دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 25 أكتوبر 2018: كشفت ترانسيند (Transcend)، الشركة الرائدة في تطوير منتجات التخزين الفائقة والوسائط المتعددة، عن فوز مجموعة من منتجاتها بجوائز عديدة ضمن جوائز "جود ديزاين" التي تمنح في اليابان، فقد فازت عدة الترقية المعتمدة على قرص التخزين جت درايف 855 من نوع SSD والمصممة لأجهزة ماك جائزة العام 2018 من جوائز "جود ديزاين" بسبب تصميمها المبتكر والعملي، وتعتبر هذه الجائزة من أرقى جوائز التصميم في العالم المخصصة للمنتجات التقنية، إذ تقوم بتقييم أكثر من 4789 منتج من كافة أنحاء العالم.
وفي تعليقها على الموضوع، قالت لجنة جوائز "جود ديزاين"، إن الفكرة التي تطرحها عدة الترقية المعتمدة على قرص التخزين جت درايف 855 من نوع SSD والمصممة لأجهزة ماك مثيرة للاهتمام، لاسيما في ظل تركيزها على إعادة استخدام وسائط التخزين المهملة، كما أنها تطرح فكرة جديدة في الاستخدام وتوفر الراحة للمستخدمين.

تجمع عدّة الترقية جت درايف 855 بين القرص جت درايف 855 (NVMe) مع الجيل الثالث من منفذ (PCIe) مع حافظة خارجية من الألمنيوم الأنيق من نوع ثندربولت لكمبيوترات ماك. ويتمتع القرص جت درايف 850 بسرعات كبيرة في القراءة والكتابة تصل إلى 1600 ميجابايت في الثانية و 1400 ميجابايت في الثانية، كما أنه مصمّم بالاعتماد على خلايا الذاكرة من نوع (NAND) ثلاثية الأبعاد، كما أن الهيكل الخارجي من الألمنيوم الأنيق من نوع ثندربولت يوفر تجربة ترقية مبسّطة. ويعتبر كلا القرصين الترقية المثالية لكمبيوترات ماكبوك برو وماكبوك إر وماك ميني وماك برو.
