Cairo, Egypt, 8 August 2018: Seiko Epson Corporation announces that cumulative global sales of Epson's high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers have reached 30 million units.
Epson first launched high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers in October 2010 in Indonesia. The company had by the end of FY2017 (ended March 2018) introduced the printers in about 150 countries and regions, with growth in emerging economies causing the proportion of high-capacity ink tank products in the overall inkjet printer market to grow annually. Epson has continued to maintain the number one share of the market*2 in these products due to its strong brand recognition in the market and its abundant lineup.
In FY2018 (ending March 2019), Epson will further accelerate the shift from conventional ink cartridge models to high-capacity ink tank models with the aim of establishing the latter as the inkjet printer mainstream. In both emerging and advanced economies, the company will also continue to promote the replacement of laser printers with high-capacity ink tank inkjet printers by enhancing its lineup with products with overwhelming cost performance and enhanced easy-of-use. Through these efforts, Epson plans to sell 9.5 million high-capacity ink tank products in FY2018 - an increase of 20% compared to the previous fiscal year. This is expected to account for about 55% of total Epson inkjet printer sales.
Jason Whiley, director of sales, Epson Middle East, says, "High-capacity ink tank inkjet printers allow the users to print faster and get a great quality pictures with low coast. We are focused on Inkjet printers because, they are easier to maintain than laser printers. We will keep improving our Ink tank printers to serve a high-quality product to our customers."

القاهرة، مصر، 8 أغسطس 2018: أعلنت شركة سيكو إبسون أن المبيعات العالمية التراكمية لطابعات إبسون النافثة للحبر ذات خزان الحبر عالي السعة قد وصلت إلى 30 مليون وحدة.
وكانت إبسون قد طرحت الطابعات النافثة للحبر ذات خزان الحبر عالي السعة لأول مرة في أكتوبر 2010 في إندونيسيا. وبحلول نهاية السنة المالية 2017 (التي انتهت في مارس 2018)، تكون الشركة قد طرحت الطابعات في حوالي 150 دولة ومنطقة، حيث أدى النمو في الاقتصادات الناشئة إلى زيادة نسبة منتجات خزان الحبر عالي السعة في سوق الطابعات النافثة للحبر كليًا بمعدّل سنوي. وقد واصلت إبسون الحفاظ على الحصة الأولى من السوق*2 في هذه المنتجات نظرًا لما تتميز به علامتها التجارية من مكانة متميزة في السوق وطرحها لمنتجاتها بكميات وفيرة.
في السنة المالية 2018 (التي ستنتهي في مارس 2019)، ستعمل إبسون على زيادة سرعة التحول من طرز خراطيش الحبر التقليدية إلى طرز خزان الحبر عالي السعة لتكون بمثابة الطابعات النافثة للحبر الرئيسية الأكثر تداولاً. في كل من الاقتصادات الناشئة والمتقدمة، ستواصل الشركة أيضًا الترويج لاستبدال طابعات الليزر بالطابعات النافثة للحبر ذات خزان الحبر عالي السعة من خلال تعزيز مجموعة منتجاتها المطروحة بمنتجات تتميز بأداء فائق في التكلفة وسهولة استخدام مطوّرة. ومن خلال هذه الجهود، تسعى إبسون إلى بيع 9.5 مليون وحدة من منتجات خزان الحبر عالي السعة في السنة المالية 2018 - بزيادة قدرها 20% مقارنة بالسنة المالية السابقة. ومن المتوقع أن يمثل هذا حوالي 55% من إجمالي مبيعات طابعات إبسون النافثة للحبر.
وفي هذا الصدد قال السيد جاسون وايلي، مدير المبيعات في شركة إبسون الشرق الأوسط: "تسمح الطابعات النافثة للحبر ذات خزان الحبر عالي السعة للمستخدمين بالطباعة بشكل أسرع والحصول على صور عالية الجودة بتكلفة منخفضة. ونحن نركز على الطابعات النافثة للحبر لأنه يسهل صيانتها والحفاظ عليها أكثر من طابعات الليزر. سنستمر في تحسين طابعاتنا ذات خزان الحبر لتقديم منتج عالي الجودة لعملائنا."
