The prestigious Fine Watchmaking brand CORUM and the Acapulco Yacht Club were delighted to host the first COPA CLUB DE YATES CORUM 2013 which was held from March 16th to 19th 2013 on the waters of Acapulco and featured some of the country’s best sailors as well as CORUM ambassador Loïck Peyron.
Acapulco–March 16th to 19th. This nautical competition attracted more than 25 sailboats and around 250 participants. These experienced and dedicated competitors took part in four regattas that involved sailing through certain locations such as Papanoa, Punta Bruja, La Roqueta and La Boya Presidencial.
On Sunday March 18th, Juan De Pablos, Chief-Executive of the Acapulco Yacht Club, extended a warm welcome to all sailors as well as to members of the press at a conference during which Loïck Peyron, ambassador of the CORUM watch company and a world-famous navigator, presented his rich and interesting career to date in the world of sailing, as well as his longstanding partnership with the famous Swiss watch brand.
At exactly 2 pm, 25 sailboats set off to sea to compete in the main regatta in the Cup, the Loïck Peyron Trophy. The race started at a buoy off the coast of Punta Bruja, heading towards the extreme far right of La Roqueta Island. The boats then returned to the starting race mark to sail around the island, this time in the opposite direction, before returning to the Yacht Club, where the regatta ended.
Following the competition, the results were officially announced in a ceremony on the Yacht Club’s Olympic Square. Loïck Peyron, holder since last year of the record for the fastest crewed yacht voyage, as well as for the Jules Verne Trophy – a feat timed by CORUM – was honored to present the trophies to the winners in each category.
This new nautical alliance between the Acapulco Yacht Club and the CORUM watch company has given rise to a cup that is destined to make its mark on sailing history in Mexico
كوروم تنظم كأس نادي اليخوت 2013
نظمت كوروم، شركة الساعات السويسرية الفاخرة العريقة بالتعاون مع نادي "أكابلكو" لليخوت النسخة الأولى من كأس نادي اليخوت كوروم 2013 والتي أقيمت خلال الفترة من 16 إلى 19 مارس 2013 في نادي "أكابلكو" بمشاركة افضل البحارين إلى جانب "لويك بيرون" سفير علامة كوروم.
وقد استقطبت هذه المسابقة البحرية أكثر من 25 بحارا وحوالي 250 مشارك حيث شارك هؤلاء المتنافسون من ذوي الخبرة والتخصص في أربع سباقات للزوارق الشراعية تضمنت الإبحار من خلال أماكن معينة مثل "بابانوا" و"بونتا برجوا" و"لا روكويتا" و"لا بويا برزيدنشيال".
تألق "لويك بيرون" سفير علامة كوروم للساعات الفاخرة والملاح العالمي الشهير، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي أقيم في نادي أكابلكو لليخوت بحضور أشهر الأفراد من البحارين.
وانطلق 25 بحارا ليتنافسوا في سباق الشراع الرئيس للكأس وهو جائزة "لويك بيرون". بدأ السباق من أحد المحطات العائمة على ساحل "بونتا بروجا" متجها إلى أقصى اليمين من جزيرة "لا روكويتا". وبعد ذلك عادت القوارب إلى علامة بدء السباق للإبحار حول الجزيرة، ولكن في الاتجاه المعاكس هذه المرة، قبل العودة إلى نادي اليخوت حيث ينتهي سباق الزوارق.
وعقب المسابقة تم الإعلان رسميا عن النتائج في احتفالية خاصة أقيمت في ميدان نادي اليخوت الأوليمبي. وتشرف لويك بيرون الذي يحتفظ منذ العام الماضي بالرقم القياسي لأسرع رحلة بحرية بطاقم يخوت وكذلك في كأس "جولس فيرن" – وهو السباق الذي كانت كوروم المؤقت الرسمي له – تشرف بتقديم الجوائز للفائزين في كل فئة.
وقد رفعت هذه الشراكة البحرية الجديدة بين نادي "أكابلكو" لليخوت وشركة كوروم للساعات من شأن كأس من المنتظر أن يكون له مكانة هامة في تاريخ الإبحار في المكسيك.
