propertyfinder puts consumer experience front and centre at the region’s first ever Real Estate Awards

14 December 2014: The importance of having accurate property information online is being put under the microscope like never before. Leading the charge is propertyfinder.ae, the UAE’s leading property site, which hosted the region’s first ever real estate awards last week to celebrate high achievement in listing quality, customer service and marketing.
Spread across five categories, the awards held at Anantara Residences on the Palm, recognised the best of the best in Dubai real estate. Winners were selected based on stringent criteria involving a year-long process of monitoring and evaluating listing practices and consumer servicing levels, auditing over 25,000 property listings, investigating every consumer complaint and collecting end user feedback via consumer surveys. Edwards and Towers were the biggest winners, securing first place in the Best Brokerage Service 2014 category followed by Espace Real Estate and LJ Hooker, whilst Better Homes LLC walked away with Dubai’s Most Popular Broker 2014 title.
Congratulating all the nominees and winners, Michael Lahyani, CEO and Founder of propertyfinder.ae said, “These were the first awards where so much emphasis was placed on best-in-class real estate practices. Providing users with truthful property information is something we’re very committed to doing. Putting consumers first also translates into better business for brokers. Our efforts then drive value for everyone in the real estate ecosystem.”
Behind propertyfinder’s push for quality real estate information is a large team of dedicated developers and customer support and quality control managers. The portal is also using market-leading technology and implementing mystery shopping practices to ensure that only the right information gets published on the site.
“Dubai’s property market is maturing. Prices have fallen for the first time in 4 years, regulation is stronger than ever before and even the IMF has stated that risks have decreased. The next step then is to win consumer confidence in the industry. Publishing truthful property information online is key to achieving this,” added Lahyani.
