February 6, 2019- The Saudi Plastic and Petrochemical Exhibition concluded its successful edition this year after the wide turnout from a range of elite government figures, decision-makers, regional and international experts, pioneers from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and around the globe as they proposed and showcased new innovative platforms, products and services related to the plastics and petrochemical industries. The event, organized by “Riyadh Exhibitions Company”, was sponsored by SABIC, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal Bin Majid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Jeddah, with support of public and private sector entities as a direct gateway to the investment opportunities in the Saudi market to coincide with national efforts to increase the output of petrochemical industries to $ 453.3 billion by 2030.
The 16th edition of the Saudi Plastic and Petrochemical Industries Exhibition, sponsored by SABIC as Diamond Sponsor, received critical acclaim from both regional and international exhibitors who have made significant deals and partnerships with Saudi companies in support of plans to develop high-value industrial products and activate the contribution of the plastic and petrochemical sector in driving the growth and diversification of the economy in line with the goals of the National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Vision 2030. The event coincided with the 16th edition of the Saudi Printing & Packaging Exhibition, which attracted a wide range of national companies to learn about the latest technologies, services and products related to packaging and printing. The event also received acclaim from international pioneers for showcasing the many opportunities available in the Kingdom and demonstrating the country as a promising market for printing technologies and innovations of packaging.

6 فبراير 2019- اختتمَ "المعرض السـعودي للبلاستيك والصناعات البتروكيماوية" دورته لهذا العام بنجاح بعد الإقبال الواسع الذي لاقاه من نخبة الشخصيات الحكومية وصنّاع القرار وصناع السياسات والخبراء والرواد السعوديين والإقليميين والدوليين، مقدماً منصة مثالية للاطلاع على أحدث الابتكارات والمنتجات والخدمات ذات الصلة بالصناعات البلاستيكية والبتروكيماوية. وحظي الحدث الرائد، الذي نظمته "شركة معارض الرياض المحدودة"، برعاية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير مشعل بن ماجد بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، محافظ محافظة جدة، وبدعم من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص باعتباره بوابة مباشرة للوصول إلى الفرص الاستثمارية التي تزخر بها السوق السعودية، بالتزامن مع المساعي الوطنية لزيادة ناتج الصناعات البتروكيماوية إلى 453,3 مليار دولار بحلول العام 2030.
وشهد "المعرض السعودي للبلاستيك والصناعات البتروكيماوية 2019"، الذي عقد برعاية ماسية من شركة "سابك"، ردود فعل إيجابية من العارضين الإقليميين والدوليين الذين عقدوا صفقات ضخمة وشراكات فاعلة مع الشركات السعودية، في خطوة داعمة لخطط تطوير منتجات صناعية عالية القيمة وتفعيل مساهمة قطاع البتروكيماويات والبلاستيك في دفع مسيرة النمو والتنويع الاقتصادي وفق مستهدفات "برنامج التحول الوطني 2020" و"رؤية المملكة 2030". وترافق الحدث مع انعقاد "المعرض التجاري الدولي السادس عشر لتقنيات الطباعة والتغليف"، الذي استقطب مشاركة واسعة من الشركات الوطنية للتعرف على أحدث التقنيات والخدمات والمنتجات ذات الصلة بالتغليف والتعليب والطباعة، وسط إشادة واسعة من الرواد الدوليين بالفرص المتاحة في المملكة كونها سوقاً واعدة لتقنيات وابتكارات الطباعة والتعبئة والتغليف.

واختتم آل الشيخ: "شكلت ورش عمل "سابك"، التي استمرت طيلة أيام المعرض، إحدى الفعاليات الجاذبة التي قدمت للحاضرين نظرة شاملة حول أهم وأحدث الحلول المتعلقة بهذه القطاعات الحيوية التي توفر قاعدة تصنيعية متكاملة. ونتطلع قدماً إلى تنظيم الدورة المقبلة من "المعرض السـعودي للبلاستيك والصناعات البتروكيماوية" في الفترة بين 18 و 21 جمادى الأول1441هـ، الموافق بين 13 و16 يناير 2020م في "مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض"، استكمالاً لإنجازاتنا المتواصلة في رفد السوق السعودية بأرقى الفعاليات والمعارض المعنية باستشراف واقع ومستقبل القطاعات المحورية التي تعزز المكانة الريادية للمملكة كقوة مؤثرة على الخارطة الاقتصادية العالمية."
