Seven Tides’ Seven Palm development now sold out
Russians, British & Emiratis top investor profiles by nationality
Owners represented by 63 different natioanlities
UAE-headquartered upscale residential, hospitality and commercial property developer Seven Tides has announced that all of it’s 1,116 apartments, at the Seven Palm Residences, have now been completely sold out.
The studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments have proven popular with a broad cross-section of investors, with Russia, Macedonia, the UK, the UAE, and Uzbekistan the top five source markets. However, properties have also been purchased by Americans, Canadians, and Indians, with a total of 63 nationalities represented.
Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO, Seven Tides said: “This is a truly outstanding sales performance, especially given global travel and social restrictions we have endured during the past 18 months.”
“Like many other developers and brokers, we had to adapt our business model, innovating with the aid of technology, so that investors could still make an informed decision from distance, with sales support on-hand in real time,” added Bin Sulayem.
Situated on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah, the 14-storey two-tower complex is connected by one of the largest rooftop infinity pools within the Gulf region. The Seven Palm Residences are located in the north tower
Residents will have access to a range of restaurants, cafés, swimming pools, a gym, sauna, and lush, landscaped gardens. All apartments feature spacious layouts complemented by floor-to-ceiling windows to maximise natural light, additional balcony space, as well as spectacular views over the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina Skyline and Burj Al Arab.
“The pandemic has made end-users re-evaluate their lifestyles. After the lockdown tenants started considering an upgrade to larger properties with spacious exteriors and leisure facilities on their doorstep. In essence, we offer luxury, convenience and harmony supporting physical and mental wellbeing, ” added Bin Sulayem.
The south tower is managed by NH Hotels, part of the Minor Group and consists of 227 hotel guest rooms and suites, plus an additional 306 serviced apartments. The hotel’s interiors will be bold, original and energetic, bringing bursts of colour.
The hotel includes a lively sports bar, a stylish rooftop bar and lounge, and large comfortable multi-purpose spaces for co-working. Other facilities include a fully-equipped gym, restaurants and bars, direct beach access and retail outlets.
Construction work is now over 80% complete, with the development due for completion during Q1 – 2022.
“Looking ahead to 2022 and beyond, many investors in the UK and Europe are becoming increasingly concerned about the prospect of higher income and property tax rates, as governments look to reduce public finance deficits, after borrowing large amounts of money to tackle the pandemic. With a buoyant market and record real estate transactions, that scenario looks as if it could well play out and drive even further investment into Dubai’s real estate market,” concluded Bin Sulayem.

SEOUL, South Korea and WASHINGTON, Nov. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/Knowledge Bylanes -- Hyundai Motor Group (the Group) is announcing today a new company called Supernal, LLC to take its future mobility vision forward. An evolution of its Urban Air Mobility Division, Supernal (the Company), will be the binding component of the Group's future mobility vision. The Company is developing a family of electric air vehicles and convening public and private stakeholders to responsibly shape the emerging Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry. It plans to launch its first commercial flight in 2028 and scale operations, leveraging the Group's manufacturing expertise, as the AAM market and public acceptance begin to grow in the 230s.
"In adding a new dimension to mobility, we are on a mission to transform how people and society move, connect, and live," said Jaiwon Shin, Chief Executive Officer of Supernal and President, of Hyundai Motor Group. "We have bold ambitions at Supernal but being first to market is not one of them. We are working to build the right product and the right integrated market, and we will leverage Hyundai Motor Group's scaled manufacturing expertise to ensure AAM reaches the right price point and is accessible to the masses."
Borne out of the Group's strategic transition from automaker to Smart Mobility Solution Provider, Supernal is one of more than 50 pioneering companies in the Group's network collaborating to make mobility a service, not just a product. The Company is working to integrate AAM into existing transit networks and to shape a seamless intermodal passenger experience. The vision is for passengers to use a single app – like current rideshare platforms – to plan their journey, which could include taking a car or rail from home to an AAM "vertiport," an eVTOL across town, and an e-scooter for the last mile.
Engineering and commercializing a new mobility product
Supernal, launched as the Urban Air Mobility Division of Hyundai Motor Group at CES 2020, where it introduced its initial concept vehicle, the S-A1. The Company continues to develop and enhance the eVTOL vehicle it will bring to market first and plans to begin certification with U.S. regulatory agencies in 2024. Supernal's first air vehicle will be electric-powered and autonomous-capable and is planned to accommodate four to five passengers on initial urban and urban-adjacent routes.
"We're developing a commercially viable Advanced Air Mobility product from the start, designing and manufacturing our vehicle to the highest safety, noise, efficiency, and affordability standards," said Ben Diachun, Chief Technology Officer, Supernal. "Our growing team, which includes veterans of aerospace, automotive, and other deep-tech industries, is engineering sustainable vehicles that have the potential to evolve how we live, work, and play."
