NFS plans to invest 100 million Euros in Telecel operations for the development of Telecom projects in Africa
BARCELONA, Spain, March 3, 2017, (ME NewsWire): At the Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2017, NFS, the holding company of Telecel and Telecel Global, announced its strategic plan for entering the capital markets via a merger with German listed company HPI AG and its intention to invest more than 100 million Euros in the Telecom sector in Africa. The funds will accelerate the development of Telecel operations across the African continent and will be used for the acquisition of multiple assets.
Telecel Global, the international service provider for voice, data and SMS, will develop its MVNO license in South Africa and will launch its operations within the year. Malek Atrissi, Director and COO of Telecel Global, said “South Africa is a competitive market, yet when viewed with our innovative and integrated approach, we believe we will take advantage of the digital transformation witnessed in the telecom industry worldwide and develop enhanced and customized services in line with the market requirements. Under the strategic plan, Telecel Central Africa is to reinforce its market leadership position in the Republic of Central Africa, and NFS is to close M&A deals under negotiation, including the acquisition of MNOs in various African markets. HPI AG, a stock exchange listed German company, which is specialized in Information Technology, had previously considered investing in the Telecom Industry being part of its business integration strategy.

برشلونة، إسبانيا، 3 مارس 2017, ("إم إي نيوز واير"): أعلنت شركة "إن إف إس"، الشركة القابضة التي تضم كلاً من "تيليسيل" و"تيليسيل جلوبال"، خلال فعاليات المؤتمر العالمي للجوال 2017 في برشلونة، عن خططها الاستراتيجية لدخول سوق رأس المال من خلال اندماجها مع "إتش بيه آي إيه جي" وهي شركة ألمانية مدرجة. كما تعتزم شركة "إن إف إس" استثمار أكثر من 100 مليون يورو في قطاع الاتصالات في أفريقيا. وسوف يساهم هذا التمويل بتسريع عمليات تطوير شركة "تيليسيل" في القارة الأفريقية، إضافةً لاستخدامه في الاستحواذ على عدد من الأصول قيد الدراسة.
وستقوم شركة "تيليسيل جلوبال"، المزودة الدولية لخدمات الاتصال والبيانات والرسائل القصيرة، بتطوير رخصة مشغل شبكة الجوال الافتراضية "MVNO" الخاصة بها في جنوب أفريقيا، حيث ستطلق عملياتها خلال العام الجاري. وقال مالك عتريسي، المدير والرئيس التنفيذي لشؤون العمليات لشركة "تيليسيل جلوبال": "تعتبر جنوب أفريقيا سوقاً تنافسياً، ولكن عند دراستها من منظور ابتكاراتنا وتوجهنا الشامل، فنحن نعتقد بأننا سنستفيد من التحول الرقمي الذي يشهده قطاع الاتصالات في العالم وسنقوم بتطوير خدمات محسّنة ومخصّصة تتناسب مع متطلبات السوق. وستعزز الاستثمارات المقبلة من حضورنا في القارة الأفريقية، وستضمن مساهمتنا في توفير المنافع الاجتماعية والاقتصادية للمواطنين في المنطقة".
