EGYPT, 08 May 2019. The bathroom becomes smart – as in many other areas of our life, intelligent technologies make for a more convenient, simplified daily routine and increase the quality of life for the user. With its latest innovation GROHE Plus, the global brand for complete bathroom solutions introduces a smart faucet as part of the launch of its Plus line, which provides exact water degree control thanks to a precise temperature indicator. This allows users to tailor the water temperature precisely to their needs, making it a feature that not only ensures maximum safety, but is also sustainable. In addition, it sensitizes users to the exact water temperature and makes them aware of how often hot water is unnecessarily used. This promotes the responsible use of water as a valuable resource and saves water and energy. At the same time, GROHE Plus features a bold, geometric D-shaped design that fits both round and square bathroom collections.
The highlight of the collection that convinces with the integrated LED display on its spout also offers a version with 90-degree swivel spout, making it possible to precisely position the water jet. Furthermore, GROHE Plus stands for two other sustainability features: In addition to the GROHE EcoJoy water-saving function, users can quickly switch from the standard jet to the economical eco jet, using an infrared sensor on the spout. Thanks to the integrated GROHE AquaGuide (adjustable mousseur), the angle of the jet can be adjusted exactly to ones needs. Above this, the faucet features a GROHE SpeedClean mousseur which quickly removes limescale deposits. The other product versions of the GROHE Plus collection leave nothing to be desired either: Maximum flexibility and user-friendliness are offered by the version with pull-out spout, which, thanks to GROHE EasyDock, gently guides the spout back to the intended position. Hence, the advantages of the new GROHE Plus faucet simplify cleaning the washbasin and filling up larger containers, as well as personal hygiene such as, for example, washing one’s hair.
In addition to classic single-lever mixers in various sizes as well as 2- and 3-hole mixers, the Plus portfolio includes an extended faucet range for bath, shower and bidet. Whether classical or modern bathroom concepts, GROHE Plus offers all the freedom one’s need. This also applies to combining it with the GROHE Cube and Essence ceramics lines. The faucets are available in Chrome as of April 2019.
A Smart Design Statement in the Bathroom
Thanks to its square and round elements, applied up to the smallest detail, the revised GROHE Plus line fits perfectly into any modern bathroom setting. While the front view of the D-shape represents the faucet’s sculptural character, its back stands for gentle elegance. The arch that signifies the strongest form of architecture is the key element of this line.
The LED display version fits perfectly into the overall composition: Covered with white acrylic glass, it has a particularly subtle look. This faucet can be perfectly combined with the MoonWhite models of the GROHE SmartControl product range or the GROHE Rainshower SmartActive showers. For easy orientation, the color of the displayed number changes from blue to red depending on the temperature.
