Schneider Electric Sponsors Europe Trip for Top Thanaweya Amma Students, takes them on tour at its plant in Badr City

  Cairo: 12th August, 2018--Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has organized a tour for 50 of this year's highest scoring Thanaweya Amma (high school) students at its manufacturing plant in Badr City, in a move to honour the young talents for their efforts and academic excellence.
  
  The company also announced it has teamed up with state-run publication Al-Gomhuria to sponsor a trip to Europe for top Thanaweya Amma graduates, with the aim of providing those exceptional talents the opportunity to develop intercultural competences as well as community-building, communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  The move is part of the company’s strategy to make a contribution to society and human resource development by enlarging young people's opportunities and enhancing their capabilities.
  
  "At Schneider Electric, we are very keen to be part of grooming a new generation of high-calibre future leaders as part of our strategy to give back to the community. Every year, a part of the company's revenues goes to this end," said Walid Sheta, Schneider Electric Regional Cluster Head of North East Africa and Levant.
  
  "We believe that human resources are the most valuable asset Egypt possesses and that education is a driving force for the development of the country. This belief has promoted the company to enter into numerous partnerships with a number of Egyptian universities and institutions to offer training programs to strengthen young Egyptians' skills and provide them with hands-on experience necessary for the job market," he added.
  
  The field visit to Schneider Electric's manufacturing plant was designed to introduce the students to the world of energy management and give them a glimpse of the company's automation and control products and solutions.
  
  During the tour, Schneider Electric's Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors, Sherif Abdel Fattah, gave a presentation explaining Schneider Electric's efforts in the field of education and vocational training.
  
  Abdel Fattah hailed the students for their excellent performance and said he is very enthusiastic about promoting development opportunities for the young talents who will shape the future of the country.
  
  
  
  "Those young people are the exceptional leaders of the future who can drive a marked change in our country. Schneider Electric is very much looking forward to seeing how they will create sustainable innovation and drive successful change," Abdel Fattah said.
  
  Schneider Electric has sponsored a number of initiatives designed to enhance technical education and professional training in Egypt. It has parented with several public and private Egyptian universities, including Cairo, Ain Shams, and Helwan to organize high-level training programs to groom a new generation of well-qualified engineers.
  
  The company also set up the Energy University, an online educational portal that has offered some 200 free energy and automation courses recognized by more than 20 international organizations.
  
  Other initiatives developed by the company include the “Seeds of Hope” program, organized in cooperation with the Don Bosco Institute in Cairo and Alexandria to enhance vocational education and technical skills in the Egyptian market. The company also provides technical training for electricians through its House of Electricians program.
  
  It also runs a summer internship program targeting fresh engineering and business graduates as well as third- and fourth-year university students.
  
  
  
  As students concluded their visit, Schneider Electric presented each one of them its Mobiya solar lantern as a token of appreciation to introduce them to the concepts of renewable energy.

  القاهرة في 12 أغسطس 2018، استقبلت شنايدر إليكتريك، الشركة الرائدة عالميا في مجال إدارة الطاقة والتشغيل الآلي، 50 طالباً وطالبة من أوائل شهادة الثانوية العامة لعام 2018 بمقر مصنعها في مدينة بدر الصناعية، في إطار حرص الشركة على تكريم المتفوقين ودعم إنجازات الشباب المصري المتميز.
  
  
  كما أعلنت "شنايدر إليكتريك" عن قيامها برعاية الرحلة السنوية التي تنظمها مؤسسة دار التحرير للطبع والنشر (الجمهورية)، لأوائل الثانوية العامة إلى أوروبا، تقديرا لجهدهم وتفوقهم الدراسي وتحفيزا لهم على مواصلة النجاح والتفوق. حيث تستهدف الشركة تنمية وتوسيع الأطر الفكرية لدي هؤلاء الطلاب المتفوقين وصقل شخصياتهم من خلال الاطلاع على الثقافات المختلفة. 
  
