Workshops led by experts to cover a comprehensive range of coding, programming and cybersecurity topics
Abu Dhabi, UAE, 8th June 2023: e& collaborated with the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) to offer interactive workshops to students, parents and teachers from both public and private schools, as part of the Group's commitment to the digital empowerment of communities.
There were virtual coding workshops held for students and teachers designed to equip students and teachers with the vital technical expertise and skill set, fostering their capabilities to excel and thrive in the increasingly competitive digital landscape, aligning with e&’s long-term vision for education and empowerment.
Virtual cyber security awareness sessions will be held for parents and students. These will focus on educating them on the risks children face online and techniques used to safeguard them in the digital world. These sessions include training on protecting the child from online social and digital threats, cyberbullying and cyber identity theft.
These initiatives are part of e&'s ongoing efforts to support the education sector in the UAE and build on the Group's previous collaboration with MoE, where virtual cybersecurity awareness sessions were held for schools to promote a cybersecurity culture and enhance future generations' digital resilience.
The interactive sessions will be held virtually to facilitate seamless participation for students, parents and teachers, allowing them to conveniently engage from the comfort of their homes or classrooms.

With future technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Programming taking center stage in digital transformation, it is important to keep our students abreast with these developments getting them ready for the 21st century with ensuring their online safety through this ongoing developments in the digital field.”
The workshops held in February led by experts covered a comprehensive range of topics such as popular programming language Python, introduction to programming with Python (Text-based programming), automation, introduction to automation utilising UiPath, Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI overview and No-code AI, as well as Business Intelligence (BI) using the power BI tool. The sessions were conducted virtually enabling students and teachers to participate from the comfort of their homes or classrooms.
The coding sessions were made available to students from grades 5 to 12, as well as teachers, with the objective of promoting technical education and raising awareness. with plans to run virtual cybersecurity awareness sessions with schools in collaboration with MOE.

بهدف التدريب على البرمجة والترميز والأمن السيبراني
e& تتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم لتمكين الطلاب وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين رقمياً
أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 8 يونيو 2023: أعلنت e& اليوم عن تعاونها مع وزارة التربية والتعليم في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لتقديم ورش تعليمية وتفاعلية في علوم البرمجة والترميز والأمن السيبراني للطلاب وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة، كجزء من التزام المجموعة بتمكين المجتمعات رقمياً.
وتهدف هذه الورش التدريبية إلى تزويد الخبرات التقنية اللازمة والمهارات التي تعزّز القدرة على التفوق والازدهار، وتُعقد بشكل افتراضي لتيسير مشاركة الطلاب والمعلمين بسهولة من منازلهم أو فصولهم الدراسية.
وتقدم e& بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم ورش توعوية افتراضية حول الأمن السيبراني وذلك للطلاب وأولياء الأمور، للتعريف بالمخاطر التي يواجهها الأطفال على شبكة الإنترنت وسبل الوقاية منها. كما تشمل هذه الورش التدريب على حماية الطفل من المخاطر المتعددة على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والتنمر الإلكتروني واختراق الحسابات الرقمية.
وقال خالد مرشد، الرئيس التنفيذي للتكنولوجيا وتقنية المعلومات في اتصالات من &e: "يعكس هذا التعاون مواصلة التزامنا بتمكين المجتمعات رقميًا والمساهمة في توفير الحماية السيبرانية، ونؤمن إيماناً راسخاً بأن التعليم والتوعية هما بمثابة حجر الأساس للارتقاء بالأفراد والمجتمعات. ونحرص على مواصلة تعاوننا مع وزارة التربية والتعليم في دولة الإمارات لمنح الطلاب والمعلمين وأولياء الأمور المهارات والمعارف الرقمية ونساهم بذلك عبر خبراتنا في المجالات الرقمية. كما تشكل هذه المبادرة فرصة مثالية للمساهمة في إعداد الجيل القادم ليكون جاهزاً لمواجهة التحديات وانتهاز الفرص في ظل المشهد الرقمي سريع النمو".
ومن جهتها، أكدت سعادة الدكتورة آمنة الضحاك الشامسي، الوكيل المساعد لقطاع الرعاية وبناء القدرات في وزارة التربية والتعليم، أن التعاون مع e& يمثل وجهاً من أوجه العمل التربوي والالتزام المشترك، سعياً نحو نقل طلبتنا ومعلمينا إلى مستويات أكثر تقدماً في مجالات علوم البرمجة والترميز والأمن السيبراني، وبالتالي إكسابهم مهارات التعامل مع التقنية الحديثة، مشيرة إلى أن التطور العالمي في قطاع الذكاء الاصطناعي والأتمتة والبرمجة والتحول الرقمي الهائل، يستدعي أن نبقي طلبتنا على إطلاع دائم بهذه المستجدات، لنستكمل جميع فصول تمكينهم من أدوات العصر ومهارات القرن 21 إضافةً إلى ضمان سلامتهم الرقمية في ظل التطور المستمر في المجال الرقمي.
وتستعرض ورش البرمجة والترميز مجموعة شاملة من المحاور مثل لغة البرمجة بايثون Python، ومقدمة عن البرمجة باستخدام Python (البرمجة النصية)، والأتمتة، ومقدمة للأتمتة باستخدام UiPath، والذكاء الاصطناعي (AI)، ولمحة عامة حول No-code AI بالإضافة إلى الأعمال الذكية (BI) باستخدام أداة power BI. وشملت هذه الورش الطلاب من الصف الخامس إلى الصف الثاني عشر إلى جانب المعلمين، بهدف تعزيز التعليم في المجال التكنولوجي.
وتأتي هذه المبادرات في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها e& لدعم القطاع التعليمي في دولة الإمارات، واستكمالاً للجهود السابقة للمجموعة بالشراكة مع وزارة التربية والتعليم، والتي أثمرت عن تنفيذ عدة ورش توعوية تناولت الأمن السيبراني وضرورة التعرف على الطرق الآمنة لاستخدام شبكة الإنترنت وتعزيز القدرات الرقمية للأجيال القادمة.