The Company is leveraging advanced technologies, systems, and airframe materials – including artificial intelligence, autonomous control, and electric powertrain – to develop its vehicles and will harness the Group's mass production capabilities to scale production, affordably. Supernal is also establishing a bench of academic partners to expand the AAM industry's research frontier and talent pipeline.
Developing and integrating a new mobility market
In tandem with its electric air vehicle development, Supernal is working to co-create the AAM industry and supporting ecosystem by collaborating with a variety of stakeholders – across public and private entities, other modes of mobility, academia, and startups – to address market entry challenges, cultivate public acceptance, and ensure AAM is economically accessible and environmentally sustainable.
"As an industry disruptor, we have a responsibility to ensure AAM integrates with and augments existing transit options and effectively serves local community needs. Developing the market – from the vehicle to critical infrastructure networks and public acceptance – takes thoughtful and strategic coordination; everything needs to align at the same time for AAM to reach its full promise," Shin said.
With this aim, Supernal is forging partnerships at the local and state level across the United States. Last year, the Company launched a partnership with the City of Los Angeles and Urban Movement Labs to develop a public engagement roadmap and policy toolkit other cities and municipalities can use to inform their AAM efforts and timelines. Supernal also serves as an industry resource for policymakers interested in understanding how AAM can address their communities' transportation needs.
At the national and international level, Supernal is collaborating with stakeholders to explore concepts for physical and digital infrastructure. Last year, the Company entered a partnership with Urban-Air Port, a participant in the U.K. government's Future Flight Challenge, to explore new, multifunctional and scalable AAM infrastructure and will showcase a full-scale "vertiport" prototype in the United Kingdom next year. Supernal is also supporting CAAM (the Canadian Advanced Air Mobility Consortium) in developing a framework for the Canadian AAM National Master Plan. Additionally, the Company recently announced the expansion of its Airspace Management Consortium, which is working to shape a concept of operations for the consideration of policymakers.

Emirati entrepreneur sets up real estate company aimed at selling ultra-luxury mansions in Dubai
Dubai, UAE- 10 November 2021: Emirati entrepreneur Abbas Sajwani has launched an uber-luxury real estate company, AHS Properties, with a total asset value of more than $100 million, just ahead of Cityscape — the region’s leading property exhibition that takes place annually in Dubai.
Spotting an opportunity to meet rising demand for ultra-luxury properties, the Dubai-based AHS Properties is selling premium estates in Emirates Hills, as well as beachfront villas on Dubai’s exclusive Palm Jumeirah. The Company currently has four luxury villas in its portfolio, of which three are being valued at AED 80 million each and the fourth valued at more than AED 150 million.
Sajwani, Founder of AHS Group, the parent group of AHS Properties, said: “Today, we are excited to launch AHS Properties to enrich Dubai’s luxury property offerings, which is growing in demand and set to boost sales growth in 2021.”
The UAE’s rapid response to the Covid-19 pandemic has attracted the world’s wealthiest investors, who continue to flock to Dubai, snapping up the most expensive homes in locations such as the Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bay, according to Knight Frank.
This has played a big part in driving up villa values, with villa prices in Dubai provisionally up by 5 per cent in the third quarter of 2021. The number of homes worth more than $10 million that have been sold in the emirate currently stands at 54, breaking the previous record of 31, set in 2015.
AHS Properties’ asset portfolio comprises sought-after and high-end properties which includes the uber luxurious Amara Villa at Emirates Hills worth AED 150 million ($40 million). The mansion has 45,000 sq ft of built-up area and living space with seven en-suite bedrooms. It is designed to offer everything a resident wants within a short drive from the most famous tourist attractions and business hubs in Dubai such as Palm Jumeirah, Mall of the Emirates and Expo 2020 Dubai.
The 12,500 sq ft Azalea Villa located on Palm Jumeirah, built with natural materials and textures, has six en-suite bedrooms and its own pool, gym, gardens and bar.
“The launch of AHS Properties comes at an exciting time in Dubai, as they city welcomes millions of people from around the world at Expo 2020. There has been exceptional growth of high-net-worth end user buyers who are looking to move to Dubai which will definitely boost demand for luxury properties in the short and medium term,” Sajwani added.
Abbas Sajwani is the son of Hussain Sajwani, founder of DAMAC Group, a successful conglomerate that has a diverse portfolio ranging from capital markets, hospitality, data centres, fashion, retail and, of course, real estate.
At a young age, Abbas has followed in the footsteps of his father and demonstrated acute prowess as a budding entrepreneur. He was only 18 years old when set up AHS Group in 2017.
The AHS Group’s portfolio includes Ventures, Properties and Investments. The company’s objective is to be one of the leading business groups in the Middle East by 2025.
