Dubai, 24 May, 2016—Tecbuy Electronics Trading LLC, a leading IT solutions enabler and exclusive electronics concessionaire of the global leader in retail entertainment throughout the middle east region, Virgin Megastore Middle East, has bagged three awards in the first half of a very successful 2016.
Tecbuy took home the Channel ME 2016 award for ‘Power Retailer of the Year’ at the 9thannual awards concluded in April. Tecbuy was previously nominated for the Channel ME award in 2015, but this is the first time the company has won the award, beating other nominees Jumbo Electronics, Emax Electronics, and Jacky’s Electronics.
At the recently concluded DISTREE Middle East Retail Awards (MERA) 2016, Tecbuy bagged two more awards, taking home the newly established ‘Retail Executive of the Decade’ award that was bestowed on Tecbuy CEO, Mr. Dikran Tchablakian, and the ‘Specialist Retailer of the Year-UAE’ award that Virgin Megastores won.
These awards were open to all consumer electronics retailers in the Middle East, and recognises the IT and consumer electronics retailer that has worked the hardest at increasing the quality of consumers’ retail experience and customer service relations in the Middle East region. DISTREE’s new award ‘Retailer of the Decade’ award was commissioned to highlight outstanding achievement on the development of the consumer technology retailing by the region’s most influential retailers.
“Winning these awards are a result of the strategies we have followed over the past 12 months and beyond in improving our service offerings, customer relations, and service centres. We are delighted that our efforts have been recognized through receiving these awards and consider it a deserving nod towards our hard work in the region,” said Mr. Hakim Amar, Regional Operations Director, Tecbuy.
Tecbuy currently operates in dedicated spaces within 16 Virgin Megastores across the Middle East region, including 2 in Qatar, and 1 each in Bahrain and Oman. The remaining 12 are located in the UAE and include 3 flagship stores that carry the widest range of products.
Tecbuy has been constantly working on improving their service offerings and customer service by expanding the number of their PC Klinic locations across the region, renovating their two flagship areas inside Virgin Megastores at the Mall of the Emirates and the Dubai Mall to include new technology concepts such as wireless security devices, smart key lockers, and smart demo devices.
Tecbuy also plans on expanding their SIS (Store-in-Store or Shop-in-Shop which refers to a dedicated area and space for vendors in a retail shop) services with major brands such as Acer/Predator, LG, and Huawei, and increase their product lines with offerings for kids, outdoor and camping products.
Tecbuy notes that some of the popular brands and devices in the Middle East market are gaming laptops, such as Alienware, Razer, Asus, Acer Predator, and gaming accessories from Razer, Logitech, and E-Blue; Action cameras are also popular in the market, of which GoPro, AEE, and Rollei are the most notable brands; High end Smartphones such as iPhones (and the iPhone gold-plated Givori, Lamborghini Smartphone) and Samsung’s latest device; Gadgets and lifestyle products such as the Samsung VR, Smart Watch, and Wacom: graphics tablets are hot sellers too in the region.
Channel ME’s awards seeks to recognize the accomplishments of the Middle East IT channel industry for vendors, distributors, resellers, and retailers. This year’s event attracted over 360 IT leaders from across the Middle East region.

الرائدة عالمياً في مجال الترفيه في جميع أنحاء منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
ونالت "تك باي" جائزة "تشانيل الشرق
الأوسط" 2016، كأفضل تاجر تجزئة لهذا العام، خلال حفل توزيع الجوائز التاسع الذي
أقيم في أبريل الماضي. وكانت قد رشحت لهذه الجائزة في العام 2015، لكنها المرّة الأولى التي تفوز فيها على باقي المرشحين، ومنهم "جامبو"
للإلكترونيات، و"إيماكس" للإلكترونيّات، و"جاكي" للإلكترونيّات.
كما حازت "تك باي" على جائزتين إضافيتين،
خلال حفل توزيع جوائز DISTREE Middle East Retail
Awards (MERA) للشرق
الأوسط 2016، هما جائزة "أفضل تاجر تجزئة للعقد"، التي نالها
المدير التنفيذي للشركة السيّد ديكران تشابلاكيان، وجائزة أفضل تاجر تجزئة متخصص
للعام في دولة الإمارات العربيّة المتحدة، والتي نالتها "فيرجين ميغاستورز".
