Plans underline ENOC’s commitment invest in the aviation infrastructure across key markets in Africa
Cairo, Egypt; February 12, 2019: The UAE-based Emirates National Oil Company announced plans to expand its aviation operations in Egypt through its acquisition of a share in the jet fuel hydrant system at Terminal 2 of Cairo International Airport. The Group also plans to establish a physical presence by opening an office for its aviation operations and jet fuel marketing, serving as a catalyst to enable the growth and development of the country’s aviation infrastructure.
ENOC’s announcements follows a recent agreement with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to enable the supply of jet fuel at all key airports across the country, providing further opportunities to drive foreign direct investments in the Egyptian market.
The hydrant system fuels 18 aircrafts at Terminal 2 and has been operational since 2017. The jet fuel hydrant system has seen investment and development from Egyptian and multinational players from the energy and aviation sectors.

Over the years, ENOC has continuously enhanced its partnerships with airlines, suppliers and airports, and currently supplies over three million US Gallons of jet fuel daily. The Group’s international aviation presence was established in 2002, operating in 152 airports across 25 countries in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia and Europe. In addition, the Group currently operates in Egypt through its subsidiary, Dragon Oil, which owns the East Zeit Bay offshore concession.

القاهرة، مصر ، 12 فبراير، 2019: أعلنت شركة بترول الإمارات الوطنية "اينوك" عن خططها لتوسعة عملياتها لتزويد وقود الطائرات في مصر، من خلال الاستحواذ على حصة في نظام ضخ وقود الطائرات في المبنى رقم 2 بمطار القاهرة الدولي. كما تخطط المجموعة أيضاً لتعزيز حضورها في مصر عبر تأسيسها لمكتب محلي لإدارة عمليات قطاع الطيران وتسويق وقود الطائرات، مما يمثل رافداً لدعم تنمية وتطوير البنية التحتية للقطاع في الجمهورية.
ويأتي هذا الإعلان في أعقاب توقيع شركة بترول الإمارات الوطنية "اينوك" لاتفاقية مع "الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول" لتزويد وقود الطائرات إلى جميع المطارات الرئيسية في مصر، مما يساهم في توفير المزيد من فرص الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في السوق المصرية.
وتم بناء نظام ضخ وقود الطائرات لتزويد الوقود إلى 18 طائرة في المبنى 2 ، وتم تشغيله عام 2017، وشهد استثمارات وعمليات تطوير متواصلة من أبرز الشركات المصرية والدولية المتخصصة بقطاعي الطاقة والطيران.
وقال سعادة سيف حميد الفلاسي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة "اينوك": "من المتوقع نمو إجمالي الناتج المحلي المصري بنسبة 5.8 بالمئة في 2019 بالتزامن مع الجهود الرامية لتعزيز التنوع في الأسواق والمنتجات، مما يسلط الضوء على المزايا الكبيرة التي تقدمها مصر للمستثمرين العالميين. ومع ترأس مصر للاتحاد الأفريقي العام المقبل، تواصل الحكومة المصرية بذل جهود حثيثة لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات الأجنبية، لتصبح بوابة العالم إلى القارة الأفريقية. ونأمل أن تساهم خططنا الجديدة في دعم تطوير البنى التحتية الرئيسية في مصر".

وحرصت "اينوك" خلال السنوات الماضية على تعزيز شراكاتها مع الناقلات والمزودين والمطارات، وتعمل حالياً على تزويد أكثر من 3 مليون جالون من وقود الطائرات يومياً. وأطلقت المجموعة عملياتها الدولية في قطاع الطيران عام 2002 لتشمل اليوم 152 مطاراً في 25 دولة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا وجنوب شرق آسيا وأوروبا. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، تدير "اينوك" أعمالها في مصر عبر شركتها التابعة "دراغون أويل" التي تمتلك بالكامل امتيازات منطقة شرق خليج الزيت.
