Company’s channel awards gives recognition to partners’ significant contributions in 2016
DUBAI, UAE, February 19, 2017 – Genetec Inc. (Genetec), a leading provider of IP security and intelligence solutions, successfully hosted the Genetec Middle East Channel Partner Awards to honour top-performing partners in the Middle East in recognition of their outstanding achievements in 2016. The special gala ceremony, held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai, was attended by top executives from the region’s Genetec Channel Partner community.
According to the company’s senior executives, the Genetec Channel Partners Awards is one of the many activities lined up to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. Founded in 1997 at a time when organizations were using analog technology, Genetec had the intuition and vision to recognize the potential of digital technology which was then used only for point-to-point transmission systems. Video quality was limited by the resolution of NTSC and PAL formats and internet protocol (IP) technology was still in its stages of infancy. In the last 20 years, Genetec has established strong alliances with like-minded technology partners who thrive on innovation. Its technology partners have built products that enhance and maximize the features of Genetec’s video surveillance and access control systems, enabling it to deliver the best solutions and offer boundless application possibilities to various markets.

"جنيتيك" تكرّم أفضل شركائها أداءً في مجال التوزيع في الشرق الأوسط
19 فبراير 2017 - كرّمت "جنيتيك"، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في مجال توفير حلول الأمن والمعلومات القائمة على بروتوكول الإنترنت، أفضل شركائها بتوزيع جوائز "جنيتيك" لقنوات التوزيع في الشرق الأوسط، وذلك تقديراً لمساهماتهم الكبيرة خلال العام الماضي. وجرى التكريم خلال حفل عشاء أقيم في فندق شانغريلا في دبي وذلك في حضور كبار المسؤولين التنفيذيين من شركاء التوزيع لشركة "جنيتيك" في المنطقة.
وتعد جوائز "جنيتيك" لقنوات التوزيع إحدى النشاطات العديدة التي تأتي في إطار احتفال الشركة بالذكرى السنوية العشرين لتأسيسها. وتبنت "جنيتيك"، التي تأسست خلال العام 1997، حين كانت الشركات تعتمد التكنولوجيا التناظرية، مفهوماً ورؤية للاستفادة من قدرات التكنولوجيا الرقمية التي كانت تستخدم حينذاك في أنظمة الاتصال من نقطة إلى نقطة. وفي ذلك الوقت كانت جودة الفيديو محدودة وبدقة نظامي "بال" (PAL) و"أن. تي. أس. سي" (NTSC)، كما أن تكنولوجيا بروتوكول الإنترنت كانت لا تزال في بداياتها. وفي السنوات العشرين الأخيرة، أنشأت "جنيتيك" تحالفات قوية مع شركات التكنولوجيا المماثلة الناجحة في مجال الابتكار، حيث قام هؤلاء الشركاء بتطوير منتجات ساهمت في تعزيز وتوسيع مميزات أنظمة المراقبة بالفيديو وأنظمة التحكم بالدخول من "جنيتيك"، الأمر الذي مكنها من تقديم أفضل الحلول وتوفير إمكانيات لا حصر لها للتطبيقات لمختلف الأسواق.
