The Mercedes-Benz CLS: The original perfected
Cairo, Egypt 17 June 2019 – Now in its third generation, the new Mercedes-Benz CLS is available for the first time ever in Egypt. Combining the elegance and dynamism of a coupé with the comfort and functionality of a saloon, Mercedes-Benz is now building more strongly than ever on the aura and unique character of this timeless design icon. The new four-door CLS Coupé offers impressive long-distance and acoustic comfort coupled with thrilling, unrivalled technology and new engines for the best experience on the road.
Exterior design: Self-assured sportiness in the style of Mercedes-Benz coupés
The exterior look of the new CLS can be described as elegant beauty, applying the brand’s sensual purity design language, while retaining typical Mercedes-Benz coupé design cues. With the Sporty exterior AMG design, the car is fitted with AMG front bumper with striking air intakes, a Diamond radiator grill with chrome pins and sporty 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. The forward-slanting front end is reminiscent of a shark's nose, housing very flat and wide headlamps. Additional coupé features include the two-section tail lights, which have a crystalline appearance and create a three-dimensional effect, frameless side windows and the Mercedes star at the centre of the boot lid.
Interior: consistent colour scheme, Widescreen cockpit
The luxurious interior of the CLS Coupé impresses with its high-grade choice of materials showing a very high level of finish, in addition to its fully digital cockpit highlighted by 2 two 12.3inch displays. Three different styles can be selected depending on preference or mood, they include Classic, Sport and Progressive styles. The interior ambient lighting is individually adjustable in 64 colours, and also includes the air vents. The seats were designed exclusively for this model series and feature an 8 program massage function and heated/ventilated front seats. Also, the interior colors include black, grey, beige, brown and red/black nappa leather. To complement this lavish interior, the new CLS is equipped with the high end Burmester® surround sound system. Blessed with 13 high-performance speakers and acoustic features tailored specifically to the vehicle make, the system ensures an optimum listening experience in all driving situations.
Intelligent Drive: Technology from the S-Class
The CLS is equipped with the latest generation of driving assistance systems. As standard, it includes Active Brake Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST and the occupant protection system PRE-SAFE®. New and also part of the standard specification is PRE-SAFE® Sound, which prepares human hearing for the anticipated accident noise when there is a risk of a collision. Thanks to improved camera and radar systems, the new CLS also has an even better view of the surrounding traffic. A Head-up Display is also on-board which shows the driver key information on the windscreen. Items displayed can include speed, cruise control setting, incoming calls, audio information and assistance system messages. Last but not least the CLS provides its driver with maximum visibility, thanks to the ULTRA RANGE high beam of the equipped MULTIBEAM LED headlamps produces the maximum light intensity permitted by law, and visibility is further complemented by the active light function and automatically activated cornering lights.
New range of engines: With EQ Boost and 48 volt on-board electrical system
The CLS 350 which will be available at market launch delivers a comfortable high performance ride, which can be attributed to the DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension, providing a sporty basic setup but also includes continuously adjustable damping. The selectable driving modes are Comfort, Sport and Sport+. Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine making 299 hp and 400Nm. An extra 13 hp and 150Nm are available from the EQ Boost provided by the 48-volt on board electrical system. Not only does this engine deliver best in class performance, but it also delivers on both comfort and efficiency, thanks to the silent start and coasting with engine off functions. An advanced engine requires an advanced transmission system, the new Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 is equipped with a smooth shifting 9G-Tronic automatic transmission ensuring reduced fuel consumption and maximum driving comfort.

القاهرة في 17 يونيو 2019- أطلقت مرسيدس-بنز ايجيبت الجيل الثالث من موديل Mercedes-Benz CLS لأول مرة في السوق المصري. يمزج الموديل الجديد بين الفخامة وديناميكية الأداء التي تتميز بها سيارات الكوبيه، والراحة والعملية التي تتمتع بها سيارات الصالون. لقد تمكنت مرسيدس-بنز من تقديم موديل جديد استفاد لأقصى درجة من شهرة وخصائص التصميم الأصلي للسيارة CLS الذي لم يتأثر بمرور الوقت. توفر السيارةCoupe’ CLS ذات الأربع أبواب أعلى مستويات الراحة خلال الرحلات الطويلة إلى جانب خصائص جديدة تم تزويد هذا الموديل بها لأول مرة لزيادة مستويات الراحة والأمان، مع باقة من أحدث التطبيقات التكنولوجية ومحرك جديد لأفضل تجربة على الطريق.
التصميم الخارجي: تصميم رياضي رائع مستوحي من سيارات مرسيدس-بنز الكوبيه
يمكننا وصف التصميم الخارجي للسيارة CLS الجديدة بأنه تجسيد حقيقي للجمال المذهل والراقي، نظراً لأن التصميم الخارجي للسيارة مستوحى من عناصر التصميم الحصرية التي ابتكرتها مرسيدس-بنز، مع المحافظة على العناصر التصميمية المعروفة لسيارات مرسيدس-بنز الكوبيه. تأتي السيارة CLS بإكصدام أمامي تصميم AMG مع مداخل هواء ذات مظهر جمالي متميز وشبكة رادياتير بشكل ماسي ووصلات مصنوعة من الكروم، مع عجلات 19 بوصة AMG مصنوعة من الألمونيوم الخفيف. من ناحية أخرى يتشابه الطرف الأمامي المنحدر للسيارة مع سمكة القرش، وتم تثبيت الكشافات الأمامية المسطحة العريضة به. ومن الخصائص الإضافية للسيارات الكوبيه في هذه السيارة، الكشافات الخلفية المقسومة لنصفين، والتي تتميز بمظهرها الكريستالي المذهل ولها تأثيرات ضوئية ثلاثية الأبعاد، هذا بالإضافة للنوافذ الجانبية بدون إطار، ونجمة مرسيدس الفضية المثبّتة في منتصف غطاء شنطة السيارة.
