Local hosting to offer UAE and regional-based businesses with key advantages of increased security and improved performance

Data security and the continuing emergence of digital innovations are poised to play a significant role in the UAE’s efforts to drive in more digital economic growth, says Buzinessware, a leading Middle East Internet Infrastructure service provider. Buzinessware’s statements complement a recent report from Deloitte Middle East showing that the region’s digital economy is set to double over the next three years, passing the USD 30 billion mark by 2018 after registering nearly 30 per cent growth in 2015. According to Buzinessware's recent research report, 91 per cent of an estimated 335,450 companies in the UAE are known to host offshore, at an average cost of AED 800 annually, while local hosting packages are priced at AED 365 for the same service and data allowance. The report also states that the country’s economy could save over AED 132 million annually by switching to local web hosting options. With this in mind, Buzinessware has expressed its confidence in securing around 100,000 customers by 2020.

06 يونيو 2016 - أفادت "بيزنس وير"، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في مجال توفير خدمات البنية التحتية للإنترنت في الشرق الأوسط، بأنه من المتوقع أن تلعب خدمات أمن البيانات والابتكارات الرقمية الجديدة دوراً هاماً في جهود دولة الإمارات الرامية إلى تعزيز نمو الاقتصاد الرقمي. كما أشارت الشركة إلى أن خدمات الاستضافة المحلية لخدمات الإنترنت من شأنها أن تزود الشركات العاملة في دولة الإمارات والمنطقة بمزايا وفوائد هامة، بما في ذلك زيادة المستويات الأمنية وتحسين الأداء. ويأتي تصريح "بيزنس وير" استكمالاً لما ورد في تقرير حديث صادر عن "ديلويت الشرق الأوسط" والذي أشار إلى توقعات بوصول حجم الاقتصاد الرقمي في المنطقة إلى الضعف في السنوات الثلاثة المقبلة، ليتخطى حاجز الـ 30 مليار دولار بحلول العام 2018 بعد أن سجل نمواً بما يقارب الـ 30% في العام الماضي. ويوضح هذا النمو الطبيعة المتنامية لاستخدام الإنترنت في مختلف أنحاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.
ووفقاً لتقرير صدر مؤخراً عن "بيزنس وير"، فإن 91% من الشركات المقدر عددها بـ 335.450 شركة في دولة الإمارات يتم استضافة خدماتها في الخارج، وبمتوسط تكلفة يبلغ 800 درهم سنوياً، في حين أن أسعار عروض الاستضافة المحلية لا تتجاوز الـ 365 درهم لنفس الخدمات ونفس مقدار البيانات المقدم. كما يشير التقرير إلى أن اقتصاد الدولة يمكن أن يوفر 132 مليون درهم سنوياً عن طريق تحويل استضافة مواقع الإنترنت محلياً. ومع أخذ ذلك بعين الاعتبار، أعربت "بيزنس وير" عن ثقتها في تأمين حوالي 100.000 عميل بحلول العام 2020.

وتمتلك دولة الإمارات اليوم بنية تحتية عالمية المستوى تتيح القدرة على استضافة كميات كبيرة من البيانات للشركات العاملة في المنطقة، وهو الأمر الذي لا يمكن لأي بلد آخر في مجلس التعاون الخليجي توفيره. ويتوقع أن تزود الاستضافة المحلية الشركات العاملة في دولة الإمارات والمنطقة بحلول آمنة وأداء قوي. وعندما يكون المحتوى الذي يتم الوصول إليه من قبل المستخدمين المحليين مستضافاً في الخارج، فيجب عليه أن يجتاز روابط دولية مكلفة ومشروطة، الأمر الذي يمكن أن يؤثر كثيراً على تجربة المستخدم مع زيادة في التأخير. أما حلول الاستضافة المحلية فتزيد من سرعة المواقع الإلكترونية ومحرك البحث عند القيام بزيارة المواقع من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
