Nick
Witty brings over 29 years of real estate experience to drive corporate
expansion plans throughout the MENA region
International property specialist,
Chestertons, has appointed Nick Witty as Managing Director, overseeing
operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Witty had previously been appointed
country manager for Qatar earlier this year. He brings more than 29 years’ experience
to the role, with an impressive track record in the real estate industry
covering a range of disciplines including acquisition and disposal, development
feasibility, facilities and property management, leasing, marketing and
valuation.
Witty is no stranger to the region,
having been based in the Middle East since 1998, including five years in
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Chestertons, he held positions with
Deloitte as Head of Real Estate (Northern Gulf) and for DTZ (Cushman Wakefield)
as Regional Managing Director, based in Doha.
Chestertons MENA Chairman, Salah Mussa, said: “Nick joins
the team at an exciting time as the company eyes further expansion throughout
the MENA region. His expertise dealing with multi-national corporates and financial
institutions will be crucial, especially when directing strategy and driving our
business forward.”
A native of the United Kingdom, Witty graduated from Nottingham
Trent University where he attained a BSc (Hons) in Urban Estate Surveying.
Witty qualified as a Chartered Surveyor
in 1992 while working for DTZ in London and is also a Registered Valuer of the
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
“The UAE remains one of the most dynamic real estate
markets in the region. We have seen major infrastructure projects, particular
those related to Expo 2020, gain momentum over recent months, and I am looking
forward to capitalising on the opportunities and addressing the challenges that
the industry may face over the coming years. We will utilise the expertise we
have in our team and harness the strength of Chestertons’ international network
of offices, particularly in the UK, where the current pre-Brexit uncertainty will
provide major opportunities for overseas investors,” said Witty.
Headquartered in Dubai, Chestertons MENA operates four
offices in the region, covering the whole GCC region – with over 100 employees
in total. The MENA business is comprised of five divisions: Valuations and
Advisory; Residential and Commercial agency; Property Management; London Sales
and Investment; and International Sales and Investment.

أعلنت
شركة "تشيسترتنس" الدولية المتخصصة في القطاع العقاري، عن تعيين نيك
ويتي في منصب المدير التنفيذي للإشراف على عمليات الشركة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط
وشمال أفريقيا.
ويتمتع
نيك ويتي بخبرة غنية تمتد لحوالي 29 عاماً في القطاع، ولديه سجل حافل بالإنجازات
البارزة في مجموعة من التخصصات بما في ذلك عمليات الاستحواذ وجدوى المشاريع،
وإدارة المرافق والعقارات، وخدمات التأجير والتسويق والتقييم.
كما
أنه يمتلك معرفة واسعة بأسواق منطقة الشرق الأوسط بدأت منذ قدومه إليها في عام 1998،
وقضى منها خمسة سنوات في مدينة جدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية. وقبل انضمامه إلى
شركة "تشيسترتنس"، شغل نيك منصب قطاع العقارات في شركة "ديلويت"
ومنصب المدير الإقليمي في شركة دي تي ذد (كوشمان ويكفيلد).
ومن
جانبه قال صلاح موسى، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة "تشيسترتنس" الشرق الأوسط

جدير
بالذكر أن نيك ويتي من المملكة المتحدة، وتخرج من جامعة نوتنغهام ترينت حيث حصل
على درجة البكالوريوس (مع مرتبة الشرف) في مجال مسح المناطق الحضرية.
وهو معتمد من قبل مؤسسة تشارترد منذ العام 1992 حينما كان يعمل في شركة دي تي ذد بمدينة
لندن.
وعلق

دبي، ولديها أربعة مكاتب في المنطقة تغطي منطقة الخليج بأكملها، ويعمل لديها أكثر من
