WHAT
The fifth annual welcome and recognition ceremony for new and returning scholarship students at The American University in Cairo (AUC). The ceremony aims to welcome new students who are awarded scholarships in the academic year 2015-2016 and to give achievement certificates to outstanding returning scholarship students with highest GPAs. Scholarships include the Public School Scholarship, Empower, Orascom Construction, Tomorrow’s Leaders and several named scholarships. During the event, successful scholarship students and alumni will showcase their experiences at AUC and share advice to new recipients of various scholarships. In addition, AUC President Francis Ricciardone will distribute certificates of recognition to top scholarship students.