وكانت هذه الجوائز متاحة لجميع تجار التجزئة للإلكترونيّات
في الشرق الأوسط، وكشفت عن متاجر التجزئة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والإلكترونيات التي
عملت جاهدةً على الارتقاء بتجربة المستهلك الفردي، وخدمة العملاء في هذه المنطقة. وجاءت
جائزة أفضل تاجر تجزئة للعقد، كإضاءة جديدة على الإنجازات الكبيرة في مجال تطوير
تجارة التكنولوجيا بالتجزئة من قبل التجار الأكثر تأثيراً في المنطقة.
وتعليقاً على هذا الإنجاز، قال مدير العلاقات الإقليمي لدى "تك باي"،
السيّد حكيم قمر:"نيلنا هذه الجوائز جاء نتيجة اتباعنا استراتيجيّات علىمدى العام الماضي بكامله، بهدف تحسين خدماتنا وتطوير علاقتنا
بالعملاء وتفعيل مراكز الخدمة. ويسعدنا أن نحصد ثمرة جهودنا من خلال تلقينا هذه
الجوائز، ونعتبر الأمر بمثابة علامةٍ إيجابيّة لعملنا الجاد في المنطقة".
تعمل "تك باي" حالياً في مساحاتٍ مختارة ضمن
ستة عشر فرعاً تابعاً لـ "فيرجن ميغاستورز"، في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، بما
فيها اثنان في قطر، وواحد في كل من البحرين وسلطنة عمان. وتقع الفروع الإثنا عشر
المتبقية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وتشمل ثلاثة متاجر رئيسية توفر أوسع
مجموعة من المنتجات.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ "تك باي" تعمل بشكلٍ
حثيث على تحسين مستوى الخدمات، والارتقاء بخدمة العملاء، من خلال توسيع عدد
"عيادات الكمبيوتر" في المنطقة، وتجديد أكبر منطقتين لها في "فيرجن
ميغاستورز" مول الإمارات ودبي مول، ليتضمنا مفاهيم تكنولوجيّة جديدة، مثل
أجهزة أمان الشبكات اللاسلكية، ومفاتيح التأمين الذكية وأجهزة العرض الذكية.
كما تخطط "تك باي" لتوسيع فكرة حضورها من
خلال "متجر ضمن متجر"، التي تعني وجود منطقة ومساحة مخصصتين للبائعين في
محل تجزئة، وتتضمّن خدمات لعلامات تجارية كبرى، مثل شركات "أيسر/ بريديتور"
و"إل جي" و"هواوي"، وزيادة خطوط الإنتاج مع العروض الخاصة بمنتجات
الأطفال للتخييم والنشاطات الخارجيّة.
لاحظت "تك باي" أنّ بعض الأجهزة والعلامات التجارية المعروفة
في أسواق الشرق الأوسط تقع في مجال ألعاب الكمبيوتر، مثل "آليان واير"، "رايزر"،
"آسوس"، و"أيسر بريديتور"، ومستلزمات الألعاب من "رايزر"
و"لوجي تك" و"إي- بلو". بالإضافة إلى الكاميرات المشهورة في
الأسواق، مثل "رول" و"آي إي إي" و"غو برو"، وكذلك الهواتف الذكيّة
الراقية، مثل آيفون جيفوري المطلي بالذهب، ولامبورغيني، وأحدث جهازمن
سامسونج. ناهيك عن أدوات ومنتجات الحياة العصرية، مثل سامسونج في آر، والساعات
الذكية و"واكوم" وأقراص الرسومات التي تعد من الأكثر مبيعاَ في المنطقة.
تهدف "جائزة تشانيل الشرق الأوسط" إلى تعريف البائعين
والموزعين وبائعي التجزئة بإنجازات منطقة الشرق الأوسط في مجال تكنولوجيا
المعلومات.. ولهذا العام، ضمّت هذه الجائزة أكثر من 360 اسماً من روّاد تكنولوجيا
المعلومات في منطقة االشرق الأوسط.
