Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge gives top rating for ‘strong leadership and a unified approach to distance learning’ to all Aldar Academies’ schools

In a further accolade this week, The Pearl Academy has now become the only school in Abu Dhabi accredited as a ‘World Class School’ by High Performance Learning, an international body that recognises schools at the forefront of educational thinking
Abu Dhabi, July 05, 2020: Aldar Academies’ innovative approach to distance learning has been officially recognised by ADEK, with 100 per cent of Aldar Academies’ schools assessed awarded the education body’s highest possible grading following a series of inspections.
ADEK Inspectors awarded the ‘Developed’ grades to Al Bateen Academy, Al Ain Academy, The Pearl Academy, Al Muna Academy, Al Mamoura Academy, West Yas Academy and Al Yasmina Academy based on an array of factors that evaluated each school’s distance learning provision for students and their wellbeing during the recent period.
The assessment themes include learning opportunities, safeguarding, monitoring and assessment, agility, communication and engagement, among others. The reports highlighted the strong leadership and unified approach to distance learning, as well as effective planning and use of digital platforms and tools in creative and effective ways.
Stephen Sharples, Director of Education at Aldar Academies, said: “These recent awards are tangible proof of our commitment to providing the most comprehensive academic programme for all our students, as well as our approach in using the latest in digital technology and other innovative tools and methodologies.”

In addition to the ADEK accolades, The Pearl Academy has been recognised as one of the very best schools in the world and has been accredited as a ‘World Class School’ by High Performance Learning, an international body that recognises schools at the forefront of educational thinking with exceptional outcomes for students.
The award means that The Pearl Academy is the only school in the emirate of Abu Dhabi to hold this accreditation and joins an elite global community of schools who routinely share practice and support each other.

يؤكد تقييم دائرة التعليم والمعرفة – أبوظبي على الأسلوب المبتكر الذي تنهجه أكاديميات الدار الملتزم بالتميز الأكاديمي.
حصلت أكاديمية اللؤلؤة بالإضافة لتقييم "متميز" على اعتماد عالمي من قبل الهيئة الدولية (التعليم العالي الأداء) لتكون المدرسة الوحيدة في إمارة أبوظبي المعتمدة من قبل الهيئة المتميزة بمنهجها وأسلوبها.
أبوظبي،5 يوليو 2020: أشادت دائرة التعليم والمعرفة- أبوظبي بالنهج المبتكر لأكاديميات الدار للتعليم عن بُعد، وذلك بعد سلسلة من عمليات المراجعة والتفتيش.
منح مفتشو دائرة التعليم والمعرفة- أبوظبي تقييم "متميز" لكافة أكاديميات الدار في إمارة أبوظبي والتي تضم أكاديمية البطين والعين وااللؤلؤة والمنى والمعمورة وويست ياس وأكاديمية الياسمينة، وذلك بناءً على مجموعة من المعايير التي قدرت مدى جودة عمليات التدريس والتقييم عن بعد لكل مدرسة، خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
شملت موضوعات التقييم فرص التعلم والحماية والمراقبة والسلاسة والتواصل والمشاركة، بالإضافة إلى عدد من المحاور الأخرى. وأبرزت التقارير القيادة القوية والنهج الشامل للتعلم عن بعد في أكاديميات الدار للتعليم، وكذلك التخطيط الفعال والاستخدام الجيد للمنصات والأدوات الرقمية بطرق مبتكرة وفعالة.
ومن جانبه قال ستيفن شاربلز، مدير التعليم في أكاديميات الدار: " التقييم المميز من قبل دائرة التعليم والمعرفة-أبوظبي يعتبر دليلاً ملموسًا على حرصنا والتزامنا بتوفير البرنامج الأكاديمي الأكثر شمولاً لجميع طلابنا، وذلك باستخدام أحدث التقنيات الرقمية بالإضافة لأساليب ومنهجيات التعليم المبتكرة والمتطورة".
وأضاف: "يؤكد التقييم الذي حصلنا عليه بدرجة "متميز" أن أكاديميات الدار تتفهم احتياجات كل من الطلاب وأولياء الأمور في قطاعنا التعليمي دائم التطور، ويسعدني للغاية أن مخططنا ونهجنا للتعليم عن بعد قد حصل على هذا التقدير الهام من الدائرة".
حصلت أكاديمية اللؤلؤة بالإضافة لتقييم "متميز" على اعتماد عالمي من قبل الهيئة الدولية (التعليم العالي الأداء) التي تمنح الاعتماد وفقاً للنتائج الاستثنائية التي يحققها الطلبة ومدى استعدادهم لدخول سوق العمل بعد تخرجهم. وتعتبر أكاديمية اللؤلؤة هي المدرسة الوحيدة في إمارة أبوظبي التي حصلت على هذا الاعتماد لتنضم إلى نخبة المدارس العالمية التي تنتهج خطة تعليمية مدروسة ومبتكرة وتتعاون لضمان تحقيق أفضل النتائج.
