A
first-of-its-kind in the Middle East
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Interior hosted a ceremony in his office at the Abu
Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) to announce the launch of the Ministry
of Interior’s brand new Innovation Website (www.uaeinnovation.ae). A first-of-its-kind in the Middle East, the website aims to
spread the culture of innovation and encourage the participation of creative
ideas.
HH Sheikh Saif urged the MoI’s staff members and customers to further
endeavor to adopt creative and innovative ideas in a bid to upgrade the
standards of police work and provide excellent services to the public. He also
reiterated the higher leadership’s commitment to providing care and support for
all innovative and distinguished individuals in the UAE.
The new website offers an online learning material on innovative
thinking, which includes the appropriate tools that will help individuals think
in a way that improves their creative thinking skills. It also provides an idea
evaluation methodology that is consistent with international-best practices; and
features the innovative ideas measurement program designed to assess the impact
of the proposed ideas prior to implementation.
For his part, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary
General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said
that the website includes a list of the creative ideas that obtained the
Ministry of Interior’s Creativity and Innovation Awards, as well as a number of
educational videos to motivate the website visitors to show innovation and
creativity as part of police and security work.
The Secretary General urged the MoI’s staff members and customers to
share their innovations by posting them on the website, and called upon them to
boost the spirit of creativity, innovation and excellence. In conclusion, he
noted that the website embodies the Ministry of Interior's strategy and provides
support to its strategic development plan.
The launching ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin
Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, the
General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Interior; Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Head Director of Strategy and
Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; Major Mohammed Ismail Al Harmoudi,
Head of Complaints and Suggestions Department at the Directorate General of Strategy
and Performance Development; along with a number of staff members from the
Ministry of Interior .

أطلق الفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد
آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية؛ اليوم "
الإثنين" ، في مكتبه بالقيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي، موقع الإبداع في
وزارة الداخلية (www.uaeinnovation.ae) ويعد الأول
من نوعه في الشرق الأوسط في نشر ثقافة الابتكار
والتشجيع على مشاركة الأفكار المبدعة .
وحثّ سموه منتسبي وزارة الداخلية
وجمهور المتعاملين على مواصلة تبني الأفكار الإبداعية المبتكرة للارتقاء بمسيرة العمل الشرطي؛ وتقديم خدمات
متميزة للجمهور ؛ مؤكداً اهتمام القيادة العليا بتقديم الرعاية والدعم للمبتكرين
والمتميزين في الدولة.
ويشجع الموقع من
خلال مادة تعليمية إلكترونية على التفكير الابداعي متضمناً
الادوات الملائمة التي تساعد على التفكير بطريقة تعزز من تحسين المهارات
الابداعية ، وآلية لتقييم الأفكار وفقا لأفضل الممارسات العالمية،
وقياس أثر تطبيقها بشكل فعلي قبل البدء بتنفيذها .

العام لمكتب سمو نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية ان الموقع
يتضمن نماذج لأفكار ابداعية فازت بجوائز وزارة الداخلية للابداع والابتكار
وفيديوهات تعليمية تحفز زواره على
شحذ الهمم للابتكاروالابداع في اطار العمل الشرطي والأمني .
ودعا الأمين العام منتسبي الوزارة و المتعاملين على مشاركة
ابداعاتهم في الموقع وحثهم
على تطوير روح الإبداع والابتكار
والتميز؛ مشيراً إلى أن الموقع
يجسد استراتيجية وزارة الداخلية ويدعم خطة التطوير الاستراتيجي فيها .

الظاهري، مدير عام الاستراتيجية وتطوير الأداء بوزارة الداخلية، والعقيد فيصل
سلطان الشعيبي مدير إدارة الاستراتيجية وتطوير الأداء بالقيادة العامة لشرطة
أبوظبي، والرائد محمد إسماعيل الهرمودي مدير إدارة الشكاوى والمقترحات بالإدارة
العامة للاستراتيجية وتطوير الأداء، وعدد من منتسبي وزارة الداخلية.