  
  وقد بدأت فعاليات الزيارة بترحيب من قبل العاملين في المصنع، بالطلاب الأوائل الذين قاموا بجولة تفقدية رافقهم فيها لفيف من مسئولي الشركة، حيث تعرفوا خلال الجولة على كافة مراحل تصنيع منتجات الشركة المتنوعة، مع شرح وافي لأحدث التكنولوجيات المستخدمة في المصنع الذي يوفر حلول متكاملة في مجالات إدارة الطاقة والسلامة.
  
  
  وقد صرح المهندس وليد شتا، الرئيس الإقليمي لشركة شنايدر إليكتريك مصر وشمال شرق إفريقيا والمشرق العربي: "نحن في شنايدر إليكتريك نشارك في تأهيل الكوادر المصرية لدعم استراتيجية التنمية المصرية من منطلق دورنا المجتمعي كأحد الشركات الكبرى العاملة في السوق المصرية، ونحرص على تخصيص جزء من أرباحنا لإعداد كوادر للمستقبل."
  
  
  وأضاف: "تضع "شنايدر إليكتريك" المنظومة التعليمية على رأس أولوياتها، باعتبارها الركيزة الأساسية لدعم المجتمع وبناء مستقبل أفضل لمصر، حيث تقوم الشركة بالتعاون مع مختلف المؤسسات والمبادرات التعليمية التي تعمل على تنمية الموارد البشرية وإتاحة الفرص أمام الشباب وتعزيز قدراتهم." 
  
  
  
  
  كما عبر المهندس شريف عبد الفتاح، عضو مجلس الإدارة ونائب رئيس الشركة، عن سعادته بلقاء صفوة طلاب وطالبات الثانوية العامة ووجه لهم التحية لما بذلوه من جهد كبير، متمنيًا لهم تحقيق المزيد من النجاح في كافة المجالات خلال مسيرتهم المستقبلية.
  
  
  وقال المهندس شريف عبد الفتاح: "هؤلاء الشباب هم قادة المستقبل وبإمكانهم إحداث تغييرا فعالا في بلدنا الحبيبة مصر، ونحن في شنايدر إليكتريك نتطلع لرؤية مساهمات هؤلاء النوابغ في منظومة الابتكار المستدام وتأدية رسالتهم وواجبهم تجاه الوطن عبر دفع عجلة التنمية في مصرنا الحبيبة."
  
  
  كما قدم المهندس شريف عبد الفتاح عرضا توضيحيا شرح فيه جهود الشركة في دعم مجالات التعليم والتدريب المهني، حيث تحرص "شنايدر إليكتريك" على تقديم برامج التدريب الصيفي كل عام لطلبة كليات الهندسة وإدارة الأعمال، بالإضافة إلي أن الشركة لديها برامج تعاون مع كليات الهندسة المصرية لتدريب طلبة أقسام الكهرباء على نظم إدارة الطاقة والتحكم الآلي خاصة في كليات الهندسة بجامعات القاهرة وعين شمس وحلوان ، وتدريب المهندسين المصريين على تكنولوجيات المدن الحديثة في معامل "شنايدر إليكتريك" في نقابة المهندسين، وبرامج التدريب الفني لطلبة التعليم الفني، من خلال برنامج "بذرة أمل" لطلبة معهد "دون بوسكو". كما تقدم الشركة لفنيين الكهرباء برامج تدريبية على أحدث نظم التركيبات الكهربائية من خلال "بيت شنايدر إليكتريك للكهربائية". 
  
  
  وتأتى "جامعة الطاقة - Energy University.com" كأحد أهم إنجازات شركة شنايدر إليكتريك، حيث تستثمر الشركة في إعداد الكوادر البشرية من خلال بوابة إليكترونية تعليمية مجانية، وهي بوابة مستقلة وفريدة من نوعها في قطاع إدارة الطاقة والتحكم الآلي، وتوفر أكثر من 200 دورة مجانية.
  
  
  وفي نهاية زيارة الطلاب قدمت لهم الشركة هدية تذكارية عبارة عن أحد منتجات الطاقة الشمسية "موبيا"، وذلك لتعريفهم بمفاهيم وفوائد الطاقة المتجددة. وقد عبر الطلاب عن سعادتهم بهذه الزيارة المتميزة، مؤكدين فخرهم الشديد بوجود مصنع بهذا الحجم في مصر ومثل هذه الإمكانيات المتقدمة.
