Tech giant talks ‘digital’ at the Gulf Print and Pack Summit

Xerox to discuss new trends and technologies that drive digital transformation wave in the Middle East and Africa

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 4th March 2018: Xerox Corporation, the leading global document technology provider, has discussed the importance of the digital transformation for governments and the private sector in the Middle East during the opening of the Gulf Print and Pack Summit in Dubai. In-line with regional efforts to adopt innovative technologies thus drive growth and efficiency, Xerox highlighted some of the key market trends that will drive this transformation. It has also emphasized on issues and obstacles that prevent organizations from successfully migrating work to digital.

“The Middle East is transforming and most of the regional governments lead by example by presenting innovative visions and setting new goals. ‘Dubai Paperless Strategy’, launched last month by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, is one of the best examples of the digital transformation revolution that is taking place,” said Chris Lynch, Head of Production at Xerox.

Chris added: “As part of the two-day event, which brings together key members and organizations from the printing industry, we will meet with commercial enterprises and print service providers (PSP) to help them understand how they can optimize their operations through innovative printing solutions that will eliminate or minimize their printing costs and material wastage – while leveraging new market opportunities as they become more digitalized.”

Xerox has further highlighted some of the biggest opportunities and applications that commercial enterprises and PSPs can adopt to facilitate, optimize and leverage across their workplace environments. ‘Touchless’ work migration for automated workflows, multi-channel and cross-media communications, Web2Print technology, sustainable ‘evergreen’ printed materials through augmented reality and mass customization and personalization are some of the key Xerox technologies that are being demonstrated to event delegates.

Highlighting Xerox’s commitment to their channel partners in the Middle East and Africa region, Chris has further elaborated: “We are discussing Xerox’s solutions, tools, and resources that we bring to the market, in addition to our printing hardware. They are designed to support PSP’s in entering the digital space and delivering a strong return on their digital investments. These are new and unique services which Xerox offers to help our partners and customers better understand where the opportunities lie within their markets. Furthermore, we offer them strategies they can take advantage of to help them deliver against these opporunties.”

Xerox’s experts are available at the Gulf Print & Pack Summit 2018 to have one-on-one discussions with business owners, outlining how they can deliver stronger ROI through Xerox’s latest innovative document management, workflow automation and printing solutions.
