The consortium members of this project included Egyptian and European universities, NGOs, and international organizations.

The Keynote speakers are Nabila Makram, minister of immigration and Egyptian expatriate affairs; Tarek Shawki, minister of education; and a representative from the Participatory Development Program in Urban Areas (PDP) at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
