LBS comes first among graduate business schools according to the FT’s European Business School 2017 ranking
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 5 December 2017: In detailed analysis covering the top 95 graduate business schools in Europe, the Financial Times has ranked London Business School (LBS) – which has an expanding programme in Dubai - as the top school in Europe for the fourth year running.
The ranking represents arguably the most comprehensive assessment of European business education today, measuring the quality and breadth of graduate business schools’ programmes.
The FT’s league table assesses both degree and executive education programmes, and covers the Executive MBA (EMBA), MBA, Masters in Management (MIM) as well as Open and Custom designed Executive Education programmes.

LBS is well known in Dubai, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the city. Based in the purpose-built education facility in the Dubai International Financial Centre, the School offers the Executive MBA programme to senior managers who typically bring ten or more years’ experience to the class.
The FT’s report shows that graduates of LBS’s Executive MBA typically find that three years after graduating from the School, their salary is 55% higher than when they embarked on their programme.
A key contributor to LBS’s number one European position are its open and custom Executive Education programmes which, on a world-wide basis, currently serve more than 10,000 executives each year. From spring 2018, the Dubai campus of LBS will welcome its own cohort of Executive Education participants.
While LBS tops the European business school ranking, it operates globally; in addition to its Dubai campus, it has partnerships with Columbia University in the US, the Fudan School of Management in Shanghai and the University of Hong Kong.
The FT’s analysis also assesses the salary increases achieved by those who have passed through its MBA and Masters in Management programmes. LBS’s MBA alumni typically enjoy a salary increase of 92% just three years after graduating from the School. The MBA programme is very flexible and can be completed in 15, 18 or 21 months and tailored to an individual’s interests with the opportunity to take part in international exchanges.
Alumni of the Masters in Management programme receive, on average, a salary uplift of 63% three years after graduation. It is a one year, full-time programme which provides the foundations to a successful business career and is designed for graduates with less than two years of work experience.
