس 2013) في فندق أتلانتس في جزيرة النخلة بدبي، اطلقت وزارة السياحة في سلطنة عمان والناقل الرسمي لسلطنة عمان "الطيران العماني" مشروعاً مشتركاً تحت عنوان "الرحلات القصيرة الى عمان" والذي يتيح باقات من العروض الجاهزة ذات القيمة المضافة إلى الزوار في عدد من أبرز الوجهات السياحية العمانية، بما في ذلك الحصول على تذاكر العودة على متن خطوط "الطيران العماني" وإمكانية الإقامة في أي من الفنادق رفيعة المستوى المتواجدة في السلطنة.
ومن أهم الوجهات السياحية التي يشملها العرض هي العاصمة مسقط، ومدينة صلالة بمحافظة ظفار التي تتميّز بالشلالات الطبيعية والجبال الصخرية والشواطئ والمعالم التراثية، ومدينة خصب الواقعة في شبه جزيرة مسندم.
وقال غاسي حميد الهاشمي، المكلف بأعمال المدير العام للترويج السياحي في وزارة السياحة العمانيّة: "تحرص وزارة السياحة العمانية على الإستفادة من الشراكات الإستراتيجية التي تحظى بها مع أبرز الشركات العاملة في قطاع السياحة والسفر من أجل دعم ترويج الوجهات السياحية الأكثر جاذبيةً في السلطنة. ومما لا شك فيه أن تعاوننا الدائب مع "الطيران العماني" قد عاد بالنفع الإيجابي الكبير حتى الآن وأسهم في زيادة وعي وإهتمام شريحة أكبر من الجمهور المستهدف. وإن إطلاق باقة "الرحلات القصيرة إلى عمان" بالإشتراك مع "الطيران العماني" يؤكد على نجاح ومتانة شراكتنا الإستراتيجية ومن شأنه خلق مزيد من فرص التعاون في المستقبل."
وبدوره، أوضح مسعود البلوشي، المدير الاقليمي للطيران العماني في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة: "إن الدعم المتواصل الذي تقدّمه وزارة السياحة العمانية للشركة يعكس إلتزام الحكومة وسعيها إلى الإرتقاء بقطاع السياحة والسفر في السلطنة. كما يؤكد إطلاق عرض "الرحلات القصيرة إلى عمان" على دعمنا القوي لرؤية السلطنة ويعبر عن إمتناننا الكبير لعملائنا الأوفياء الذين كان لهم الدور الأكبر في ترسيخ المكانة الرائدة والمتميزة لـ"الطيران العماني" على مستوى صناعة الطيران. وتتيح هذه العروض للزوار فرصة ذهبية للتعرّف على بعض أكثر الوجهات السياحية جذباً في عمان والإستمتاع بالخدمات الفندقية المرموقة بأسعار عالية التنافسية."
ويشار إلى أن "الطيران العماني" تدير 7 رحلات يومية من دبي إلى مسقط و4 رحلات يومية من دبي إلى صلالة، بالإضافة إلى 3 رحلات أخرى من أبوظبي إلى مسقط. وتأكيداً على إلتزامها بتقديم الخدمة الممتازة، تم تصنيف مقاعد درجة رجال الأعمال على متن طائرات "إيه 330" التابعة للطيران العماني، لتكون الأفضل على مستوى العالم خلال حفل توزيع جوائز "سكاي تراكس" (Skytrax) لعامي 2011 و2012 على التوالي. كما تقدّم الشركة حصرياً لمسافريها عبر الدرجة الأولى ودرجة رجال الأعمال خدمة التسجيل الممتازة والجديدة كلياً، بالإضافة إلى الصالات المرموقة في مطار مسقط الدولي.
