Delivering services under the ATMAN brand, ATM has deployed Patton’s carrier-grade SmartNode SN10300 VoIP+TDM gateways as critical infrastructure for its ATMAN ISDN and ATMAN VoIP services for business.

Supporting multiple signaling protocols, the SN10300 SS7 gateway enables ATM to provide a rich variety of business communications services—from ISDN telephony to Voice-over-IP (VoIP), SIP trunking, and Unified Communications (UC)—all over their own integrated network.

AUC/School of Continuing Education and SAP: Critical Skills for an Age of Discovery

The School of Continuing Education of The American University in Cairo has signed a University Alliance agreement with SAP, the world's largest business software company and the third-biggest independent software provider by revenue.

                The signing ceremony, which took place recently at AUC Tahrir Square campus, is set to bind Egypt’s Global University and the world leader in enterprise applications together in order to further enhance students’ learning experience.                 Dr. Boraie signed the agreement on behalf of the School of Continuing Education while Ms. Marita Mitschein, Managing Director SAP MENA Training & Development Institute signed on behalf of SAP.

كلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة توقع إتفاقية مع SAP  لتقديم برامج تعليمية وتدريبية لطلابها لمواكبة المتطلبات المهارية فى عصر العلم والإكتشاف

لقد قامت كلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة بتوقيع اتفاقية تعاون مع SAP ، أكبر شركة عالمية فى مجال تطبيقات وحلول برامج إدارة الأعمال وثالث أكبر موَّرد مستقل لبرامج الكومبيوتر من حيث الإيرادات.

و يهدف حفل التوقيع الذى أقيم مأخرا  بحرم الجامعة الأمريكية بالتحرير لربط الجامعة المصرية والشركة الرائدة فى مجال التطبيقات الذكية وذلك لتقديم مزيداً من الدعم للعملية التعليمية بالجامعة.  و مع هذا الاتفاق تصبح الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة العضو رقم 100 للانضمام إلى  مجتمع تحالف الجامعات لبرنامج SAP في منطقة الشرق الأوسط .

والحلول المقدمة من  SAP "اس ايه بي" سوف تساعد الخريجين على تحويل مهاراتهم الفنية وقدراتهم على العمل إلي واقع عملى ملموس، كما ستساعد الدارسين على إكتشاف فرص للعمل فى المستقبل. كما ستمكن الدارسين من صقل قدراتهم على الريادة فى المستقبل.

هذا وقد رحبت الدكتورة / دينا برعى ،عميد كلية التعليم المستمر، بالتوصل لهذه الإتفاقية مع SAP "اس ايه بي" مؤكدة أنها سوف تساعد الكلية فى تقديم بعضاً من مهارات التوظيف الأساسية بالإضافة الى فرصاً للتعلم المستدام للدراسين.

وذكرت "نحن نسعى لتقديم مجموعة من الفرص التعليمية التى تتوافق مع إحتياجات وأسلوب الحياة المتنوع للدارسين بكلية التعليم المستمر على اختلاف توجهاتهم".

وقد أضافت سيادتها : "إن برامج التعليم المستمر ذات المستوى الراقى - والتى سوف تشمل موضوعات مختارة ذات الصلة بال SAP "اس ايه بي" – أصبحت الأن متاحة بأشكال متنوعة منها ماهو وجهاً لوجه ومنها ما يجمع بين حضور الفصول التدريبية وإستخدام مصادر تكنولوجية متعددة، و هذا بالإضافة إلى توفير جداول دراسية مرنة صباحاً ومساءاً وكذلك فى عطلة نهاية الأسبوع بالإضافة إلى برامج مكثفة على مدار العام.

ومن هنا فسوف يتيح هذا التعاون الفرصة لكلية التعليم المستمر أن تسد احتياجات المجتمع المتنوعة وذلك بإتاحة نظاماً أوسع لبرامج التعلم المستقلة والحصول على شهادات تعليمية مهنية. وبهذا التوقيع يمكن للجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة أن تشارك فى مسابقات SAP  "اس ايه بي" العلمية وأن توجه الدراسين للإبتكار والتفكير الإبداعى وأن تشارك مباشرة فى البحث والتطوير فىما تقدمه SAP  "اس إيه بي" من حلول تكنولوجية جديدة.

من ناحيتها قالت ماريتا ميتشاين، كبيرة نواب الرئيس للاستثمارات الاستراتيجية والمدير التنفيذي لمعهد اس ايه بي للتدريب والتطوير في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا: "نحن سعداء للغاية اليوم بالترحيب بكلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة كالعضو المائة في برنامج تحالف الجامعات من اس ايه بي في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. كما يؤكد هذا التزامنا التام بتطوير وصقل مهارات الشباب والشابات في مصر التي أصبحت مركزاً ومصدراً للمواهب الشابة في المنطقة".

وأضافت السيدة ميتشاين: "لا شك لدينا أن النهج الأكاديمي لكلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة حين اقترانه بخبرة اس ايه بي العلمية والعملية سيتيح فرص عمل جديدة للخريجين والخريجات".وقد قامت الدكتورة / دينا برعى بالتوقيع على هذه الإتفاقية نيابةً عن كلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة بينما قام بالتوقيع نيابةً عن SAP  "اس ايه بي" السيدة / ماريتا ميتشاين، المدير التنفيذي لشركة SAP  "اس ايه بي" ومعهد SAP للتدريب والتنمية فى الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.

من ناحيته قال عمرو غنيم، المدير التنفيذي لشركة أس ايه بي في شمال أفريقيا والمشرق العربي: "توقيعنا اليوم مع الشريك المائة في برنامج تحالف الجامعات يُعد إنجازاً كبيراً بالنسبة لنا في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، لا سيما في خضم جهودنا الرامية إلى تعزيز دعمنا لقوى العمل المستقبلية في المنطقة. مصر تتمتع بأكبر عدد من السكان في الوطن العربي ونحن ملتزمون بصقل المواهب والإمكانات المصرية الشابة وتزويدهم بالمهارات اللازمة لدفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي الرقمي في البلاد".
