Ericsson, a leader in the telecommunications and information technology sector, announced its participation in the 20th Cairo International Fair of Information and Communication Technology (Cairo ICT) scheduled to take place at the Cairo International Conference Center November 27th to 30th under the slogan: "Digital Disruption Era."
Ericsson will participate this year through a private booth in the exhibition showcasing its latest technological solutions. Ericsson will also discuss how the Egyptian society can take advantage of the applications and telecom services that facilitate citizens’ daily lives.
Helene Henriksson, Head of Ericsson Egypt, said on the occasion: "The main objective of Ericsson’s participation this year is to focus on the Networked Society and the Internet of Things / IoT. We will will furthermore focus on presneting our future plans and strategies as a leader in the field of telecommunications and information technology, in addition to how expanding uses of the fourth generation can achieve maximum benefit for all. "
Ericsson’s participation also primarily aims to provide visitors and guests of the show with all the information necessary about the uses of technology and solutions that will help in the deployment of the 4G in the coming period. The company will also showcase the latest cutting-edge, global technology solutions which have already received preparations on the international level.
Helene continued, "this is not the first time that Ericsson participates in this important exhibition; the company is keen to be present at Cairo ICT in order to showcase what is new and being developed in terms of ideas and projects in the Networked Society.”
Cairo ICT celebrates this year its 20th anniversary since its launch in Egypt. This year’s theme, "Towards a Digital Transformation," comes in line with the launch of the fourth generation for mobile phone services which will change Egyptian’s lives entering into a new era known as the "Disruption Digital Era."

أعلنت شركة إريكسون العالمية الرائدة بقطاع اﻹتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات عن مشاركتها فى الدورة الـ 20 لمعرض القاهرة الدولى للإتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات Cairo ICT والمقرر إقامته في مركز القاهرة الدولي للمؤتمرات خلال الفترة من 27 -30 نوفمبر الجاري تحت شعار"نحو التحول الرقمي."
تستعرض إريكسون هذا العام خلال جناحها الخاص بالمعرض أحدث التقنيات والحلول التكنولوجية المتعلقة بشبكات الجيل الرابع، وكيفية تهيئة المجتمع المصرى للاستفادة من التطبيقات والخدمات والتى تسهم فى تسهيل حياه المواطينين فى اعمالهم اليومية.
ومن جانبها صرحت هيلين هينركسون – رئيس شركة إريكسون مصر "إن الهدف الأساسي من مشاركة إريكسون هو التركيز على المجتمع الشبكي بالإضافة إلى عنصر جديد وهو إنترنت الأشياء، كما ستركز إريكسون علي عرض أهم ملامح خططها المستقبلية كشركة رائدة في مجال الإتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، وكيفية التوسع والإنتشار فى إستخدامات الجيل الرابع بما يحقق الإستفادة القصوى منها".
كما تهدف مشاركة إريكسون بشكل أساسي علي تزويد زوار وضيوف المعرض بكافة المعلومات عن إستخدام التكنولوجيا والحلول التي سوف تساعد في نشر الجيل الرابع خلال الفترة القادمة، وكذلك إستعراض أحدث الحلول التكنولوجية العالمية المتطورة والتى بدأ الإستعداد لها على مستوى العالم.
وتابعت هيلين: "إن هذه ليست المرة الأولى التي تقوم إريكسون بالمشاركة في هذا المعرض الدولي الهام، حيث تحرص الشركة على التواجد في Cairo ICT لعرض أهم أعمالها وكل ما هو جديد وما تقوم بتطويره من أفكار ومشروعات في مجالات المجتمع الشبكي والمدن الذكية علي سبيل المثال".

Cairo ICT يحتفل هذا العام بمرور 20 عاماً على إنطلاقه لأول مرة على أرض مصر، وياتى تحت شعار "نحو التحول الرقمى" متماشياً مع إطلاق خدمات الجيل الرابع للهاتف المحمول وتغير شكل الحياة من خلال إبتكارات تغير من شكل الحياة التي نعيشها كل يوم، هذه التغييرات خلقت عصراً جديداً هو الـ “Disruption Digital Era” والذي غير من أسلوبنا في التعامل مع أبسط تفاصيل الحياة. |
