Schneider Electric and AVEVA, demonstrate the latest technologies for integrating smart city programs through a major city-based control center

Walid Sheta: Egypt has the potential to build smart cities with the latest technologies
Cairo, 26 November, 2018- Schneider Electric, the world leader in energy management and automation, will participate in Cairo ICT 2018, which will be held from 25th to the 28th of November at Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo. Schneider Electric is partnering with AVEVA a global leader in engineering and industrial software to provide the Egyptian market with the latest smart city technologies, which are being implemented in thousands of projects in more than 250 cities around the world for their ability to improve the efficiency of cities.
In collaboration with AVEVA, Schneider Electric will integrate smart city programs by optimizing energy through the EcoStruxure platform, which provides Internet-enabled solutions for objects for customers in the construction, power, industrial Sectors and data centers. This will facilitate cities to develop their infrastructure and improve the efficiency of the facilities through a strategic approach to improve efficiency, sustainability and the ability to withstand crises. This will consequently contribute to strengthening the infrastructure of the new cities currently being built in Egypt, especially smart cities, so that they can enjoy full vitality and safety in the management of all facilities.
Commenting on Schneider Electric's participation in Cairo ICT 2018, Engineer Walid Sheta, Regional Cluster President of Schneider Electric Egypt, Northeast Africa and Levant, said: "The urbanization movement currently taking place in Egypt encourages us to provide the latest technologies, especially in the smart cities sector to support Egypt's Vision 2030 as regards Sustainable development ".

Schneider Electric, together with AVEVA, in Cairo ICT 2018, will establish an integrated pavilion to showcase the latest Smart City technologies. A live experience will be presented to smart city users where they will view the full portfolio of programs and technologies and the Schneider Electric solutions required to manage the facilities of smart cities. This includes three smart city management levels:
Level I: Connected Products.
Level 2: Control and Supervision Programs (Edge Control)
Level 3: Application Analytics (Advisor Level)
In the addition to the innovative platform services to integrate all solutions and systems across the EcoStruxure software system, ensuring that all Schneider Electric customers have integrated support through Internet technology in such a manner as to ensure that customers have a higher value in terms of efficiency, sustainability and connectivity. Schneider Electric contributes in supporting the infrastructure of a number of modern cities in Egypt, including the New Administrative Capital, Al-Alamein City, and a number of private urban communities. It also aims to introduce the latest technologies to the official authorities in Egypt to benefit from modern technologies to strengthen the infrastructure of projects Including the Ministries of Electricity, Communications, Housing, as well as service providers, consultants, senior engineers, operations managers and contractors, in order for Egypt to have the latest smart city technologies in the world. AVEVA also features the Wonderware Smart Cities program, as well as a demonstration of a number of industry-leading software programs.

القاهرة، في 26 نوفمبر 2018-تشارك شنايدر إلكتريك، الشركة الرائدة عالميا في مجال إدارة الطاقة والتحكم الآلي، في معرض القاهرة الدولي للاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات Cairo ICT 2018، الذي يقام في الفترة من 25 وحتى 28 نوفمبر في مركز مصر للمعارض الدولية. تأتى مشاركة شنايدر إلكتريك بالتعاون مع شركة AVEVA المتخصصة في مجال توفير البرمجيات الهندسية لقطاع الصناعة والطاقة في العالم، من منطلق حرصها على تزويد السوق المصري بأحدث تكنولوجيات المدن الذكية، التي تطبقها في الآلاف من المشروعات في أكثر من 250 مدينة حول العالم لما تتميز به من قدرة علي تحسين كفاءة المدن.
تعرض شنايدر إلكتريك بالتعاون مع شركة AVEVA في معرضCairo ICT 2018، دمج برامج المدن الذكية، عن طريق الاستغلال الأمثل للطاقة من خلال منصة EcoStruxure التي توفر حلولاً مدعومة بتقنيات إنترنت الأشياء لمختلف العملاء في قطاعات البناء وشبكات الكهرباء والصناعة ومراكز البيانات، لمساعدة المدن على تطوير بنيتها التحتية وتحسين كفاءة المرافق من خلال نهج إستراتيجي لتحسين الكفاءة والاستدامة والقدرة على تحمل الأزمات، وأيضا المساهمة في تدعيم بنية المدن الجديدة التي يتم بنائها في مصر حاليا وخاصة المدن الذكية وتمتعها بالحيوية والأمان الكامل في إدارة كافة المرافق بها.

كما تقيم شنايدر إلكتريك بالتعاون مع AVEVA ضمن فعاليات Cairo ICT 2018 جناحاً متكاملاً لعرض أحدث تقنيات المدن الذكية، وسيتم عرض تجربة حية لمستخدمي المدن الذكية، يشاهدون خلاله المحفظة الكاملة للبرامج والتقنيات عبر شاشات عرض لمركز القيادة الرئيسي في المدن الذكية وما توفره حلول شنايدر إلكتريك لإدارة مرافق المدن الذكية، والتي تشمل ثلاث مستويات لإدارة المدن الذكية:

المستوى الثاني: برامج المراقبة والتحكم في هذه المنتجات ((Edge Control
المستوى الثالث: تحليلات التطبيقات ((Advisor Level.
