Partnership in line with leading Middle East auctioneer’s commitment to help elevate people’s lives and enrich local communities
UAE, May 18, 2016 - Emirates Auction, the Dubai-based leading auction company in the Middle East, has entered into an agreement with Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, in support of Dubai Cares’ efforts to provide children in developing countries with access to quality education. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by H.E. Abdullah Matar Al Mannaei, Managing Director of Emirates Auction, and Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Cares.
Under the agreement, the region’s leading auctioneer commits to supporting Dubai Cares in its effort to raise funds locally in support of providing children in developing countries with access to quality education, particularly by hosting a charity auction which will take place in October of this year.
H.E. Abdullah Matar Al Mannaei, Managing Director of Emirates Auction said: “We look forward to working alongside Dubai Cares in organizing fundraising initiatives that will help the philanthropic organization provide as many children as possible with the gift of education. All of us must do our part to break the cycle of poverty plaguing the developing world, and we join Dubai Cares in its belief that education is the best long-term solution to poverty. Giving children access to education is the key to empowering and helping them create a quality and happy life of their own. As part of the MoU, Emirates Auction will also donate auction items to Dubai Cares and place items secured by the organization on its online auction portal free-of-charge. In addition, the auction house will help promote Dubai Cares’ programs and initiatives on its website and auction halls.

"الإمارات للمزادات" تتعاون مع "دبي العطاء" لمنح فرص التعليم السليم للأطفال في البلدان النامية
الإمارات، 18 مايو 2016 - دخلت "الإمارات للمزادات"، الشركة الرائدة في مجال المزادات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط والتي تتّخذ من دبي مقراً لها، في شراكة إستراتيجية مع دبي العطاء، جزء من مبادرات محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم العالمية، وذلك في خطوة نوعية لدعم المساعي الرامية إلى تعزيز فرص حصول الأطفال على التعليم السليم في البلدان النامية. وجرى توقيع مذكرة التفاهم بين الطرفين من قبل سعادة عبدالله مطر المناعي، المدير التنفيذي لشركة "الإمارات للمزادات"، وسعادة طارق القرق، الرئيس التنفيذي لدبي العطاء.
وبموجب أحكام الإتفاقية، تعتزم "الإمارات للمزادات" تنظيم مزاد خلال شهر أكتوبر/تشرين الأوّل المقبل والذي سيتم تخصيص ريعه للمساعدة في جمع التبرّعات دعماً لجهود دبي العطاء الهادفة إلى توفير فرص التعليم السليم للأطفال في البلدان النامية. كما ستقوم "الإمارات للمزادات" بإقامة عدد من المزادات الإلكترونية والتبرّع بمجموعة من السلع والمنتجات المباعة من خلال المزادات العلنية لصالح دبي العطاء، بالإضافة إلى الترويج للمبادرات والبرامج المتعدّدة التابعة للمؤسّسة عبر الموقع الإلكتروني والقاعات المخصّصة للمزادات.
وفي معرض تعليقه على الاتفاقية، أكّد سعادة عبدالله مطر المناعي، المدير التنفيذي لشركة "الإمارات للمزادات"، على إلتزام الشركة بالتعاون الوثيق مع دبي العطاء في تنظيم المبادرات والحملات الخيرية لجمع التبرّعات والمساهمة الفاعلة في ضمان حصول أكبر عدد ممكن من الأطفال على حقهم في التعليم، مضيفاً: "العمل يداً واحدةً لكسر دائرة الفقر مسؤولية إجتماعية هامة تقع على عاتق كل منا، ونشارك دبي العطاء في إيمانها الراسخ بأن التعليم هو أحد الحلول المثالية للقضاء على الفقر بمختلف أشكاله ومظاهره وتمكين الأطفال من الحصول على أبسط حقوقهم ومساعدتهم على تحقيق الإستقرار الإجتماعي والعيش الكريم. ونحن سعداء بأن نكون جزءًا من هذه المبادرة الإنسانية الهادفة ونتطلّع قدماً للتعاون الوثيق مع دبي العطاء في إطار التزامنا المطّرد بدعم المبادرات الحكومية الرامية إلى تحسين جودة الحياة في المجتمعات النامية".
وبدوره، ثمّن سعادة طارق القرق، الرئيس التنفيذي لدبي العطاء، هذه الشراكة النوعية مع "الإمارات للمزادات"، موجّهاً بأهمية بناء مثل هذه الشراكات الإستراتيجية التي تشكّل أسساً متينة للمضي قدماً في الجهود الرامية إلى مكافحة ظاهرة الفقر في البلدان النامية. وأضاف القرق: "يتّفق كل من دبي العطاء والإمارات للمزادات على ضرورة توفير التعليم السليم في المجتمعات النامية بإعتباره ركيزة أساسية للقضاء على الفقر وضمان العيش الكريم للأفراد والمجتمعات. وممّا لا شك فيه أن هذه الشراكة ستعود بالمنفعة الكبيرة على مستوى جمع المزيد من الأموال والتبرّعات التي سيتم إستثمارها بالشكل الأمثل في بناء المدارس وتوفير المواد التعليمية اللازمة وتدريب الهيئات التدريسية في البلدان النامية".
ويُذكر أن دبي العطاء هي مؤسّسة إنسانية إماراتية عالمية قامت حتى الآن بإطلاق العديد من البرامج التعليمية لمساعدة ما يزيد عن 14 مليون مستفيد في 41 بلد نام وذلك بالشراكة مع وكالات الأمم المتحدة والمنظّمات غير الحكومية الدولية والمحلية.