التصميم الداخلي: تناسق تام للألوان الداخلية وشاشات عرض كبيرة
يتميز التصميم الفاخر للسيارة CLS الكوبيه بالإبهار، خاصة مع الجودة الفائقة التي تميز المواد المستخدمة داخل السيارة، مع الاعتناء بأدق التفاصيل في التنفيذ، هذا بالإضافة لشاشتي العرض الرقميتين بقياس 12.3 بوصة لكل منهما. يمكن للعميل اختيار أحد ثلاث طرازات للتصميم الداخلي للسيارة حسب تفضيله ومزاجه الشخصي وهيClassic وSport وProgressive. من ناحية أخرى يمكن ضبط الإضاءة المحيطية الداخلية حسب الاختيار الشخصي، وتضم 64 لون إضاءة مختلف، حتى في فتحات التهوية. لقد تم تصميم مقاعد هذا الموديل بصورة حصرية، وتتمتع بثمانِ برامج للتدليك مع امكانية تدفئة وتهوية المقاعد الأمامية. يأتي التصميم الداخلي للسيارة بالألوان: الأسود والرمادي والبيج والبني والأحمرxأسود، وهو مصنوع من جلد النابّا الطبيعي. ولاستكمال روعة التصميم الداخلي، تم تجهيز السيارة CLS بنظام Burmester® الصوتي المحيطي المزود بـ 13سماعة فائقة الأداء ، بما يوفر تجربة صوتية رائعة في كافة ظروف القيادة.
القيادة الذكية: تكنولوجيا مستمدة من السيارة S-Class
السيارة CLS الجديدة مزودة بأحدث جيل من نظم المساعدة على القيادة. وتتضمن السيارة ضمن مواصفاتها القياسية نظام Brake Assist للفرامل ونظام ATTENTION ASSIST ونظام PRE-SAFE® لحماية ركاب السيارة، هذا بالإضافة لنظام PRE-SAFE® Sound الجديد الذي يأتي ضمن المواصفات القياسية لهذا الموديل أيضاً. وتتمثل وظيفة هذا النظام في تنبيه قائد السيارة سمعياً عن طريق اصدار أصوات مشابهة لضجيج حوادث التصادم إذا ما توقعت السيارة مخاطر مرتبطة بوقوع حادث ما. وبفضل نظامي الكاميرات والرادار المطورين، تتمتع السيارة CLS الجديدة برؤية أوضح لحركة المرور والسيارات المحيطة بها. ويعرض نظام Head-up Dispaly أهم البيانات لقائد السيارة بصورة مسبقة. ومن المعلومات التي يتم عرضها كل من السرعة والإعدادات الخاصة بالتحكم في القيادة والمكالمات الواردة والمعلومات الخاصة بالملفات الصوتية والرسائل الخاصة بنظم المساعدة على القيادة وغيرها. وأخيراً وليس آخراً، تتيح السيارة CLS لقائدها رؤية كاملة وتامة، بفضل كشافي الإضاءة العالية ULTRA RANGE
MULTIBEAM LED ويصدر عنها شعاع ضوئي كثيف في الحدود المسموح بها قانوناً. ولزيادة كفاءة باقة الإضاءة، تم تزويد السيارة CLS بوظيفة الإضاءة الفعالة active light وإضاءة المنحنيات التي يتم تنشيطها أوتوماتيكياً.
محركات جديدة: محرك السيارة مزودة بنظام EQ Boost ونظام كهربائي 48 فولت لأداء فائق وراحة مطلقة أثناء القيادة
تتمتع السيارة CLS 350 التي تم إطلاقها في مصر بأداء مريح فائق الجودة بفضل نظام التعليق DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL والذي يوفر أداء رياضي سلس للسيارة مع قدرة دائمة على ضبط قوة الأداء. يتمتع المحرك أيضاً بثلاثة أوضاع للقيادة هي Comfort وSport وSport+. السيارة مزودة بمحرك قوي 2.0 لتر/ 4 سلندر، مع شاحن تربو. تبلغ قدرة المحرك 299 حصان و400 نيوتن متر. ويوفر نظام EQ Boost 13 حصان و150 نيوتن متر اضافية للمحرك من خلال نظام كهربائي 48 فولت. ولا يوفر المحرك الفائق أفضل مستويات الأداء للسيارة فقط، ولكنه يوفر لها أيضاً أعلى درجات الراحة وكفاءة التشغيل بفضل إمكانيات عديدة و من ضمنها خاصية التشغيل الصامت للمحرك و نظام سير السيارة بدون التشغيل الكامل للمحرك . ولأن هذا المحرك يتمتع بكفاءة عالية، فإنه يتطلب نظام متطور لنقل الحركة. ولهذا تم تزويد السيارة CLS350 بناقل حركة أوتوماتيكي سلس الأداء من طراز 9G-Tronic بما يضمن أقل استهلاك للوقود وأقصى راحة أثناء قيادة السياراة.
