Turkey has a four-thousand year production history that started with the Marmara Island. More than 400 different colours textures and patterns of natural stones are found from the Marmara and Aegean Regions and in the geographical regions from the Thrace to the Eastern Anatolia. The natural stones include granite, onyx, limestone, basalt, andesite, slate stone, diabase, marble and travertine.
